Bast hissed like a cat at the remark. "No I let my warriors do there battle. Any scars they have are scars of war! They earned them with great pride! I do not attack if a cat is harmed as cats can defend themselves." She said as her yellow cat-like eyes pupils turned to slits. "Wisdom? If only you Greeks knew wisdom when you took over Egypt. Are you here the same reason I am? To find a chaos that has been sensed here? If so which God sent you." She asked before letting the knife vanish away. She was not going to fight but she was going to taunt Athena. What could the Greek Goddess do? Bast was older much older and had a lot more power. She fought Apophis the Serpent god of chaos!

Athena lifted her gaze back up to the Bast. "I don't take kindly to insults." She stated, assuming Bastet had not heard about the stories of arachne, medusa and other creatures. "Besides. You may be 'older' than me, but we're on the same level of power, Bast." Her sharp tone turned neutral, her golden eyes shifting to a silver colour. "Apollo of course. Though Ares was going to go but i beat him to it." She grinned, gazing at the Goddess blankly. "Though how do you know? Were you sent too?"
Athena scratched her chin as she began to think. "If two Gods were called to find this 'chaos' thing. It must be something big..."

"I have taken down the Egyptian serpent god of chaos Apophis. I say that makes me much stronger." Bast said as she put her black hair into a ponytail. "I was sent by Ra, Horus and Isis. Isis said she could sense an imbalance and Ra agreed that he felt it as well." She pondered when the Goddess said that. "What indeed is so bad that two goddesses and goddesses of different myths for that matter are sent here to investigate...whatever it is I'm guessing it may be apocalyptic..." She said dreading the last word. "If it's that bad I think we should play nice with each other Athena."

Aurora nodded as Corynn explained more about dogs. “If you ever want any help finding something for her to eat, just let me know.” Although, that shouldn’t be a problem with the woman that constantly cooked for the castle’s many residents. Aurora had only spoken with her a couple of times and didn’t know her that well, but she was eternally grateful for the wonderful meals she made daily.
Peter motioned to the device strapped around his left wrist. “With this. I just sent him a message to let him know where I was going.” He explained. Adonis continued to struggle and it was a literal pain to hold onto him. The boy had no idea that a predator had set its sights on the young cat.
Both of the wolf’s ears lay flat, partly at Keldeo’s explanation, but also the means in which it had been communicated. “A fight?” Catori asked with a slight head tilt. Her thoughts drifted back to the gigantic black feline that Aurora had once fought. She hoped it hadn’t been anything like that. So far, the wolf hadn’t detected the scent of blood in the clearing.

"I have a sister that still lives there." Adrian quietly said. He missed his family that much was obvious. "Oh noes. I'm sorry for your loss." Annabelle seemed to shift from happy to sad instantaneously. Adrian blinked. "What? No she's still alive and well." At least he hoped. |

Adrian shrugged looking a little uncomfortable. "Yeah...True." He tried not to think too much about his family and friends back home because it bummed him out.
[Oh what if she showed up? I'd be totally cool with it if anyone wants to make and rp her. She has snow leopard ears and tail like Adrian but that's all I decided about her.]

Athena simply shrugged off the first part of Bast's statement with a roll of her eyes. She watched the Goddess closely as she continued, her attention buried deep in her mind. At the last statement, Athena seemed almost reluctant for a moment. "Fine. A truce." She held out an open hand, "We must work together to stop this... thing."

Bast knew it would be hard to work with the Greek Goddess, Egyptians and Greeks never quite got along. "Truce. And may Ra watch over us so we do not get destroyed." She said shaking Athena's hand. She thought about the Greek gods for a moment. She remembered about Thoth complaining about being compared to Hermes and she smiled at the thought. Albeit her and Thoth didn't quite see eye to eye they were still relatively friends.

Asher looked towards the cat, "Hey, if you call down he wouldn't hold on so tightly." She said before looking at Peter. "I can ride on his back so that he can explore but stay close too you." She added as a suggestion. |

Aurora seated herself at the table, smiling over again at Kyra. She caught herself wondering again what Catori would think of her. The wolf got along well with the chimera brothers, Kiba and Damocles, but she hadn’t been as friendly with Nova. Although, that may have been because Hannah seemed hesitant to let the dog around larger animals. Aurora was sure Catori would be nice with any animal she was familiar with.
Peter tried to calm down, but he didn’t loosen his grip around the spotted ball of fluff. “That’s probably not a good idea. At least, not until we get to the castle. It’ll be safer there. Believe me.” As he started across the spacious clearing, the ruffling of feathers caught his attention but he thought little of it. The large bird of prey leaped from a high tree and soared quietly above the clearing at a downward angle, talons flexing and reaching out for… something.
(Everyone except Dragon Girl, of course. Can’t kill what’s already dead. ;P)

Keldeo sniffed the arid air as it walked forward to sit beside the wolf. "Mhm. Giant bird thing came from out of nowhere. I wasn't there when it appeared. I could see the attacks from quite a distance. I sensed there was something wrong." It snorted, blinking as it looked up towards the empty sky; Keldeo could tell that Catori seemed slightly surprised by how the creature was communicating but it was used to others reacting like that, it definitely wasn't uncommon.

Athena let out a yawn. "Let's get looking. Eh? It might take some time though. Who knows how many residents there are in this castle, let alone the whole region." She spun her spear before tapping the ground with it. Her Little Owl hooted as it ruffled its wings on the woman's shoulder.
