IC Alistair couldn't help but smile, giving her a reassuring, crooked smile. "Kinda sounded like an apology, and I can accept that. Of course it doesn't excuse your actions, we're all under a lot of stress here, wether it's from being in a new group or plenty of other things," he told her firmly, since though Alistair was a pretty accepting guy who didn't usually hold grudges against people, he also wasn't one to let people get away with rude behavior and had no problem telling people off, if it came to it.

[siva align="center"]Belle shrugged, trying to be nonchalant about his comment. It was the best excuse she's got, so he would have to take it or leave it. She let a small smile come across her face though to hopefully keep the mood light. "I'm kind of surprised I'm still getting weird looks from the others. Guess they didn't like my first impression with all of the walker entrails and blood on my clothes." She was implying when the group first found her. She had just recently got through a hoarded of walkers using the blood and guts to disguise her scent - they can smell you if you close enough. One of them nearly killed her, thinking she was one of them.

IC You'll have to forgive Alistair, he's incredibly dense. "Well, you probably did look a bit gruesome with all the blood, it's easy to get freaked out by that. Maybe people look at you and still only see you like the first time, covered in blood and all," he suggested, mentally counting how much longer they likely had before their shift ended and he could go back to the others.

"It certainly won't be the last time they see me like that. You have to do what you have to do sometimes." She changed her tone to something more inquisitive, "speaking of which, you do know why I did that don't you?" Belle knew there were certain key things that this group has not learned yet, like searching walkers for anything useful. Or certain tactics that could help later on, but this one she hadn't heard anyone mention, so she was unsure whether they knew or not.

IC Alistair gave her a blank stare. "...did what?" He was lost, why she was covered in blood? Why she killed a zombie? Why she was sort of hard to get along with? Alistair didn't know what she was talking about. Like previously stated, he is a very dense man, who also happens to need things bluntly told to him or else he isn't gonna put the pieces together.

Belle shook her head, "Nevermind, you people will figure it out I'm sure." As if on cue the leader of the group, Lee came out of the gas station. Lee was a tall man, at least 6'4", dark, and muscular. He seemed to have this stare and air about him that everyone is intimidated and or feel respect for him. Belle figured he was the leader right off the bat. He waved up at Belle and Alistair, "Friesenhahn, Alistair, your shift is over now." He told them before going back inside, most likely to get more people out for the next watch. Belle was slightly relieved, but was hoping to stay out more. She wanted to earn her keep.

IC Alistair visibly relaxed once he was told he shift was over, though he stuck around to wait for their replacements to come, greeting them friendily before he looked over at Belle. "Well, it was nice keeping look out with you," he told her, slowly inching to the inside though, he was sure he could find someone to talk to in there, help out in some way, see he really liked to keep himself busy.

Belle gave a small wave of acknowledgement to his comment. She wasn't sure if it was genuine or not, but it didn't really matter in her opinion. She needed to do something anyway. Belle didn't go inside just yet, instead she went to the walker that she had taken out by the front and grabbed it by the arms. She hauled it off to the bushes by the gas station, and hid it underneath the foliage. If anyone had seen a dead walker in front of the gas station, they would know that people were there, and may just follow a couple leads to get to them. Belle had lost and killed too many people to have them be followed by some crooks. Belle wiped her hands off on her clothes, which already had dried blood on them anyway, before heading back inside.
{Skip? I have an idea}
