𝕊’𝕞𝕠𝕣𝕖 (Alrighty. It's not the best, but starters aren't my favorite x3) Henry had some free time, so he'd decided to go grab something to eat. After hours of painting (for a customer he had waiting), he'd finally finished, and a day early! The dark-haired male smiled as he recalled the pack of wolves streaking across the snowy land, looking powerful even in their inanimate state as they claimed the land. His smile stayed as he walked into the restaurant. A friend of his had recommended it to him a few days ago, so he'd decided to try it out. Moving to find a seat, he waited for someone to come tend to him. The shy young man kept to himself, taking out a book of blank pages so he could draw to occupy himself. Taking out a pencil, he went still for a moment as he considered what to draw. More wolves? A lion? Maybe a dragon? He enjoyed drawing and painting mythical creatures, even though there weren't many that would buy them off of him. Sighing softly, he began to draw. Henry decided on a tiger, just as a waiter came up to take his drink request. OOC Text ICA waiter wasn't his preferred job. However it would have to do, since he needed money and this at least helped him out with that, however all the same, Alistair couldn't wait until he could get himself a new job...hey at least it was a good enough cover for work, and it wasn't like he could stay as a wolf forever. Anyways he was just around taking orders, when he went over to the next table in question, where it looked like a guy was considering what to draw. "Excuse me, can I take your order?" He asked politely, a smile on his face. Maybe Alistair hated his job, that didn't mean he wasn't going to give it his all. He gave 100% to anything he was doing.

𝕊’𝕞𝕠𝕣𝕖 Henry looked up from his drawing, already having a beautiful eye created on his paper. He always started with the eyes. He managed a smile, looking up at Alistair to acknowledge him. It was a good thing he'd decided on what he wanted before drawing. And so he said "Yeah, I'll have the roasted salmon and a water please." Simple and short, because he knew some waiters and waitresses grew salty with people who had orders worthy of twenty families. With that, he gathered his menu and returned it to Alistair before going back to his drawing. It wasn't like they knew each other, so no conversation necessarily need to be exchanged.

IC Alistair nodded, clicking his pen and writing it down on the little notebook he had with him. "Of course, anything else or will that be it?" He asked cheerfully, like he said before, just because he truly, utterly, despised his job, he would still do it with a smile on his face and a cheerful attitude. Alistair would admit though, he was kind of curious as to what he was drawing, creativity had always intrigued him, as he was a writer himself, but really he couldn't draw to save his life, it made art so much more interesting.

"No, that's all," Henry decided, nodding once. He took a moment to notice that Alistair had looked at his drawing, if even for a moment. He blinked a few times before saying "It'll eventually look like a tiger." After, he returned to his drawing, starting to spread from the eye to form the head. Drawing and painting, more so painting, was what made him his money. And he enjoyed every moment of his "job", unlike Alistair the secretly unhappy waiter. If Henry knew that Alistair despised his job, he'd probably lecture him on how he should try to get a job doing something that at least didn't make him so unhappy. Not that he necessarily looked it, Henry tended to be everyone's cheerleader.

IC Alistair smiled slightly. "Well it looks good to far, do you often draw animals?" He asked, forgetting that really he should just be serving him and moving on, not striking up a conversation with the customer, but well...Alistair couldn't resist at least being sociable with the customers, he liked to think it offered up a kinder, nicer, and more friendly and welcoming environment for them, which in turn made them want to come back. His boss didn't see it that way though.

𝕊’𝕞𝕠𝕣𝕖"I draw whatever someone requests," Henry answered with a small smile "If a lot of people want animals, then I draw a lot of animals." His art was so great, that people would request literally anything, just to see the good detail. Take it how you will. "Do you draw?" He asked Alistair a little curiously. Henry didn't mind talking to others if they didn't give off any bad vibes. Especially if they showed even a little interest in his work. Even though it was the first time Henry and Alistair ever saw each other, Henry was as friendly as ever, whether he would've had his art with him or not. Not able to just talk to others would drive him mad. He was like a puppy, needing to be around others to show how friendly he could be.

IC Alistair instantly shook his head. "No, I have tried. But let's just say that I'm not very good at it," he explained with a sheepish smile, bringing a hand up to rub the back of his neck. "However, I do write. I kind of hope to publish my story someday, once it's done at least," he added, sending him a warm, friendly smile. He was far from done yet, however he was getting closer. It was just hard to focus on writing when you had work and uh...the whole werewolf thing to deal with.

𝕊’𝕞𝕠𝕣𝕖"A writer. At least you have the better half of imagination," Henry decided "I like to describe through visuals instead of words." When Alistair mentioned his story, he tilted his head slightly in his curiosity, saying with a smile still "If you think it's worthy of being published, then it must be good. What're you writing about, if it's my place to ask?" Henry liked to read more than write stories, and enjoyed discussing such. He had a friend who published a trilogy about the zombie apocalypse. Quite the journey writing it, Henry was told. "Unlike a writer such as yourself," he added "I'm not blessed in writing an entire world."

IC Most people didn't ask about his writing, which was a real shame as Alistair loved to talk about it. "Well, I haven't gotten a lot o fit figured out yet, I'm sort of just writing it as I go and see where it takes me. However it's in a fantasy world, that follows along the storyline of a young pirate named Barnaby as he travels to far away lands, get's involved with mer folk, royalty, and other creatures along the way, I've written some other short stories, but they were all when I was younger, I just wish I had more time for writing," he explained, giving a brief summary of what he had so far.

𝕊’𝕞𝕠𝕣𝕖"It already sounds interesting," Henry said, eyes bright "I'd definitely read it if you ever publish it!" He was always a sucker for anything fantasy or pirate related. Both in one story? He mentally squealed at the idea. Looking up at Alistair, he said simply "If you want time for something, you make it. It's just a matter of how you arrange your other tasks, I suppose." If Henry wanted to do something, he made time for it. Simple as that. "I can't say much about anything you do though, except that I hope you get more opportunities to work on your writing!" He'd been about to say something else, but paused when his stomach snarled loudly, interrupting their conversation. Cheeks turning red, he gave an almost apologetic look to Alistair before finding sudden interest in his drawing again.

IC Alistair had been enjoying the conversation, especially since it had turned to his writing, however once Henry's stomach started to growl, realization seemed to wash over his face that he was here to work and the poor man was hungry. "Right! Your meal! I'm so sorry, I just got caught up in the conversation...I'll go give your order back so you can actually eat," he said quickly, turning to head back, shaking his head at himself. "This will not look good for the boss..." he muttered under his breath. He was here to work and earn money, not to make friends.

𝕊’𝕞𝕠𝕣𝕖Henry frowned slightly when Alistair left to actually submit his order. It had been such a nice little conversation. Yet, the artist shouldn't expect too much. It was most likely a one time chat sort of thing between employee and customer. Going back to his drawing, Henry started drawing some stripes on the head, brows bent as he worked. As he waited for his order to show up, Henry developed a pattern of drawing for a minute and then lapsing into boredom so great that he'd rest his head on the table and look depressed (even though he wasn't.) Sitting up again, he set his art aside and just sat back. He couldn't piece it together yet, but he simply wanted to continue talking to the waiter who was tending to him. Unfinished conversations never really were satisfying to him.

𝕊’𝕞𝕠𝕣𝕖(A shame I see fit in saying this, but I truly an considering putting this rp to rest. You've been active, rp or not, on a handful of other threads, near every day, compared to one post here every four or five. I'm once again going to ask of your interest in this? Unless it really is true that it's list in bookmarks, or notifications or whatever, I assume you simply don't have enough muse for this to reply more frequently?)

OOC Okay true, I have honestly been really awful with this roleplay and it sorta makes me feel bad, but I either don't have muse enough to give you good replies (which you deserve, I don't wanna give you crap posts) or I forget because honestly I am a very forgetful person and I can totally understand being annoyed at me because of it, because yeah, I've been pretty awful here. That's all totally on me.
