Peter scratched his head, "Success rate?" The term was totally foreign to him.

"Usually... I don't know... Look Pan I'm not going to stop trying to be your friend I don't know who hurt you in the past but as I just said that's the past... You'll drive yourself to madness if you keep living in the past... I know because I've watched my dad slow going that way... All because he wants my mother back... That's why I thought you were one of his experiments..." Bell says and sighs before looking back to the angels.

"How often does it correctly distinguish between those who are and are not mutants?" Alfonse repeated the question in different terms, hoping the boy would better understand. He held the glass gently yet firmly in his hands, as if it had the potential to harm him or the younger boy.

Pandora snorted, "Who said I was living in the past? The past was boring." She rolled her eyes again.
"It's always accurate. Pretty much everything made in Arcania is. I'm guessing it isn't on Earth, though?" Peter watched how Alfonse was holding the device, "Don't worry, it's harmless. It only identifies. It's not actually any kind of weapon."

Alfonse nodded, his eyes still studying the glass. "Earth humans are rather prone to mistakes." He turned the device over in his hands. "Your own civilization isn't, I presume?"

"Aside from our current ruler? No, not really. We made plenty of mistakes in the past, but we learned from them and bettered ourselves." He shrugged, then got a wicked grin, "Hey, maybe I should use this on Aurora." Peter's expression was something like

Delilah gave a small giggle at the last part. "That's somewhat disappointing," she joked. "How do dragons live, usually? In packs, or families, or just by themselves? What do they look like?" She made her way over to a quiet place and sat down against the castle's wall. Alfonse made his way into the library. He had all but given up on finding Peter, and was instead planning to search for some interesting books. When he caught sight of the young boy hanging from the ceiling, he swallowed nervously, and cleared his throat in an attempt to gain Peter's attention. Alfonse seemed to be growing more accustomed to the ever-continuing amount of oddities he had encountered, but not so accustomed that they didn't make him uncomfortable. (So sorry for spoofing!) Chase chuckled slightly at the joke. "We'll in that remark it's a lot like humans...sort of. Dragons usually live on their own, but have been known to live as families. Mostly for the first twenty to thirty years. Sometimes longer. Rarely though they can live in packs, but we are very solitary creatures so that's not often." He explained, sitting down in front of her on the grass. "What we look like. I'll show you that after we are done here." He said with a small smile. He really was putting it off.

"Perhaps..." Alfonse gave a nonchalant shrug. "I feel she may not approve. Even so, I must admit, I'm somewhat curious myself." He placed the glass back onto the table and picked up a second gadget at random. "What's this?"

"Your actions with how guarded you act..." Bell says and sighs as the vision fades out, returning then to the castle.

(*is gonna assume it's the pen*)
"She doesn't have to know." Peter chuckled. When Alfonse picked up the next gadget, Peter put his hands up, "Careful! That one's dangerous. I know you heal quickly, but it would still hurt. A lot. Let me see it and I'll demonstrate." Peter took it without waiting for a response, "I'm not sure if Earth has lasers yet or not, but I know they don't have anything like this. Observe." He adjusted the settings and pointed the tip of the object towards the table. After pressing a button, a thin red light shone onto the table like an ordinary laser pointer. After a moment, he adjusted it again and the pen gave a very bright red glow equivalent of a high-powered flashlight, "This is good for pointing at stuff, or to use when it's dark." He bit his lip nervously, and put it on a the next highest setting. Peter carefully turned, aimed it at a bare spot on the wall and pressing the button. Immediately after clicking it there was a tiny, smoldering black crater left on the wall, "There's also three more settings, but I never use them. They're too dangerous."

Pandora gave her a 'really?' look, "You know what I think? I think you're reading too much into this. I'm not 'guarded', or 'living in the past', and I most certainly don't need a friend." The last word was almost hissed, and her tone was deliberately cold. With that, she turned and began to walk away. (You can follow her if you want XD)

(Yeah, for some reason, I get really hyper and random when I haven't had enough rest. I try not to RP or post anything on FB when that happens.)
(I said I wasn't going to do this, but it won't be a common occurrence at least. Pandora knows adult words but saves them only when she is REALLY ticked. I myself NEVER use them, even in RL, and it's awkward for my character to do it, so I use a symbol. So if you see the symbol... yeah that's what's happening.)
Pandora immediately stiffened in her embrace, her violet eyes going wide, "What the (h!) are you doing?!" She practically shrieked.

Pandora's features relaxed and her voice dropped creepily, "Then you leave me no choice." Her eyes went coal black, including the white areas, and she began trying to siphon out some of Bell's energy. Not enough to seriously hurt her — she didn't want to Aurora to run her off from the castle or worse — but hopefully it would be enough that Pandora could slip out of her arms and make a break for it.

Bell jumps slightly before blinking and snickering. "Fine no more hug for now." She says and let's go. "At least give me a hint of what you are." She added deciding to try again with this topic.

When Pandora turned to face Bell, her eyes were still solid black and she was wearing a devilish sneer. With one blink, her eyes returned to normal and she narrowed them, "Satisfied?" She growled.

Pandora glowered up at Bell, her expression completely livid, "You... are either the dumbest, or the weirdest person I have ever had the displeasure of meeting. If you have even an ounce of self preservation, you will never put your hands on me again." She jerked her thumb towards the castle, "Now, I am going in there, and I am going to sleep. Do not even think of following me this time." Her eyes sparked, and she turned and started away. (You can reply to this, but I'm afraid I've also gotta go to bed. Night)

(I'm really sorry I didn't answer that, Cloud. I was super sleepy by the time I posted and I didn't even notice you'd posted... lol)
Delilah blinked. "Show me?" She shook her head slowly. "You don't have to do that. I mean, if you were thinking of changing yourself. You said it's pretty painful for you. I don't want you to go through that. You could just draw me a picture or something," She smiled casually and tilted her head. From this angle, and in the sunlight, she could see just how eccentric the boy really looked. She admired his tail and wings, and the scales adorning them. She couldn't help thinking the boy's dragon features were quite beautiful, and although she harbored quite a deep curiosity for seeing his dragon form firsthand, she had no desire to cause him any pain. He had probably been through enough all on his own, she thought with a tinge of sadness. How awful must it have been for him to have suffered so? His mere existence was likely painful; she couldn't imagine walking around with wings and a tail, or trying to sleep comfortably. Even more so, she couldn't imagine the pain of a change.
Alfonse admired the laser's functions. An almost-evil grin plastered itself onto his face at the encounter with the wall. Although he found it interesting, he understood easily how the Arcanians were probably able to create the laser pen with its varying degrees. He himself had attempted to create such a device, but hadn't completed his project for various reasons, the most significant being that he was, simply, for all his intelligence, a procrastinator.

(Oh no it's absolutely fine don't worry about it!😊) Chase smiled slightly, thankful that she was okay with him not changing, but he shrugged and slowly blinked. "Thank you Del, but it's okay really. It's been a while, I should make sure it works anyways." He said, looking up at her with a smile. A smile. It had been too long since the last person to make him smile, or even just smiling in general. He actually really liked this girl, strangely. Just something about her made him feel like he could trust her sigh things like his past and transformation. He never told anyone about that. He was also pretty curious to learn more about her too. She seemed to be really interesting.

"If you're sure..." The girl would have returned the smile had she not been so worried for him. Perhaps watching the change into the boy's other form would help her learn more about becoming a dragon herself. She turned her gaze to the sky and imagined the feeling of scaly wings protruding from her back, and of her face stretching outwards into a reptilian snout. Suddenly, she turned her gaze back to him. "Is there anything I could do to help make it a little less painful for you, at least?"

(Yo Cloud Qtip Jade is closing in on you two)
Jade soon stopped seeing figures appear through the trees and bushes. Was that Sasha? How could it be, he never changes his red hair color when changing forms. And besides which one has the trail attached to them. Oh, wait duh it's the boy that has it. She could see the path more clearly now; it was circling the boy. And she knew that boy was not Sasha, but his magic was liked Sasha enough to have tricked her. Meaning..
"No!" she shouted out loud as she realized what it could mean. She knew Sasha was a lone egg and had no other siblings, so it must be that this child was Sasha's hatchling. His spawn. Oh when she got her hands on Sasha she was skinning him!
