The microchip flickered before projecting a three-dimensional, blue hologram. It projected the image of a bird, but it wasn't feathery like a bird but rather... gaseous? The bird was labelled 'Experiment 37: Nebula' and next to it was another image. It was several square plates held together in an octagonal sphere shaped cage, though pulled apart slightly. The cage was labelled 'restrictors' and the description stated:
'The restrictors - made out of an alloy, have been made to compromise Experiment 37's power. Files of the previous design have been deleted and the machine containing that data will be destroyed, Experiment 37's 'origin forme' has proved too powerful to be kept under control and the restrictors will be put into use. As long as it is under the influence of the restrictors, Experiment 37 power will be minimised. '
(If you're wondering, the scientists thoughts on its origin forme is actually different to what i have the origin forme as yay)

(It's fine Cloud!) Skaldi finally turned to Mason and dabbed some tears away. The shaking had all but stopped but the horrified expression remained. Very nervously, Skaldi turned and peered out from beneath the bed. The thunderous footfalls were no longer audible, so he was either gone or lurking. Skaldi sincerely hoped it was the first option and not the second. Hannah seated herself at the table with a plate of food. "Yeah, that's right. As soon as everyone eats and Morgan gets back, we can go." Hopefully by then, the sun will have sank a little more and wouldn't be so terrible, but without it being dark. (Right? haha) Mason crawled out and looked under the bed, holding out a hand to help her out. "Come on Skaldi, it's okay, I promise," he said reassuringly, offering her a smile also. Though under the smile he felt a wave of worry. Whoever that person was had terrified Skaldi. He wasn't sure why, he might ask later, but it sent a chill down his spine that this person had scared her so badly. .+*+.+*+. Taking a bite out of the purple fruit, Lachy nodded slowly. "Okay then. Sounds like a good plan," he said, smiling. "Hopefully we can get you those books of yours, and you can get your memory back," HR said, going over it out loud. At least, that was the plan, how he might play out could go a lot worse. Knowing the creators, himself included, it won't go smoothly. |

Peter studiously read the information that went along with the hologram. He followed most of it, but he still didn't know what the 'origin forme' was. Most of Arcania's experiments were strange, yet relatively benign. Alhough, there were those rare, usually secret, exceptions that citizens liked to gossip about in hushed whispers, behind closed doors. The government didn't like for anyone to know about those and was quick to silence talk about them. Something bugged Peter. How did Alice get ahold of an Arcanian experiment? The answer seemed almost obvious, but he was almost unwilling to believe it. After all, she did say that she was from a version of Earth. This creature though... Whatever it was sounded very dangerous. He had a very bad feeling about it and wondered if he should tell his brother.
(Oh boy. XD)
Skaldi nodded and very reluctantly accepted Mason's hand. Once out from under the bed, the young huldra sniffled and wiped away another tear. A fright that severe was hard to recover from. Hopefully, that awful Thunderer would be gone and not laying in wait somewhere, posed to strike down another troll.
"Yeah. Hopefully." Hannah absentmindedly agreed as she tentatively started to eat. Nova sat beneath the table, whining and begging for a scrap, but Hannah wouldn't give anything to her. Not because she didn't want to, but that her dog had a very sensitive stomach and couldn't tolerate table scraps.

(ok everyone listen up. Artemis and I have been talking a bit for the past couple days about a plot we are going to go ahead with. As you know my character Luna is the human counterpart of the moon and for some reason she was brought to the world. Well that is what the plot revolves around. There is a bad guy who is the human counterpart of the Void of Space. I will not say gender or name because that is for Artemis to say not me. The idea is that the bad guy is the reason she was brought to the castle. Luna will end up figuring out why she is here and trying to find out who it is but not for a couple of rp days as Artemis wishes for time to get the army of the Void. The Void will be trying to gather people to it's side to take down the light of the castle (light is happiness) but Luna is going to put a stop to it with help of those who wish to join her. That is all I will explain for now but this is the plot we have been working on. We are explaining now so you understand the sides and choose which characters of yours you want on which sides. Lachy watched for a moment as she started to eat, before blinking and looking around. Hearing whining he looked under the table to see Nova begging, and he chuckled. "Aww what's wrong Nova? Will Hannah not give you any food?" He asked happily, keeping his own food above the table where she couldn't see it. He wasn't going to give her anything either of course. |

Alice cupped Cosmos in her hands and smiled before turning, letting the bird hop onto her shoulder. "I'm starving, how about we see what's let in the kitchen?" She asked rhetorically and the cosmic bird tweeted. Alice nodded and started walking back towards the castle.
With another flicker, the microchip projected a different image. This time it was moving. The hologram showed the same bird that was in the diagram. The bird was hovering it the air, the black plates of restrictors competely closed around the creature and let out a faint red glow. Quickly though, the glow turned into an aggressively bright white light and the restrictors were pulled apart. It seemed as though the diagram was showing them... trying to destroy it?
(Artemis, do you want me to pm you what plot i have in mind for cosmos and alice or just post it here?. It's not entirely thought of yet. If you want i might see if it can tie into or lead into Luna and that void space thingy's arc ^^)
(I think Keldeo would be on the good side. Whatever side that is. Alice would be good side as well. Cosmos might be on the void of space side if the idea i have in mind is alright with you guys X3)

(I'll try to start my part of the plot this Friday. Most of my characters would take Luna's side, but a few will be taking the side of the Void. Some unwillingly, some willingly.) Fortunately, Aura didn't seem interested in biting Morgan. All of her ferocity was directed specifically on Loki. She writhed and thrashed around in Morgan's arms, trying in futile to reach the trickster. Loki ignored the 'small, furry, raving lunatic' and focused instead of making a potion that would calm her down. A sharp squeal from the pup distracted him and he accidentally added too much wolfsbane into the bubbling mixture. Skaldi took a nervous half step back, eyeing Mason with confusion and slight mistrust. "W-what are you doing?" At this point, Skaldi was unfamiliar with human gestures such as hugs, or even a comforting arm as Mason was doing. Her people just didn't do things like that. Nova made a small whining, growling noise that sounded like a gruff " Nooo...". Hannah was used to the dog mimicking human words, intended or not, and didn't say anything about it. "Sorry Lulu, no table scraps. Vet's orders. You remember what happened last time." She muttered. After finishing the plate of food, she dug around in her bag for something sweet. No meal was truly complete without some form of dessert following, even if were just a cookie. Peter frowned at the moving images. It looked almost like... was the cage-like device actually trying to destroy Cosmos? Exactly how dangerous was it? The thought really began to worry him. I think I need to tell Icarus about this... Maybe he'll know what this is about, and how to handle it. He decided. ( 🌿 Loѕтмoon 🌿: It's more fun to scheme, so you can go ahead and PM me. >:3) |

She raised an eyebrow at the amount of wolfsbane. “Wouldn’t that much harm her?” She asked softly, how she actual knew that now was beyond her, but then again, she has had some weird things happening around her lately and wasn’t actually surprised by the sudden information.
Raja had decided to walk around outside. He was enjoying the quiet in his mind. Ever since that weird thing with the disappearing and coming in contact with something else he’s had a constant presence in his mind. He didn’t mind most of the time but sometimes the quiet was nice.

Loki scoffed at Morgan. "Do you... have any idea how long I have been crafting potions? I know exactly what I am doing." He grumbled. Sure, he'd lost his concentration but for a moment and added too much of an ingredient, but he wouldn't be Loki if he easily admitted to mistakes. He knew the other ingredients would render the poisonous part of the wolfsbane inert, so he wasn't worried about there being too much of it.
Aura continued to put up a protest. The smell of the potion burned her nose and she growled at the trickster's back.

The restrictors closed in on experiment 37 again in another attempt, only to be pulled apart once more - the bird seemed unharmed. The microchip flickered one more time and projected another moving image. It was similar to the one before, but the cage seemed a lot different, it was shaped into a cube rather than an octagonal sphere; perhaps an older design? The cube compeltely closed around the bird, seeming to work at first before another bright light was emitted. A wave erupted from the centre of the cube, causing it the snap, twist and break. Again, the bird was unharmed.

After some walking she found herself near a room that definitely was important. With a sigh she decided to change her appearance to hide the fact that she was going to be nosey. She never missed a chance to mess with her evil family either. After she had managed to fully look like one of her Aunt’s she walked into the room quietly to find out what they planned on next.
Morgan rolled her eyes and shrugged. She just was pointing it out to help. “Snappy.” She muttered as her pride had been hurt a little. She shook her head before looking at Aura. She wished she could do something more to help then just holding her friend. “Uncle would know” She unintentionally muttered aloud before sighing. |

Peter watched as the images showed more failed attempts at containing the bird. If Alice indeed freed the bird, he wondered if the Arcanian scientists had been successful in making anything that could keep it from escaping. If so, could there be any way to recreate it? Although, Alice seemed pretty attached to the creature, and he knew it would be no easy task to get it away from her.
Inside the room was a small, cat sized creature curled up inside of a cage. It was long and lanky with the build of a large weasel, a rounded head and a short muzzle. The eyes were large and dark. It had paws like a raccoon or a monkey. The ears and soft fur's color resembled that of an opossum, and the tail was bushy like a fox or a squirrel. Overall, the little animal was very cute but it appeared frightened.
Loki ignored Morgan's remarks, instead trying to focus on the rest of the potions. The rest of the ingredients were fickle and another mistake would ruin it. Several minutes later, he moved the potion from the flame and allowed it to cool before carefully pouring it into a vial. The trickster turned and offered the vial to Morgan. "Make sure that she drinks all of it." He said, glaring down at the overly aggressive pup.

She wondered why the poor little thing was scared. But more over she wanted to find out the purpose of it. She almost came out of her hiding spot when she heard someone else walk into the room. ”Oracle bunnies. Is that Odin?” She though before peeking from her spot to see Odin walking over to the cage with the little creature.
“Soon, I’ll have the realms bowing to me thanks to you.” Odin said to the creature before walking over to his desk. “First I’m going have you fetch me the time traveling fool Rajanimphora. Then I’m going to use him to get Loki if the hunter fails. You’ll also keep that fool in check and keep him from using his powers unless told to!” He nearly shouted before giving an evil laugh.
Runa had froze. In her dimension, her twin was dead. Did that mean Odin was going to use a different dimension’s Raja to lure Loki in? She couldn’t let that happen. She will protect her family even if their a different dimensional version. She took a deep breath before letting her disguise change. She was really going to troll Odin right now with looking like her twin. After another deep breath, she used some magic to make the cage disappear before running towards the pup and picking it up.
Morgan made a face at the smell of the potion but nodded and hoped she’d never have to drink anything that smelled so foul. After grabbing the vial she looked down at Aura, ”Hey, I need you to drink this. It’ll make you feel more like yourself.” She said to Aura before putting the vial close to aura’s mouth.

The creature made a quiet mewling sound in surprise when the cage vanished. It was not expecting for anything like that to happen, and it was startled. As it was suddenly picked up by an unfamiliar person, it immediately latched onto the person and buried its face in their neck. Whoever this person was, the creature felt they were a rescuer and a hero. Nothing at all like that mean, scary old man that had locked it up in a cage.
Some part of Aura understood what Morgan was saying, but she was currently unable to do much about her actions. She continued to thrash around and growl at the trickster.
Loki gave an indignant huff. "Here, I will force her jaws apart. You pour the potion into her mouth." As he did so, he tried to ignore the pain as Aura imbedded her sharp, needle-like teeth into his fingers. He was glad he wasn't human.

"Not everyone can step the boundaries of time like you." Runa smiled slightly at the creature before giving Odin a cocky smile. “Gonna try to use this little thing to get me? Nice try Old Fart.” She said before running out of the room just as the shocked Odin recovered and bellowed his war cry. ”Great. I will now have all of the ‘family’ after me. What is this creature anyways.” She thought as she ran. What she was going to do next was something she still had to think of.
“YOU FOOL! YOU DON’T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THAT CREATURE!” Odin shouted as he chased Runa, who he thought was Raja. Though what Runa did next caught Odin off guard, she skimmed his mind for information.
“Ah! Thanks for the info!” Runa shouted back before turning a corner. ”Ok, So this little cutie will be my ticket out of here.” She thought before starting a spell and mixing in some of her time ability. She had to make this creature full grown at least long enough to jump dimensions. She stopped as she got outside and reluctantly put the creature down but was just in time to finish her spell.
Morgan flinched as Loki allowed himself to be bit before pouring the potion into Aura’s mouth. She felt bad for forcing her friend to drink it but knew she didn’t have a choice. Once the vial was empty she started to hold Aura in an almost sisterly hold. “So, tell me now.” Morgan demanded.

The creature was very reluctant to let go of Runa. Once it finally surrendered and allowed her to set it on the ground, it looked up and made little chirps of inquiry. Was she setting it free? The next thing it knew, the creature was suddenly changing shape and size. It gave a small squeal of surprise as it prematurely underwent the transformation from child to adult. The end result was nothing short of horrible. It was no longer anything remotely close to cute.
As the contents of the vial were poured into Aura's mouth, she tried to shake her head and began to cough and sputter, but Loki held her still. Very reluctantly she swallowed the potion. The pup's eyes closed and she went almost completely limp as Loki intended. Aura was actually fine, but put into a harmless state of half consciousness, akin to a tranquilizer. (Wait for it...)
It was clear that Loki really didn't want to explain everything to Morgan, but she was easier to deal with when he was straight up and honest with her questions. He was not like most adults and saw nothing wrong with telling children the answers to anything they asked. In a murmur, he briefly explained his previous imprisonment and escape, and what the Asgardians feared from him. He left out the part that involved Morgan.

"Not everyone can step the boundaries of time like you." Runa blinked before making an ‘Aww’ sound. To her this creature was still adorable even as an adult. “Ok so we’re gonna get out of here but I’m gonna need to climb onto your back.” Runa explained hoping it would understand her.
Odin finally caught up with Runa. “Fool, what have you done?” He demanded before drawing his sword and attempting to attack Runa, who jumped out of the way barely in the nick of time. After that she summoned some fire to her hands to be ready for the next attack.
Morgan nodded, a lot she had read in the notebooks. “What does my brother’s death have to do with all of it?” She asked softly. Her mother had been mad when she found out about her half-brother and refused to say anything about him. She looked at the pup in her arms. She was worried about her not moving besides breathing slightly.

The creature didn't understand what had just happened to it. It had never saw an adult of its species and wasn't even sure what it was. However, it bobbed its head once to what Runa said. It understood that its rescuer was in danger and was willing to do whatever it took to get the hero to safety. Momentarily forgetting that it was now too tall for her to climb onto its back, it knelt down so she could climb on.
Loki hesitated at the question. Bringing up the death was hard for him and he had to look away for a moment to reign in his sudden surge of anger. He explained that it was her brother that helped him escape, and that action was what led to his demise. It was a half truth, but not a lie. That was only one of the reasons that the boy had been killed. As he told her this, he looked away to hide the guilt in his eyes. He'd never wanted any of his family to be hurt because of him.
Aura blinked repeatedly in a sleepy fashion and lay her chin across one of Morgan's arms as Loki talked. Little by little, a low growl started in her throat. Her muscles began to twitch. Something was very wrong with the potion.

With the swiftness of having ridden horses most of her life she got on the creatures back before pointing straight. “Run. Run and think of finding a person named Rajanimphora.” She said before looking at the form of Odin again getting ready to charge.
Morgan nodded, and was about to ask another question before she looked down at the pup. “I told you it was too much wolfsbane.” She said before looking up at Loki and holding onto Aura tightly. What could she do. She knew she wanted everyone to be calm right now. How could she manage that though? It wasn’t like she could do magic.
