Runa looked towards her brother and finally noticed that he wasn't doing so hot.
Raja was trying his pest to make it seem like everything wasn't as bad as it looked.
Claudia was making her way to the kitchen with one hand resting on her pregnant belly. |

Summer scoffed softly. "Magic is how my hands work." she stated. "How else would it work anyways?" "I dunno..." he said, sighing. "All of this is just crashingly new to me. A few hours ago I was in my nest, my home, watching the last of my siblings die. Powerless to help them. Next thing I know I'm leaping out of my nest, barely escaping the jaws of... whatever those things were... and flying for the first time in my life. I flew for a long time... this place is nothing like home..." he said, sniffling a bit. Tears welled up in his eyes and threatened to spill. "I guess it isnt home anymore... I can't go back..." "Don't cry..." Summer blinked empathetically. "We all have our stories. It's the only thing that links us together besides the fact that none of us are perfect." Aurora momentarily marvelled at how Kiba and Damocles were able to pull several times their weight. Being a werewolf, she wasn’t weak, but she doubted she’d be able to pull a creature several times her size even in her other form. With a nod, she hastened her pace to the castle, Catori hot on her heels. It felt… weird, being unable to leave the clearing at will. (Aurora, Catori, Kiba and Berserker are inside the dome currently, but that’ll be resolved soon and everybody can pass in and out again. I’m probably gonna slow down on my posting here until then, since I’m trying specifically to RP something on page 400 and I don’t want the RP to reach the page before I’m ready. lol) (It’s fine Wolfsbane, I’m sorry you went through that. After the fight with Cosmos, he went to terrorize the elves. Not much happened for a while, and then a bounty hunter from Asgard showed up to try to take Loki back. He hurt Raja pretty badly, then chased him and Morgan and Loki back to the castle. Clip, a character with powers over barrier magic, sealed the barrier before the hunter could get through. Loki killed the hunter, but he’s trapped outside the barrier, which is on lockdown mode. Nobody can get in or out right now.) Kiba sighed and he dragged Berserker but when he got to the gate he just let him go and said," well his tail tastes horrible. |

A faint smile appeared across Alice's lips as Skaldi asked who the bird was. "A friend." She murmured before locking eyes with Skaldi. "It was created in the same lab i was kept in, I'm not really sure how long ago though. Though you peobably know him as the one who attacked a big group of us by the castle the other day." She lifted her head and looked up at the sky, wondering where the cosmic bird would be currently.

(The barrier is open again, guys!!)
Loki took one step into the clearing, eyes narrowed as he glared down at Clip. He didn’t trust the creature. Should he fail to meet his demands, nothing was stopping him from locking Loki out again -- or worse. But where was he going to get ’sweets’ at the spur of a moment? The trickster’s answer, and solution to the problem, happened to walk up several seconds later. Though Loki wasn’t sure what sort of abominable, brightly colored creatures those were that Hannah was eating, he could both see and smell the sugary substance they were coated in. Before she had time to react, Loki snatched the bag of sour gummy worms out of her hands and tossed it to Clip.
(Also, just so that everyone knows, there is no fence, wall or gates of any kind around the castle. Aside from the castle, there’s a well and an ice house, but no other structures. Just a large, grassy area surrounded by trees.)
“Well, I would imagine so.” Aurora mumbled with a shake of her head, wearing the faintest sign of a smile. She continued leading the group to the kichen without a further word.
“I do not think I saw him, no, but I heard what… happened…” Skaldi followed Alice’s gaze to the sky, wondering where her friend had went to. “I hope he is alright.” The young huldra quietly offered. Skaldi knew what it was like to lose a friend, and they sympathized with Alice. Hopefully her friend hadn’t met the same fate as theirs.

"That would be great..." he said, giving a small smile. He turned to look at the castle again, and wanted to just touch the solid air one more time. He put his hand forward to push, and lost his balance and fell. "What the... it's gone??" he said, getting back to on his talons. "The... solid air... thing... it's not there anymore.. Can we go in the castle now...?"

"Okay.." he said, slowly following behind her. "So... is there like a king or something? A queen?" he asked as he stretched his wings a bit. He noticed a bit of his purple blood staining his feathers, and sighed. He was exhausted and wished he could just find somewhere to rest and heal.

Alice smiled, comforted by Skaldi's empathy. She shook her head before lowering her gaze off into the distance, obviously looking at something invisible. "So, what was the deal with the barrier? I heard a lot of trouble going on by it so i went to watch from a distance." She chuckled slightly, amused as she thought back to when other outcasts were locked in or out of the barrier.

"Eh. It's no big deal." Summer shrugged as she ed the way down the hall. "Is there anything I can do to repay you?" Ibis asked, then heard a noise coming from the kitchen as they headed for it. "Is someone else in there..?" he asked, a bit hesitant. Despite knowing there were definitely no predators in the castle, his anxiety wouldn't let go of the feeling that there was. |

Skaldi’s brown eyes followed the direction in which Alice was looking, a slight frown forming. Their experience with the solid barrier was brief. The shock of being trapped within the clearing had initially frightened Skaldi, mostly because they didn’t understand the magic or the reason behind it. Prior to then, Skaldi was unware that there was even a shield in place. To Alice’s question, the young huldra gave a solemn shake of their head. “I… do not know.” Their voice was small and worried. Skaldi hadn’t yet realized that the barrier was working normally again. Aurora waved a greeting to El before responding to Kiba. “I’m not certain what it’s called, but I will make a plate of it for you.” She offered, pausing briefly to glance at Adonis. It had been a while since she’d last saw the young animal. (Current kitchen occupants: Aurora - elf/werewolf, Kiba - wolf/fox chimera, Peter - human, Adonis - lynx cub, Corynn - human, Kyra - husky, El - vampire, and Asher - wingless fairy. Posting their species specifically for you, @graphitetheowl  ) Icarus proceeded cautiously through the dense forest underbrush, eyes peeled for any suspicious within the terrain. His brother wasn’t answering his messages and he wanted to know why. As he reached the edge of the grassy, open area, Icarus paused to scrutinize the various people within view. |

Kiba looked at her and then jumped onto the counter which he knew he wasn't supposed to do but liked to do it anyways. Kiba then asked," how can you make it if you don't know what it is called?"

Ibis listened from outside of the kitchen, trying to make his anxiety go away. "They're just other creatures. Other horrifying, unknown creatures..." he told himself. All he knew were the Gahoolians (his race), and the Predators, along with the small animals he ate for food. He had no idea what awaited him in that room, but the smells coming out of it made his stomach rumble. He sighed, and decided to peek in to at least see who all was in there. His orange eye peeked around the doorway, and he saw... so many creatures!! He wanted to duck back around the corner but he had never seen such creatures before! 8 of them were in the kitchen, and while they were all different... they seemed to be getting along. They weren't attacking each other. He knew some of them could easily attack the others, but they weren't. His worry of being spotted went to the back of his mind as he just watched in awe. His frame stuck out from the doorway a bit more, despite now being easily seen.

Asher was trying to get the kitten to play with a balled up napkin she had found.
Corynn chuckled, "Oh, Claudia would not be happy right now." She said.
Runa chuckled at how Loki just handled the candy. "We really need to get Raja inside before he passes out from standing with his knees locked. She added telepathicly to Loki.
Raja had indeed been standing this whole time with his knees lock just to keep from falling over due to the pain. |

(Sorry for the lateness in response. Had a lot of stuff going on, IRL and on other RPs.)
“It is already made,” Aurora clarified, “I need only to put it on a plate for you.” She said nothing of Kiba being on the counter, but still showed her disapproval with a stern look before going to get a plate from the cabinet.
The moment that Kiba had leaped onto the counter, Adonis had backed into a corner, hissing and spitting with hackles raised. As the paper ball moved around, the kitten marginally settled down and balled up, staring with interest but still noticeably trembling.\
Peter glanced from his terrified kitten, to the canine standing on the counter. “Would you please hop down? You’re scaring my cat.” He grumbled, gesturing with his hand for Kiba to jump down. Some small sound caught his attention, and he turned back to the doorway, an eyebrow going up at the sight of the bird-like creature standing there. What in all of the Otherworld was that?
Hannah very much wanted to follow after Loki and the others, as she would love to actually see and hear the conversation she knew was coming, but she also realized that Loki would never allow that. What a pity. With any luck, perhaps she could ask one of the others later to show her what happened, through a time bubble or something. She was a little saddened to have lost the gummy worms, but at least they went to a good purpose. Besides, she had plenty of candy left in the RV.
Loki gave a small nod in agreement to what Runa ‘said’. The trickster took a step forward, hesitating. How would he be able to get him inside? “Can you walk?” He carefully asked. If Raja was totally incapable of walking, he’d have no choice but to carry him. Somehow.
Sabrina stretched themselves around Runa’s shoulders like a fluffy scarf, watching in silence while one ear twitched.

Ibis's eyes connected with Peter's, and he quickly pulled himself back around the corner. His feathers subconsciously slimmed down against his body to try to make him blend in, despite the walls contrasting greatly against his purple nature. 'It saw me..' he said, unsure of what the creature that saw him was. His heart quickened a bit, wondering if it would come out. He knew it was probably friendly, but he also knew he really didnt know anything about these creatures!!

Raja answered and crossed his arms, and instantly regretted the decision as it cause one of the wound that had actually stopped bleeding to start again. So to hide the pain that was showing on his face he just started walking towards the castle. And had blatantly forgotten about how his hair had been changing colours as of late and at the current moment was a lifeless grey colour.
"I wonder who he got his stubbornness from." Runa said before glancing at Loki.
Morgan just followed Raja and decided to change into clean clothes while floating behind Raja. |
