Muse A and Muse B meet at an end of summer camp and have a summer romance. Muse B goes to school the next day only to run into Muse A again after their fling...the only problem? Muse B is in a long term committed relationship with Muse C
Muse A and Muse B have been together for as long as anyone can remember. Feeling the sparks finally start to dwindle they make a change: continue to see each other and date other people, how will it work?
Muse A and Muse B have always been team captains on rival school sports teams. However, thanks to redistricting, they find themselves having to play on the same team for their senior year.
When Muse A is having trouble at home Muse B, a classmate, offers to let them stay at their house for a little while...only what will Muse B’s parents do when they find out their new house guest is dating their child?
Muse A needs/wants some quick cash and readily accepts when their friend dare them to ask out Muse B. The only problem? Muse A starts to actually fall for Muse B...but Muse B has no idea about Muse A’s original intentions.
When muse a, a star athlete in their senior year, gets injured during the first game of the season, their future in professional sports is jeopardized; muse a must lean on muse b, their significant other, for support as they try to recover from this frustrating setback.
As a health class assignment, students are required to take care of a baby simulator for 3 weeks. The teacher doesn’t give the students a choice of partners, instead pairing them up at random. Much to Muse A’s dismay, they’re matched up with Muse B, someone they absolutely can’t stand. Muse B isn’t pleased about it either, since they feel the same way about Muse A. Every decision they make as fake parents is a struggle from the very beginning, particularly scheduling who takes care of the baby when and for how long. Muse A and Muse B are forced to compromise and spend time together with the baby for the sake of the project, which requires cooperative decision-making and documentation of their progress. Over the course of the project, Muse A and Muse B start to realize that their partner isn’t as horrible as they once thought. They’re actually kind of fun to be around, even given the circumstances. What will happen to their budding relationship once the project comes to an end?

Well, the type of people Kahil hangs around definitely wouldn't approve of such a soft girl. The ones who incited the bet to begin with. So he's gonna have to navigate these feelings he's never had before while still pretending he doesn't give a flip about her in front of his friends. he's also got an anger management disorder so that'll cause uh. problems. this is just gonna be bad and cute but also bad

IED is an interesting disorder. I read a case study on it, it was psychologically fascinating to hear the inside of the man's mind.

Yeah. I actually was thinking of giving Timothy Bipolar I or II Disorder. However, Mania or Hypomania is rather hard to write in context with roleplaying. Because psychologically speaking, going from one post to the next, a Mania doesn't happen on the spot. It could take months to ascend.
Instead, I stuck Timothy with the lustrous MDD (Major Depressive Disorder), GAD (Generalized Anxiety Disorder), Panic Disorder. Schizoid Personality Disorder was considered, but I think since he has the other three I believe DSM-5 would consider the symptoms a MDD, GAD, and Panic Disorder as possible it is 'psychotic features' of MDD or other psychological effects so a trained clinician may void SPD and not treat it. But he very well could have it.
However, that's just my Clinical Psych major looking at a word document and thinking: hmm, according to all my psych training, this is what he probably has and these are what he could have or exhibits symptoms of.

i find it really difficult to do personality disorders justice on here so i try to avoid them my characters are toned way the hell down for this particular forum. i leave a lot of things implied at best and sometimes it's creatively frustrating but i can deal like on the less strict sites, i can get really realistic and tragic with shafer and his dysfunctional family and his budding borderline disorder but here i i don't wanna scare any kiddos :') So instead he's just a bratty teen with really bad impulse control and it doesn't even compare to how i'd like to write him

Same. I mean, I can probably really give all my characters something nasty going on in their heads. But the general ones are easy to write and realistic in a high school setting.

how many characters do you have? and how long has your oldest character been around?

About a dozen. And my oldest character has probably been around since I joined the forums and actively wrote, which was around 2010-ish. Besides writing here and there, though those characters are just, agh. I try not to think of my adolescence writing when I was in middle school. I don't remember their name, admittedly. I know many of my characters combine, separate, gain siblings, etc. Timothy is rather old--I remember his old form on the old forums. I brought him back on a whim to be a sibling to a character I kinda remodeled, James. But he sorta divulged into his own person when I began to write James more.
My newest is Jason, actually. He actually kinda happened when I wrote a new-ish/remodeled character and laughed at myself and said: wow, your characters are always so weirdly boyish and adorable. make someone grittier and more rough around the edges. So yeah.

I used to have twenty five active characters before i realized that i couldn't love them all enough and so i banished nearly all of them (well i pretty much just combined them all) and now i only have five plus one not-at-all-developed one. His name's Thai. He's sad. It's almost hilarious to see how characters change over time. In more recent cases, it's pretty tame. But in others, it's drastic and terrible. Like Shafer used to be some mild-mannered, short-haired, white historian in a pirate universe who was only created to be the levelheaded one and keep his historian friend in check. Now he's. like. you'll see :') and jason is cute and damaged which sucks for him but i already rly appreciate him as a character tbh. i know that 'cute' wasn't the thing you were going for there but i'm sorry jason is rly cute.

And it's funny cause only a handful of characters are actively written down and the others are in my head like: "this seems like a rp that Scotty needs to make an appearance" and things like that.
Its super hilarious. Even though I don't think I made 'My Immortal'-level Mary Sue's. I know one of them probably was and probably now isn't anymore. Watching them gain flaws and loveless. Ah. Like a proud mother.
I just accepted it. Jason is literally a young man who tries to be the cliche definition of 'bad to the bone' but ends up just 'chaoticly neutral to maybe a leg hair'

I need to write down all my characters or else I feel unsettled lmao I also haven't cleaned out my computer's trashed stuff in forever. Like a literal year I'm a mess I know. Anyway I just looked. And there are so many folders of old characters I don't remember making. It's awful, I don't want to be reminded of those poor souls that didn't make it
Also, how do you think Jason's gonna react to being shamelessly hit on by some random guy named Shafer

Well. I know Jason. And he's the type of person who flirts with people when uncomfortable or need to feel a sense of control. He also gets wrong-footed and tongue twisted when they (particularly men) flirt back . So I expect Jason would pause, and the say a pick-up wrong, like: "I think you're lacking in Vitamin C. Wait wait, shoot- me. Lacking in Vitamin me ." And then probably squirts ketchup in his eye because he has no idea what to do.
