(Perfect page > ) Misty Falls came upon a door. Shepushed it open slowly and slipped in the small crack she had opened. She floated around for a bit until she saw someone.

At this point, Alfonse's face somewhat resembled a sheet of copy paper. He shook his head slowly. "You were... deceased." He began to compose himself, and straightened his suit and tie. "A-are you in need of medical attention?" He wasn't certain if the castle had anything that may help the girl, but was sure he could improvise, if it was needed.
Ferra nodded understandingly. "I understand. Even I don't know where to begin searching, to be honest. My father may not even live among the elves anymore. I'm not certain where my mother could be..."

Peter had his nose deeply in the book. He wasn't usually a bookworm, but he was eager to learn as much as he could about some of the creatures he might encounter. Some of them could be dangerous and knowledge could prove very valuable. (He's holding the book kind of in front of him, and you could have her phase her face through it if you want. That'd surely scare him since he won't be expecting it. *snickers*)

(Thats a great idea *evil laugh*)
Misty Falls saw a book and knew the person could not see her. She floated silently towards the book and read the cover. Hmmm... She thought. She phased her head through the book and came face to face with a thing with hair. (She doesn't really know what a human [or anything thats not really ghost] is yet)

The little girl frowned, appearing deeply hurt by his words, "If I were deceased, how would I be able to talk?" She stood up and brushed the leaves and dirt off her clothes and out of her hair. The ribbon had came loose at some point, and she tied it back around her hair in a neat bow. Smiling sweetly, she introduced herself, "My name is Pandora."
Aurora felt a tinge of sympathy for the other half elf, "Well, I hope you'll be able to find them. I still miss my parents." She put on a brave face, but was haunted over her final memories of them.

Peter was totally absorbed in the book, and had only just reached an interesting part about ghosts when suddenly a face literally leered out of the book at him. With a girlish yelp, he chunked the book away as hard as he could and flailed backwards in his chair, toppling it over backwards in the process. (Smoooooth. Real smooth.)

Alfonse still hadn't completely overcome his shock factor, and his mouth hung open in a rather humorous, fish-like manner. "You... had no pulse, I presumed you to be dead. I really am mot certain how your own people perceive leaving corpses to be eaten or rot, but my culture thinks it impolite. I carried you here, but was relatively unsure of how to handle the situation..." He trailed off, and slowly stood to his feet. "In any case, I apologize for disturbing you, Pandora. My name is Alfonse Ferdinand. You may call me Alfonse, if you like."
Ferra exchanged a smile with Aurora. "Thank you." She gave a small sigh, and turned her gaze upward. "Should we head on to the garden now? You mentioned something about picking vegetables, right?"

"Are you sure I didn't have a pulse? Because I feel just fine. Maybe you were mistaken. It doesn't make any sense to be walking around without a heartbeat." She giggled as she took in the view of the castle, "Wow, what a pretty place. Do you live here?"
Aurora snapped out of the daze she'd fallen into, and smiled awkwardly, "Yeah. Come on, it's this way." She turned and led the way there.

Alfonse was unsure of how to answer. Something about the girl seemed... off, for lack of a better word. The scientist did have a strong sense of intuition, and bis was telling him not to trust the seemingly innocent child. He nodded slowly. "I am occupying this castle for the time. However, it is not mine to invite in strangers. Even so..." He paused and scratched his head. Maybe he was just on edge because she had frightened him so. "You seem to be a bit famished. I suppose it would be alright for you to come have a meal, and I'll speak with my host about further arrangements for you. Is there any particular reason you were out sleeping in the forest?"
Ferra followed along beside the girl. She's so nice. I wonder what her story is.

Pandora tucked her hands behind her back and nodded as he spoke, paying close heed to what he said. At his question, she appeared crestfallen, "I... Well..." Her gaze dropped to her feet, "I was traveling with my family and some other people, and there was a really bad storm. We got separated from each other. I tried looking for them but I got lost. I figured, maybe if I just keep walking I would catch up sooner or later..." She shook her head, "Eventually I was just so tired that I had to lay down and sleep." When she next looked up, her somber purple eyes appeared on the brink of tears. (I ended up re-writing this like four or five times before I finally found a believable story to work with. XD)
Once Aurora reached the garden, she took up one of the baskets that were sitting around and began to fill it with whatever vegetables she desired.
Catori ambled over to the far side of the garden, then plopped down to rest in the shade.

(That was so worth having a ghost characetr XD) Misty Falls couldn't help laughing, her silvery long hair shooting straight backward as she did so. "You should of seen your face!" She exlaimed, the laughing not stopping. She was happy she was a ghost; this thing couldn't hurt her when she was in phasing form. (Sorry for my poof, also)

Alfonse wondered for a moment if he believed the girl's story. This world was so odd; he had no idea how to respond properly to the situation without the possibility of putting himself in danger. Additionally, the girl did seem peculiar from the start. Although Alfonse knew logically that one needs a pulse to survive, he was certain the girl had none. He had felt it, after all. Or, rather, hadn't felt it. "Well, I'm certain there's a way to locate your family." He turned away from the girl, but not before gesturing for her to follow. "Please, follow me."
Ferra followed Aurora's lead. As she harvested the vegetables, she stole a glance at the other girl now and again, hoping to find a read on her aura. Something stood out to the girl, but she couldn't quite figure out what.

(Ghosts are awesome. My cat is named after a ghost character. :3)
Peter picked himself up off the floor, his face flushing red from embarrassment. He stared at the giggling specter, unsure if he was in any immediate danger. The door was on the other side of the room, but the window was relatively close. His feet rose off the floor a few inches as he tried to figure out whether he should flee the spook.
Pandora bounced along in sync beside him. She made an effort to try to grab his hand, wearing a ':3' expression.
For the first time since people started showing up, Aurora actually felt relatively at ease. It felt nice to have someone around she could relate with.

(Cool ) Misty Falls continued giggling, small water droplets shuddering to the ground. She saw his feet rise off th floor and said: "I'm not going to hurt you, scaredy cat. I just wanted to scare you. Don't worrry, I'm a mist ghost."

Peter sank back down to the floor. He crossed his arms and scowled, "I'm not a scaredy cat." Though inwardly, he was relieved. He had just read an excerpt that mentioned ghost possession when the misty apparition had appeared. He wasn't a coward, but he inwardly shuddered at the idea of being taken over by a ghost, "Who are you?" He asked with one eyebrow raised.

"I'm Misty Falls." She said, opening up uncharacteristicaly quickly to this new person. "Misty or Mist for short." She gray eyes still glowed with glee of scaring him. "Who are you?"

(back
hi Winter)
Peter relaxed fully, and replied, "My name is Peter. How long have you been here? I don't remember seeing you around before, and I thought ghosts were basically tied to one place. But then again... Apparently, I don't know my legendary creatures as well as I believed I did." He chuckled.

(Hi Winter!)
"Not long," She said. "How long have you been here?" She asked. Mist then realized she had left a puddle where she was laughing.

"A little over a month." He glanced down at the puddle she was making in the floor, confusion written in his face, "Do ghosts normally leak?"

"Thats a long time. And yeah, I'm made of mist- water -and usually us mist ghosts leave puddles when we laugh," She shrugged, not taking it as a big deal. "I'll clean it up soon."

Peter smirked, "It's no big deal. It'll probably evaporate..." He wondered exactly how a mist ghost was formed. Did a person have to drown, or otherwise die in water? I wonder what a certain scientist would do if he seen her... He tapped his chin in thought, before a smile spread across his face, "You seem to enjoy scaring people. Wanna go scare some more?" Peter's green eyes glinted mischievously.

Alfonse made no effort to deter the girl from holding his hand, but was visibly uncomfortable by the action. Pandora was a child, after all, and children were infamous for the harboring of germs. He reminded himself to scrub his hands later. "Would you care for a meal while I go inform the lady of the house... er, castle, of your arrival?" he asked nervously.
Ferra focused more on Aurora's aura, and quickly began to notice something missing. She wasn't quite sure what, though it was likely that the missing piece was in plain sight.
