(sure ) Michiko had been blankminded up until she felt the power from when Sora jumped into her hand; his blazing golden aura mixed beatifully with her own silver aura- as if the sun and the moon had colided between them. She blinked as the haze slowly started to face from her mind, and it finally occured to her to remove her glasses as she blinked the last bit of her paralyzing fear away. "Sora?" She questioned, her tone making it clear that she hadn't been consciouly aware of anything up until that moment. Her gaze flitted back over to the evil spirit that was making a blitz for them, and she ripped of her glasses and allowed her true power to come out. Michiko's normally patterened eyes blazed yellow as they turned hollow, and her true power shone through. For my parents! She thought as her face twisted in a cruel smirk. She let out a small snarl as she dashed toward the spirit and swung Sora rather powerfully in a huge arc over her head as she felt their wavelengthes attempt to meld. However, Michiko's now prickly soul had iorn bars as high as the sky up, and tuning their wave length was impossible, so Michi decided that she would just have to fight the battle on her own just like normal. The spirit flew back as Michi connected with it, but she only succeded in making it angry, and it roared, it aura flaring as it sprang back onto it's feet and rushed at the duo again. Michiko felt her rage take over as she swung again, but she misread Sora's singal and angle due to their weak connection, and she felt the beast unarm her as it sent Sora sailing away from her hands. Michiko felt a punch to her gut that sent her rolling a few feet away, moaning in pain. She looked up to see the creature advancing on her, and she struggled to her feet, shaking from the pain she was in. Closing her eyes, she attempted to summon the power within herself, but found that it was compeltely locked without her partner. Why did she always have to be alone? Michiko was sent flying again as darkness threw her into her own little world and the creature landed another solid blow to her chest. This time, she laid down, unable to move as the creature advanced. She didn;t even try to get up, and just laid there, broken and wrapped in her own thoughts. "There we go Michiko! Show this evil spirit our true power!" Sora yelled triumphantly, as the girl seemed to exit her fearful daze. Finally, we can show this guy who's boss! "That's it Michi! Can you feel our wavelengths attempting to join together? This is only a glimpse of what's to come! Once we get our wavelengths matched, can you imagine our power?" Sora roared, as the once shy teen swung him high over her head. The young man, truly felt at peace in times like these, he was a weapon after all. This is it Michiko, it's finally time for you to show me your power, show me your worth as a Meister!
Sora immediately got a feel for how strong their opponent was the instant he made contact with the spirit. This guy is strong... but he shouldn't be too much of a headache... as long as Michiko keeps a level head, we can take 'em. Almost as if she were reading his mind, Michiko did exactly what Sora thought what not to do. "Michi wait!" He tried to prevent the girl from performing another attack, but it was no use, for he already made contact with the spirit. "No!" He yelled as the spirit pried him from Michi's hands. He winced as he clanged to the ground. "You know I hate being dropped Michiko!" He yelled, before switching back into human form and running towards his seemingly unconscious Meister and the spirit. Sora jumped into the air, switching immediately back into his weapon form, and fanning his large body, forming an enormous gust of wind that hit the spirit like a freight train and dicing it to pieces. Before Sora hit the ground, he switched back to his human form, and watched their opponent dissipate into nothingness.
Sora scoffed, partially at Michi and partially at the spirit. He walked a few feet to his left, grabbing his Meister's glasses that had been tossed in the fight. They don't appear to be bent or broken, she should still be able to use these. He then slowly walked over to Michiko, then dropped the glasses by her head and sticking his hands in his pockets. "Come on, get up. The threat has been contained." He said coldy.

Soraβs shout normally would have fired the young girl up in a heart beat- spurring her on past her shyness, but not that time around. Michiβs parents were a touchy subject for her, and the images flashing the girlβs mind would have been enough to immobilize any person who didnβt have a heart of stone. The walls had been scarlet; the shadows dancing like demons in the light of the fire. The smoke that night had been thick as the house she had grown up in burnt to the ground- ashes swirling into the air and taking with the the safety and security built by a childhood abode. The Kishin had eaten her parents in front of her eyes with no qualms whatsoever; the souless demon had even seemed to enjoy sucking every last drop of life out of her parentβs bodies.
It had happened many years ago, but in that moment, it all seemed like yesterday. And so the girl laid there on the ground, unable to move as the creature approached her. She wanted to; her inner soul was screaming for her to get up and fight, but the more timid part of her brain had long since taken over as the memories of her parentsβ demise ran through her mind like a horror movie. She had been so helpless back then, and it appeared that absolutely nothing had changed. She hadnβt grown stronger- she was just as weak as she used to be.
But the time that Sora had killed the demon, Michi had finally shaken off her reverie and was blinking away the fog of memories from her eyes as tears ran down her cheeks. She hadnβt admitted it to anyone in a long time, not even her uncle, but she missed her parents more than words could express. She missed baking cookies with her mother on Christmas, missed going on shopping missions with her father before dinner to grab last minute ingredients, she missed all of it. Tears flowed down her cheeks freely then as she looked up at Sora and took her glasses. His eyes were cold, angry, and it struck her deeply in her core in a place that hadnβt been so brutally stabbed at in a long time. She kneeled in front of Sora in the traditional apology pose. βIβm sorry, Sora. I didnβt mean tot drop you. I-Iβm so weak.β She paused, breath hitching over a sob. βI- Iβm so tired of being helpless. βShe screamed the last part, taking her glasses and smashing them into the ground before studying the cracked lenses angrily. In a fit of rage, she grabbed the edges of the ear pieces and ripped them in opposite directions, snapping the devices without mercy.
Gone was the timid and shy girl, but also gone was the angry demon that everyone was so afraid of. All that was left in her place was a broken and confused girl- too scared to move forward, but too resolved to go back to being the scardy cat she was. There would be no more crutches for her; she would learn to harness her true self. Of course, her soul wave length was as unstable as ever, but that was just another hurdle she could have to get over on her path to becoming great. She sat there, panting with her head hung and she let the shards of glass cut in her palms momentarily before dropping to the grass as her hand fell limply to the side of it.
