One of the potions was a dazzling gold and bronze color, and seemed to swirl around with a life of its own.
Aura plopped down in the floor by the box. She stared at its contents with a curious expression, but refrained from touching anything. She knew from experience that shiny, sparkly stuff wasn't necessarily fun or safe.
Several minutes after the two of them began their hunt, there was a scurrying sound somewhere to the left. A moment later, a furry brown rabbit poked its head out of some bushes.
Pandora glanced up at Bell to see if she'd spotted it.

"Not everyone can step the boundaries of time like you."  Morgan looked at the gold and bronze potion, curious on what it caused. She looks up to see if she could spot someone close by to trick into testing it.
Bell looked at the rabbit and didn't bother with looking at Pan. Instead she quietly shifted her grip on her scythe before swinging it down onto the rabbit. |

Aura gave a squeaky little yawn and lay down where she sat. She watched Morgan out of the corner of her eye, curious as to what she was going to do with the bottle of sparkly stuff.
Pandora made a sound of delight as the rabbit met its demise, "That was great!" Without further ado, she jumped down from Bell's shoulder and ambled over to the animal. She started to reach for her pocket, when she suddenly remembered. Oh... shoot... stupid cat form... Her look was one of dismay as she extended a paw in front of her and examined it, "Where even did my knife and clothes go? Some pocket dimension?" She mused outloud to herself.

Bell shrugged not knowing the answer to Pan's question. "Just tell me what to do. Unless you want to try doing it with those tiny kitten claws." She said smiling a little. |

The next potion bottle was equally just as sparkly, but this one was magenta colored and smelled vaguely of raspberries.
Aura made a quiet whine of protest. She had a bad feeling about the potions.
Pandora growled and grumbled, but eventually relented, "Fine..." In a low voice, she informed Bell that she required one particular part from the animal. Specifically, the heart.

Bell nodded and followed what she was told. "This isn't as bad as you made it out to be. I've dealt with weirder."
She said as she practically tore the rabbit apart. |

Aura just looked at Morgan and tilted her head. She'd heard that particular question before, but couldn't comprehend what it meant. As she glanced at the potion, her expression turned to one of nervousness. (Just remembered that Aura's dad was a potion maker.)
Pandora was unfazed as Bell dismembered the animal, but she seemed surprised by what Bell said, "'Isn't as bad'? Well, that's a first." She chuckled darkly. Her required diet made most people at least a little squeamish.

"Not everyone can step the boundaries of time like you." Morgan blinked and looked at Aura. 'Your father was a two-legger?' She thought slightly confused and put the magenta potion back in the box before grabbing another one out to look at it.
"Pan, I dated a guy who ate souls. And I have literally fought to survive countless times." Bell said and smiled as she got the heart out. |

Aura wasn't surprised that Morgan was able to glean such information from her. She hardly knew her father, having only seen him a couple of times, and didn't realize who he was at the time. He was an elf, but also a werewolf and a shapeshifter, whose main occupation was that of a potions maker. The second time she'd seen him, he was in his wolf form with a solid black pelt. Her mother was also a werewolf, but one that was half human and half elf; her pelt was nearly as pale as Aura's. She'd never seen her mother in her human form.
Pandora would have shrugged if she'd had human shoulders to do so, "Yeah yeah. I've known of people like that, too." In a way, she was thankful her diet didn't require anything like that, or the same as vampires. Pandora had it easy; she could subsist on animals. It made it much easier to hide whenever she had to mingle with ordinary people. She was also thankful that her eyes weren't black all the time, like other members of her kind. The kitten watched Bell as she removed the part from the animal. She hoped she wouldn't just toss it on the ground for her. She might look like an animal at the moment, but Pandora still refused to eat off the ground like one.

Morgan tilted her head wondering what Aura would actually look like as a human and briefly entertained the idea that Aura might look like herself if she had been Aura's mother. But she quickly shook part if the idea away because even though she wanted a kid someday she was scared if what might happen to the poor child and was kinda scared of men because of her pass. She shivered and looks at the new bottle in her hand figuring it would be best to not think on the past at least for herself.
"Here you go." Bell said before sitting down while keeping the heart in her hand. She never threw food on the ground. Not even with the strays that she'd feed ever now and again. |

Aura was totally oblivious to Morgan's thoughts, and it was unclear if she'd ever gain any form of telepathy. Both of her parents had the ability, but a lot of Aura's would-be powers were negated with her mutation.
(We can just pause on these two until Cam and Silver are back, since I don't know what else to do with her)
Pandora made a face, "You expect me to eat out of your hand? I'm not a real cat, you know." She also didn't especially like for anyone to watch her eat.

Pandora made a sound of frustration, "Couldn't we just take it back and put it on a plate?" She hated not being able to feed herself the way she normally could. If she ever found that blasted trickster again... Boy, would he catch it. She had more than a few ideas for payback.

It kind of kills me a little how well I relate with some of the characters here XD)
Pandora shot another glare at her, but the angry expression slowly wavered. With a defeated sigh, she finally relented and ate her meal without further complaint. When she was done, she turned her back and clean her face and paws, all the while thinking of the horrible things she'd like to do to the trickster in retaliation.

Pandora suddenly felt herself growing sleepy, as she always did immediately after eating. She might have yawned if she actually needed to breathe. With a glance at Bell, she slowly started back the way they came, "Ugh. I need a nap..."

Pandora continued to struggle, but when Bell didn't relinquish her hold, the feline gave up and went limp. She made a face at the part about being called 'friend'. But although she disagreed, she wasn't in the mood to argue about it.
There was a deep rumbling sound akin to an explosion somewhere along the horizon. A large, black triangle shaped Arcanian ship had just re-entered into the Otherworld and was quickly speeding through the sky over the forest. Aurora and the others were finally on their way back.
(I actually heard two sounds similar to that earlier in the night. The second one shook the house and my mom made me come back inside. Still don't know what it was, but the dogs went bonkers.)

(It was probably either explosions or meteors. The latter has happened plenty of times.)
Pandora hardly reacted to the sound. Her meals always made her excessively sleepy and she had only a few minutes afterwards to find a safe, undisturbed place to sleep before she went totally out for the next several hours.
Icarus found a large clearing a couple of miles south of the castle. What he didn't notice, however, was the silver and green RV that was already parked in the open area. The aircraft was now hovering silently above the meadow, and as Icarus attempted to land it, the wing nearly tipped the RV over.
Inside the RV? Complete and total chaos. Hannah had only taken one look out the window and assumed it was aliens. She was now debating whether or not it was feasible to carry her unconscious cousin and her dog and try to escape, or wait it out and hope the 'aliens' weren't in the mood to abduct anyone. Her concern for her relative and pet won out in the end. She retrieved a small handgun and a katana and sat motionless by the door while her dog cowered under the bed.

Pandora was completely asleep within minutes. Her eyes had rolled back in her head partially, and the tip of her tongue stuck out, not unlike some regular cats when they sleep. (I wonder what they'd do if she shot at the ship...  ...naw) As Aurora -- presumably with some of the others (*cough*Alfonse*cough*) started to unboard the ship, Peter made an attempt to follow, but a strong hand suddenly seized him by the shoulder. "Where do you think you're going?" "Back with them? To the castle? It's kind of where I live now..." Icarus pulled him away so the others hopefully wouldn't overhear, "Not anymore." He whispered sharply. The younger boy's face fell but he knew it would do no good to argue. Maybe with time he could at least persuade his brother to let him go back and visit. With the expression he was getting, Peter feared that Icarus was going to play the over-protective older brother; the super annoying kind. |

"Not everyone can step the boundaries of time like you." El, who had to get lots of layers on since it was daytime still, stopped behind Icarus and Peter. "And where do you plan to go with him? Do you know of a place where he could adjust without the help of those here? Do you have a place where you could keep him safe from those who'd try to kill him?" She said in a snappy tone and crossed her arms to wait for a reply.
Bell walked carefully even though she was pretty sure a monster attack wouldn't even be able to wake her up right now.
Raja chuckled and patted his shoulder to asked if Ori wanted to ride on it. He faintly smiled remembering a person that he briefly knew back on his home world that was deaf. |
