"Blue! Blue is a great color,"Juliette grinned. She listened more intently as he spoke of his interests, peeking up at videogames. "Videogames? That's not lame. I haven't played any videogames in the longest time. I'd love too play,"she breathed, a small pout forming on her lips. She had good memories of playing with her brother when they were kids. Ofcourse, soon she had to act her role and be more responsible. Which led to her not getting to do other things. "Really?" Branson said warily. Then he decided to trust her and added, "Well you know, they have a pretty great set up here. We could play some time." He smiled a shy smile and looked at her. It would be pretty awesome if the girl that he had asked to the dance ended up being his player 2. He would really enjoy someone who thought that video games were a positive activity.

"Sure," Levi responded, offering her his arm before leading her towards the food and drink tables. He glanced back at her every so often, admiring how beautiful she looked while trying not to get caught doing it. Levi tried not to think about how disheveled his appearance might have become while dancing, as thinking about it too much might make him uncomfortable enough to go fix it, and he didn't want to abandon his date. That was just rude.

Emma smiles gratefully and accepts his outstretched arm. He was behaving like quite the gentleman. She was very happy that she had shot down Sal as she knew very well he would not have been this kinda. Not that she hated the guy, she just had had enough of those type of men in her life to last forever. She smiles at her date as they make there way over to the drinks table. There is a punch fountain and also water bottles, sparkling water, and various sodas. She looks around at the choices before choosing a sparkling water of the flavor raspberry. She twists off the lid and takes a sip. The absence of fine china was welcomes. Nothing like stressing over the glass you're drinking from at a party. ugh.

Levi returned her smile, then took a bottle of water for himself. He leaned casually against the drink table, still smiling at her. "Have you ever been to a dance like this one before? I can't say that I have, I spent more time home schooled with private tutors than in schools with dances," Levi said, looking around the room again. The number of other dance goers had slightly increased, though he still didn't think the entire school was there yet.

"Nope, just the very formal ones that all royalty seem to be required to attend. I like how laid back this is." Emma said answering his question. She tucked a loose strand of hair behind her ear and then proceeded to take another sip from her drink. It was a it warm in the ballroom so began to fan herself a bit with her hand without really noticing she was doing it.

"It is nice to not have all the expectations of the formal balls," Levi looked back at Emma, still smiling. He drank more of his water, the bottle already halfway empty. Levi barely noticed the heat, used to living in the hotter regions of New Zealand.

Emma nodded in agreement and then lead the way to a nearby table where she set down her drink. Then she proceeded pull out a chair and sit down. "So what brought you here exactly? The chance at a semi-normal school atmosphere, your parents, or just a chance to get away from the home country?" She asked staring a somewhat deeper conversation. She wanted to know his background and reasoning system.

'Probably,' Cain warily replied, smiling slightly. 'Most of them are short-haired though, so they wouldn't set you off too badly.' He smiled at him, examining him slightly, before hesitantly reaching up to brush a stray strand of hair from the man's face, dropping his hand after and shyly turning his attention to the room instead. OOC Text ICMax honestly wasn't sure what else to add, so he just gave a small laugh as he tried to think about it. "Well then, maybe it'll be worth it to visit Greece sometime," he decided as he looked out over to the dance floor, more people were dancing now, though it still wasn't his thing...Most things that required balance weren't though, so it wasn't like he was singling out dancing in specifics.

'So... are you first in line for the throne? The crown prince?' Cain curiously asked, looking over at the Belgian. 'I'm the crown prince by about an hour. Aila took her time.' He said, grinning. 'Ma says that Aila was more painful than me.' He glanced over at the dancers as well, a little wistful that he couldn't join them, but enjoying Maxi's company.

IC Max shook his head, glancing down at his shoes. "No, I'm the fourth in line for the thrown. My brother: Liam, in the crown prince. Then it's his son: Ivan, then my sister: Lina, and then it's me," he explained, sending Cain a smile. "That's pretty cool that you're the crown prince though, I don't think I could ever really be king, sounds like a lot of responsibilities."

'I don't think I'll make a good king; but I think I'll do better than Aila would. I'm more down to earth, I suppose.'

IC Max nudged him slightly with his arm. "I bet you'll make a great king one day," he told him, giving him an all too optimistic grin, that made it very clear Maxi believed every word he had said, and he really did, because he liked to believe in people and he could see Cain being a great king when he was older, and it wasn't like he had to be king right now, he had time.

Cain smiled, evidently not believing him. 'Sure.' He said, tucking his hands into his pockets. 'I don't think so, but if other people do, then... that's good enough for me, I suppose. I just want to do good for my country.' He sighed, glancing down at Maxi. 'You're lucky.'

Levi joined her at the table, then looked down at where his hands lay on the table as she asked her question. He was very tempted to share his true reason, but if it ever got out it would destroy his carefully crafted image. Then, he looked back up at her and smiled slightly, making a decision. "It's a reason you can't tell anyone, okay? I'm serious, this isn't something I'm supposed to tell people." Levi said, looking Emma dead in the eye. Then he continued. "Like I said, I was homeschooled for a long time. I didn't have any siblings or cousin my age, or many chances to make friends. When I got older, the isolation of my childhood had caused some problems. So I took communication classes. They were disguised as tutoring to make me better at public speaking, necessary deception, and networking. But they were really to help me be more comfortable with talking to anyone, to keep me from messing up conversations, to make me seem more composed and appropriately royal. I came here to practice, to make sure they worked in a place that was further away from the public eye than my home country." Levi had been looking at his hands as he talked, but he looked back up at Emma again as he finished, the same open and unguarded look on his face as when he was dancing earlier. He's just told her something he'd never told anyone outside of his family, and part of him was scared he'd made the wrong decision.
(Sorry this is so long and so late. I didn't want to cut his response, and I didn't get a chance to type it till not because I was at a practice.)

I had to go to class anyways. )) Emma listened very carefully the whole time. She made eye contact and didn't cross her arms in an attempt to seem more open and understanding. She was really surprised that he would open up like that and she wanted to encourage that. So many time people just keep everything inside and perhaps the world would just be a better place if we let people see our weaknesses. She really respected him for spilling his reason in the whole of truth. She smiles as him shyly and then says after he is finished, " So you came here to better yourself for the sake of your country? That's really responsible of you. I am guessing it must be a bit stressful and uncomfortable? I really appreciate you telling me all this." She used all the steps of empathy that she had learned in psychology class in an attempt to make him feel heard and understood.

"I can't rule if I can't even talk for or to my people. Sacrificing my comfort and stress now saves me those same sacrifices in larger amounts later." Levi said with a shrug. He'd picked up on what Emma was doing, but in an effort to remain open, he was allowing him self to be comforted by it instead of analyzing her actions. "But enough about me," he added, brushing of the conversation. "Would you like to tell me your reason for attending the school? I can't image it's quite as personal as my own." Levi asked, smiling confidently at her again. He was worried he'd scared her with his candor, but he wasn't going to show it. So he pushed on with the conversation, ignoring his own worry.

IC Max smiled back at him. "Well then it's definitely worth the visit," he decided, looking at Cain carefully. He was really bad at reading social cues, or people in general, so shyness was sort of lost on him. "You enjoying the dance so far?" He asked, looking over at the room, focusing more on the decorations than the actual dancing people. They really did a magnificent job with the decor.

IC "Ha, yes that would be rather fun. If it was spiked, someone will probably do it," Max agreed, sending a quick look over to the lunch bowl just to see if someone was spiking it right then and there...which was a no, by the way. "Really I expected things to get a bit more wild, but everything has been very tame so far," Maxi added once he looked away from the punch bowl and back to the room.

He then asked, tilting his head a little bit, knowing he couldn't dance, and their conversation was starting to run just a little dry, which was unfortunate- he was enjoying talking to his date, and didn't particularly want things to turn awkward.
