"What are you scared?" Mako asked smirking at him. He did have to admit that it was quite chilly. He thought about starting a fire and sitting in front of it for a bit.

Jay looked around the room, his eyes landing on the wolf. He held out his hands and make clicking sounds, like you do when calling to a dog, "This your dog?"

Jay quickly pulled his hand back, looking a little worried, "Really? Why would a wild animal be walking around in here?" He kept his eyes on Catori, wondering if she might attack or bite. What if she had rabies?

Catori was tempted to talk in front of the boys, to really surprise them. But she still did not fully trust humans, and had no idea how they might react.

Mako could tell this was no ordinary wolf. "Perhaps, he or she is someone's pet or guard wolf." He said. Mako has met his fair share of magical creatures and could figure out ones that were magical and which weren't.

Jay shook his head in disbelief, "What kind of person keeps a wolf around like that? What if it turned on you?" He just couldn't see any sense in having something around that was so dangerous. [poor Jay has a lot to learn. Lol.]

Catori wasn't an ordinary wolf, but she was neither dangerous nor magical. (All animals can talk when around the castle. They're not necessarily smarter though.) She wasn't really a pet, either. More of a companion. Jay's nonsensical talk seemed to offend her deeply and, with a snort, she skirted around the two boys and disappeared around a corner.

Jay jumped back as the wolf went by, and motioned with his thumb in a certain direction, "Somewhere that way. I live in a house just off of Busby road. I went into the woods to practice for a play - I mean, well, football. I was practicing and walking around, and got lost. I ended up here." He shrugged, still believing himself to be in Ohio.

They're not for everybody, but a lot of people keep them with other animals and don't have any trouble. They're nothing like having a dog, though. Extremely difficult for most people. I've always wanted some sort of exotic pet, and I'm thinking about getting a gray fox at some point. I've done extensive research on them, and they're totally legal where I'm moving to.) |

Sasha had found his way into the kitchen of the castle and was busy carving off his part for the creature he helped take down.First, though he had to carefully skin the thing of its fur. He did not waste any part of an animal finding that distasteful and rude to the creature that he killed. Once he had that all done he stopped and pulled off the shirt he was wearing and allowed his magic to relax enough that his bright red wings appeared out of nowhere and rested on his back before he got to work.

Jay looked increasingly freaked out by the minute, "I didn't wander that far... I couldn't have." He kept mumbling lots of nonsense and reassuring himself he wasn't crazy, "I...I think I need to sit down." He took a shaky few steps over and sat down on a bench and stared at the floor like the answer was written there.
