Aura continued to sleep.
Peter had to do some serious begging and pleading before Icarus relented and let him leave again. Just as last time, his brother kept a close eye on him from a distance. Peter had no idea his brother was anywhere around.
At some point in the afternoon, Hannah finally woke from her slumber, then spent another hour laying around writing some things and thinking. Eventually, Nova's whining became persistant enough that she got up and took the dog outside. Minutes later, the two of them ventured back up to the library. Nova was still kept on a leash, but Hannah was considering letting her off of it if the dog behaved.

Dragon girl grinned and a scythe appeared in her hand, "You sure about that? I was scheduled to reap the spirit of a girl at this place, and you match the description." She was lying, of course.

Keldeo turned it's head, it's brilliant red mane flowing in the gentle breeze. It glanced once at the direction of the castle, and then back towards the deep forest before taking off. It jumped high into the air and it's horn formed a long golden blade, it easily sliced a large branch of one of the trees. The branch toppled and fell to the ground. Keldeo landed not to far away, the golden blade disappeared. The creature seemed to be making sure that it could still use its attacks.

Lachy was still in the library. He had been just about all day since he had gotten up. Of course he had left to get some snacks for the time, which consisted entirely of fruit of all sorts. He loved fruit. He had gotten bored quickly, but had kept himself busy in certain ways. The current one being that he tried to read a book. He knew he couldn't, that was obvious, he just wanted to look at the writing and try and at least say the words. He gave up on that pretty quickly, so he just settled with looking at the symbols. He eventually closed the book and groaned. He didn't mind waiting, but he was kind of wondering where Hannah was. Did she forget where to meet? He glanced around the room, hid eyes landing on the satchel on the desk in front of him. It hadn't changed yet, which was good.

Nova, tugging as hard as she could on the leash, appeared in the library first. Upon catching sight of Lachy, she let loose a series of baying barks.
"Nova, shut up!" Hannah said as she appeared in the doorway.
Nova quieted down at the command, but then started pulling at the leash even more, sniffing towards Lachy.
The castle showed Morgan what was going on in the library.

Lachy'd eyes immediately snapped over to the door as he heard the barking. Seeing Nova, and Hannah a second later, he stood up and put the book down, stretching. "Hannah! There you are!" He said as he started over to her, looking down at Nova. He wouldn't get too close, he'd heard plenty about the puppy, so he was skeptical.

"Heh, sorry. I always sleep late. This is actually fairly early for me." Hannah said with a shrug, "And don't worry about Nova. That's just how she greets people. She's never bit anyone. Except me, of course. And I was asking for it." She said with a laugh.
Nova edged closer and closer to Lachy, brown nose twitching.
Aura was totally limp with sleep. She didn't even stir when she was picked up.

Lachy smiled and blinked. "Oh okay then," he said and crouched down, holding out his hand for Nova. He wondered if she would remember him, though he doubted it. He then said up again, looking at her. "Oh okay then, I was kinds starting to worry," he said with a small chuckle. He kind of had, but he did know that she should be okay while she was in the castle.

Mason was out of bed by now. He hadn't really left his room for most of the day, but eventually hunger drove him out into the castle halls, and he was now heading over to the kitchen for something to eat.
Chase hardly slept much during the night. He had been laying on the roof, looking up at the sky, and he was still there, looking up. He had been watching the sun rise and go over their heads. He didn't know really know why he was still there, but he felt somewhat depressed lately. He wasn't his usual self.

After taking the time to get use to it she tested going through the walls with her paws first before eventually floating up to the library the quickest way possible. She was also thankful that she could apply her intangiblity to whatever she was touching. |

Alice slid down the stairs to the first floor. I wonder what happened to Passive... I kind of just left her behind... The Cat Girl looked at Cosmos before speaking to the cosmic bird, "I'm starving... I hope there's food in the kitchen. Or I'll probably have to go looking for some myself!" She chuckled, petting the bird before roaming the hallway towards the kitchen.

Nova calmly approached Lachy, proceeded to release another series of barks, then excitedly lick his hand as if she had known him her whole life.
Hannah rolled her eyes at the dog. "Like I said, I'm a night owl," she shrugged, "I probably shouldn't have planned for everyone to meet here so early." She yawned. It was past 3, but she was still a little groggy.
Skaldi was seated at the kitchen table and finishing a second serving of food. The young troll loved living at the castle, in spite of some of its more scary tenants.
Aura continued to sleep soundly.
Dragon girl grinned like the Cheshire cat. "Hey, where you going, kid?! That's not the right way to the afterlife! Believe me. I know." She said with a giggle.
Peter thought he heard someone following him at one point. Was it Icarus? He wouldn't put it past his brother to spy on him. Hmm... I might can lose him if I flew. It'll be quicker too. Wearing a smirk, the boy took to the air. Once in the sky, he could easily spot the castle and sailed straight toward it. A couple of minutes later, he lightly touched down on the grass in the clearing and started for the entrance.

Lachy chuckled at the flurry of licks he received from the dog. Standing, he looked at Hannah and nodded slowly. He couldn't say he was overly impressed, but that was only because he had been waiting, so he pushed it aside. Blinking, he shrugged. "Anyway, did you have a good sleep?" He asked politely, turning to walk over to the chairs, gesturing for her to follow. However as soon as he turned he saw wolf Morgan and jumped, letting out a gasp but no yell. Bringing his hand up to his hand up to his chest, he swore. "You scared the bejeebies out of me," he said, fixing up his glasses before they fell off.
Mason eventually made his way to the kitchen, and padded in, looking around. His eyes quickly landed on Skaldi and he smiled. They seemed to be the only one in the kitchen. "Hello there Skaldi," he greeted, padding over.

Hannah remained standing by the door, answering his question with a simple nod. When Morgan wolf made her appearance, the girl took a wary half step back through the door, only relaxing when she realized who it was. She smirked at Lachy's reaction. "Nice entrance."
Skaldi heard someone else enter the kitchen and looked up, mouth still full of food. Upon realizing it was Mason, Skaldi smiled widely. "Hi!"

Keldeo watched Pasive interact with Dragon Girl, a look of concern on its face. It considered jumping in but shook it's head, knowing it was probably best to leave them be.
Alice grabbed a few snacks from the kitchen before disappearing off. Cosmos, who was once on her shoulder, flew up and zipped around the castle cheerfully. The cosmic dust that formed the entity glowed brightly, making the bird stand out.

Peter caught a glimpse of something flying overhead and turned to look up at it. What was that?
"Well... Where do you think he might be keeping them?" Best to start with something easy. Once they had an idea where the books were at, then they could work on finding a way to retrieve them.

"Secret floor...?" Hannah was curious about that, but also hoped that Lachy wasn't right about Loki moving the books again. If they were on a secret floor, she had a theory for how to get them.

Alice ran after Cosmos to make sure the bird didn't get into trouble again. Her brown tabby cat ears flicked, tail trailed behind her and her bright violet eyes shone. "Cosmos! Slow down! You'll fly into a wall at that speed!" She called out, following as the bird completely ignored what the girl had said.
