Introduction
You wrap your scarf around your neck, checking the watch on your wrist. "Almost time!" A woman exclaims, and you glance over at her beside you on the platform. After a few minutes you load onto the bright red Hogwarts Express with many other children, going with the flow of all the people and getting pushed into a compartment. No one else gets in with you. You take a deep breath and watch as the train begins to move slowly. A rush of excitement hits you. Finally, you are attending Hogwarts, the famous school of witchcraft and wizardry!
Time period
The time period is set in 2003, but in this roleplay Harry Potter, Hermione, Ron, Voldemort, Death Eaters, etc. do not exist. Because of that, this roleplay will have a different plot.
Where Hogwarts is located
Hogwarts is in a remote area of Scotland, and appears just to be ruins when passed by Muggles in their cars.

Hufflepuff values hard work, dedication, patience, loyalty, and fair play. Its emblematic animal is the badger, and Yellow and Black are its colours. Hufflepuff corresponds to the element of earth. The Hufflepuff dormitories and common room are located somewhere in the basement, near the castle's kitchens.

Catrina (Kitty) Brown - 4th year - 14 - Slightly shorter than usual at 5'1, Catrina is a rosy-cheeked, lightly tanned girl with a stocky and compact build. She has broad shoulders and a very low centre of gravity. Her surprisingly blonde shoulder-length hair has natural brown streaks in it, and her eyebrows and eyelashes are of the same colour but a bit darker. She has almost sparkling dark brown eyes that are almost impossibly large for her face, giving her an innocent and meek look. - Catrina is the most fun-loving, crazy person you will ever meet. She is impulsive and leaps at every chance that seems to come, not thinking about any risks or possibilities of failure whatsoever. It is usually her who thinks up adventures to embark on with her friends and it is also her who plans pranks. Any person who likes a troublemaker will be friends with her, because she is full-out adventurous and a mischief-maker. Catrina, however, is not too good in terms of her studies or marks, even thought she does have enormous potential to be a great student. She usually ignores homework or loses it while talking with friends and dropping it somewhere, or just forgets to do it altogether. She is quite nice and kind, but can easily give passive-aggressive signs of her anger. All in all she is considerate, empathetic, forgetful, impulsive, mischievous, and adventurous. - A huge fluffy grey cat named Storm. - Catrina is pure-blood but doesn't exactly care, with two parents that are pure-bloods. Both parents work at a small shop in Diagon Alley and don't exactly make much money, but it's enough to make ends meeting. Catrina is used to going through hard times as she watched her sister die by getting bitten by a poisonous snake. She is still haunted by it but never mentions it, even though you can see something is wrong when she has bad dreams. - Hog - BrambleIsBack. HUFFLEPUFF

Bramble Johnson - 15 - 5th year - Bramble is an average-sized person with a skinny and frail build, standing about 5'7 at his full height. He has unruly dark brown hair that goes down to roughly a bit above his shoulders, giving him a very disorganized look. His small, almond-shaped eyes are surprisingly emerald green. Some odd scars are on his arms and neck, but he himself has no idea where they came from. - Bramble prefers to keep to himself, but can have a good conversation if needed. He keeps a close circle of very few friends and doesn't associate much with others, but it they themselves talk to him he keeps up a friendly chat well. Usually though, he is outside in his free time and interacting with nature. He loves all animals and magical creatures, studying especially hard in Care Of Magical Creatures. A lot of people feel that he is too 'quirky' to be their friends, especially because he is very disorganized, dreamy, and very disoriented. His flaw is that he can appear weak and perfect teasing material to others because of how thick-skinned and kind he is, always apologizing first and being as polite as possible, and another thing about him is that he has a painfully short attention span and can never keep one subject up too long. - Two bonded toads named Groggy and Foggy, and a very old rat named Whoosh. - Bramble grew up an orphan, with both parents mysteriously dissapearing shortly after his birth. The Slytherin common room lies beneath the Black Lake. Main rivals are Gryffindor.

Rules
1. Please don't advertise too much for your thread, but you can bring it up. Please don't spam this thread with advertisements.
2. Follow all forum rules.
3. Keep it PG-13, please. No very graphic violence, but a little bit is okay as long as it's not too graphic.
4. Do not make new plot twists or a new plot unless I approve of it.
5. Your character can be a rude or mean character, but please don't be like that when you're talking outside of roleplay.
6. Be kind and considerate.
7. Accept LGBTQ+ members. If you are not okay with this, please do not join the thread.
8. Don't make one-liners, because that's hard to roleplay on. Make at least 2 lines, but even that would be a bit short. 3-ish?
9. No perfect characters, and the flaw in the joining page cannot be 'Is too perfect at everything' or something like that.
10. Have fun!! The secret word is Hogwarts.
11. Please be active. Don't just abandon us, and if you feel left out, just say that your character is open and someone will come interact with them. If you are going to be inactive for more than a week, please say so. Try to be as active as possible.
