The tom entered the nursery, carrying the water carefully in his jaws. Upon settling himself down next to his mate, he set the water down; wincing as a few drops hit one of the she-kits. "Drink." He murmured, nuzzling his mate's cheek, noting her tired eyes. Affection grew for the kits as his gaze swept over them, making sure all of them were safely curled up or eating.

Mistykit stumbled over towards her mothers stomach, finding what she was looking for with triumph. Determination boiled through the smaller she-cats veins, despite her smaller size. |

✒[ ahhh I just accidentally deleted my reply for a third time ] [ Creekkit ] Creekkit squeaked indignantly as he ran into his sister, Mistykit. He squirmed his way past her, now more determined to find his mother. He bumped into something much larger than him, but decided that it was a time to rest and curled up against the large paws of his father, unable to tell the difference between his father and mother. [ Foxlight ] Foxlight padded back into camp, her mind swirling after the discovery of the fox's dead body. She flickered her ear as she heard another cat and saw Badgerstripe hurriedly enter the nursery. Foxlight frowned and glanced at Redfur, who was in the shade. "What's going on?" Foxlight asked, her fur prickling with unease. Her mind was crammed full of the previous fox attacks, so much that she had forgotten that Honeystep's kits were due. Template made by Gengar ♀ |

Redfur's whiskers twitched with weariness and he barely had any time to notice Foxlight, who was approaching him, before lifting his head so suddenly that his fur prickled with uneasiness. He took a moment to register her question. "Honeystep had her kits." He mumbled giving his chest fur a quick lick. "I'm quite surprised that you didn't know." He paused to sit up. "I thought all she-cats had something in common." He lightly bumped her shoulder with a paw, emphasizing the lame joke.

Mistykit gave a mewl of protest in response and tumbled head over tail, landing on her back with a small thud. She wriggled her way back onto her paws, carefully crawling over towards her mothers warm stomach.
| Badgerstripe |
Badgerstripe's fur bristled as an unknowing feeling of love made his heart flutter. He bent his head down, giving Creekkit a gentle lick on the tufts of fur that he had.
"He'll grow up in the best way. As will all of the other kits of ours." He murmured, lifting his head again to nuzzle Honeystep. He was planning on hunting, but now that Creekkit had decided to cuddle in his paws; he remained where he was, carefully settling himself down to curl up around his mate. He gently moved Creekkit closer to his body, resting his tail on the small kit. |

✒[ Foxlight ] Foxlight laughed at Redfur's joke, despite it being lame. She wasn't quite sure why she found it so humorous, she supposed it was just the right timing. "Yeah, sorry to break it to you, but unfortunately we can't telepathically communicate these things yet," she said lightly, her voice teasing in nature.
[ Creekkit ]
Creekkit purred gently as he was nestled inbetween Honeystep and Badgerstripe as Badgerstripe re-positioned himself. Creekkit slowly began to drift off, his purring didn't stop until a few moments after he had already fallen asleep.

He shifted his weight, scooting closer towards the maple tree, tail flicking the ground next to him. "I could use the company if your up for it." He flashed her a smirk. |

She looked back at Redfur with mild surprise as he asked her to sit with him. She rolled her eyes at his smirk, but smiled. "Sounds nice," Foxlight said. Redfur couldn't help but admire Foxlight, she wasn't just all looks; she had personality. On the other paw, he couldn't help but feel guilty for thinking of her that way. "Do you ever wonder what its like to have kits of your own?" He murmured, shifting his gaze to the tendrils of grass in front of his paws.

Foxlight looked up suddenly at Redfur's question, surprised. She glanced at him out of the corner of her eye, evaluating his expression before dropping her gaze to the grass in front of her. She shrugged. "I prefer not to," She murmured. She sighed. "I know that's strange, half the she-cats in camp are already planning on little ones but... I get antsy from staying in camp for a day, I couldn't... I couldn't imagine having to stay in camp for moons, and then-then constantly worrying about the kits?" She shivered. She hated being out of control, she simply couldn't imagine being grounded so suddenly to the camp for so long. She shook her head and offered him a shaky smile. "How about you? Redfur scoffed ar her comment, taken by surprise. "Actually, kits aren't my favorite. Some cats might remember the time I got into arguments with an apprentice." He muttered, a touch of embarrassment in his tone. "I don't want kits, well at least maybe until I get over the fact of miniature me's running around." He puffed out his chest fur, acting with fake boastfulness.

✒[ Foxlight ] Foxlight snickered at the mention of his argument with the apprentice, she didn't clearly remember why they were arguing, but she remembered being annoyed with them both. Foxlight at the time hadn't liked apprentices much, then she was terrified of having to train one. Foxlight had gotten over that phobia, now she was eased at the thought of it since she now was more comfortable asking other warriors for help.
"Mini yous?" Foxlight asked with a soft chuckle. "That would take some getting used to," she said before lightly flicking her tail against his shoulder to show she was only joking. "One of you is plenty." Template made by Gengar ♀ |

Redfur scoffed again, narrowing his eyes with fake hatred. "You just insulted me." He said, letting the words roll out with a question like tone. "Well, I don't see why an insult from a she-cat can hurt." He smirked, brushing it off with ease although his fur prickled. "One of me is plenty. Thats the first i've heard of that one." He murmured, a purr waiting to emit.

✒[ Foxlight ] "Sorry if I got under your fur," Foxlight teased. She noticed his eyes narrow, and for a moment was worried she had gone to far. Then she realized it was fake. "Is it?" Foxlight asked, mildly surprised. She spoke again a moment later, her wits having abandoned her briefly. "Sorry I didn't want to be the first to tell you," She said with a smile.

 | Honeystep | The queen felt her heart burst as she looked down at her four kits. Purring, she licked Badgerstripe's cheek before she began to clean Mistykit with the strong rasps of her tounge. "Mistykit won't even be able to see her fathers face.." She sighed looking at her mate, Honeystep's eyes were filled with emotion, love and greif. | Mintkit | Mintkit squeaked as she lay, stretched out asleep in the nest. Her tiny legs were sprawled out in every direction, as though she was bathing in the sun. | Stormfire | "Should we head back?" Stormfire asked Lilyfrost, nuzzling his mate. He didn't want to be gone from camp too long, as Stormfire is afraid the fox might return. |

Redfur's mouth gaped slightly, taken aback with fake hurt. "You'll regret that." He almost had a sing song tone, hidden in his tom tone. "Kitty." He looked at her expectantly as if that was her name, taunting her lowly. "Actually, I haven't been able to sharpen my claws on something for a while."

Badgerstripe stopped purring for a brief second, studying Mistykit. "She may not be able to see, but she'll be just as loved." He murmured, giving his mate a reassuring muzzle lick.

Redfur's face lit up with heat as she unintentionally insulted him. He mumbled something before forcing his heated self to relax, he was more relaxed than usual and it made him uncomfortable and insecure. "Well Kitten, I don't have a problem with apprentices anymore." He retorted, glaring playful daggers into her back as she walked away. |

✒[ Foxlight ] Foxlight watched him curiously. He seemed genuinely mad, and that contradicted everything he said. She picked up two mice and headed back to the shade where he was. She sat one by him and took a small bite of hers.
"You know that wasn't what I meant," Foxlight said softly. "I'm sorry, that was a dumb move." She paused for a moment, a question perched on the tip of her tongue. Redfur emitted a low purr of amusement, his tail flicking behind himself sharply with each flick. "I never said I was upset by what you said." He shrugged, meeting her gaze once she had sat down. "It's just me." He purred softly. "Apprentices on the other hand--" He paused, glancing towards the log. "Lets just say i'm not the smartest cat of the clan." He forced a cocky grin, flicking one ear backwards for a brief second.

Badgerstripe couldn't agree more, a funny fluttering feeling emitted inside of his chest; it was the same feeling that occured when he had met Honeystep. He couldn't resist the urge to start purring again, gently moving his paw to reposition Mistykit.

✒ [ Foxlight ] Foxlight smiled hesitantly, flicking her tail of her paws. "Good to hear, it feels like half of our warriors are the exact opposite... too intelligent for their own good," Foxlight said. "At least you're all fluff," She said lightly. She wasn't entirely sure if this was meant to be teasing, when it first slipped off her tongue that was her only thought, but... it wasn't really a bad thing. A lot of the warriors in camp were a bit too intimidating for Foxlight's taste, too good at hunting and diplomacy. It was nice to see another warrior struggling just as much as she was.
