Foxheart's Life in the Shadows

The sun was just setting. Scents of a she-cat flooded over the black tom. He looked around, amused by the hiding of teh she cat. He ducks into some ferns. His scent cover the she cat stepped out.

I got it I was being rushed

       Chrisom woke with a thump. She fell off out of the tree and hit the ground. She staggers to her feet and starts walking towards what she thinks is cat scent. 
             The red she cat hears a fluster of paws. It sounded bigger than a cat, so she starts running. The paws follow her, quickly. Crisom runs harder, but she hits a tree
            The larger putrid beast started ripping at her hind legs and tail. Chrisom let out a yowl for help. Suddenly smalletr paws ran towards her. Are those cats? The smaller animals started attacking the beast. They sent it running and howling. Chrisom ran and hide in some ferns
         "Are you OK? " asked a she-cat. They are cats! "Toadskip come and help me get this kit out."
         The tom, who she thought was toadskip, meowed "Come out, Kit. The fox gone. I'm Toadskip, this is Brightflower. We are here to help. Now whats your name?" 
        "No, no." Brightflower meows " let's get here back to shadowclan, the medicine cat will help her."
       "Okay" Toadskip meows. Her picks up Chrisom and sets her on his back carefully and they pad back to Shadowclan camp.
          When they arrived a cat meows " Toadskip! Poolcloud had kits!" 
         Toadskip suddenly let out a yowl of happiness. Brightflower tells Chrisom as she grabs her from his back " Poolcloud is his mate. Now, now, let's go to Sagewhisker's den, and get you fixed up." 
        A booming powerful voice meows " Whats this kit doing here." 
        "Cedarstar, this kit is hurt. Toadskip and I fought off a fox that was attacking her. You can punish me. But this kit needs help as soon as possible. " Brightflower tells him.
        " OK " cedarstar meows. 
         " Sagewhisker! I need your help." The she cat yowls running.
         " What is it!" A gentle but frantic voice mews " A kit! Wow!" She runs and comes back " Set her here" Chrisom gets put on a mossy nest. Herbs are put on her wound. "What clan are you from?"
        "Um uh I don't remember." Chrisom replies to the now calm Sagewhisker.
        " That quite alright, what's your name?" She asked
        " um I think it was scro- no that's my father. I don't know. Maybe Fox? " she replies
        " Well it matches your pelt, and the animal that attacked you. Well that's what you can be called until we find your home. Foxkit." Sagewhisker says
         " Kit? " asked the newly named she kit
         " Yes that's how clan cats are named."
         " Really, wow! Foxkit.I like it. Foxkit! " Foxkit answers.

        Foxkit bounced out of the nursery. It had been a 4 sunrises since she first arrived. She was learning about Starclan, with was real in her mind, the warrior code, she almost knew the whole thing, and she even learned some hunting skills. A yowl, calling her name rang out from near the nursery.
       "Hello Foxkit. I'm sorry to inform you that we can't find your parents." Cedarstar meows somberly " but we are sending the next patrol to the Twolegplace. If you would like, you can have Poolcloud as your foster mother."He tells Foxkit.
             Her eyes were wide with worry. "What if I never find a home? Will you throw me into a river and watch me drown!"
           "Oh no. Of course not. That would be savage. Well if we can't find a home for you, you could live here." Cedarstar calmed.
        Foxkit meowed "Okay." Then went to the nursery. When she stepped in Wolfkit attacked her. "Ah! Ambush!" She squeaked, then thought she needed to beat him. She got pinned. He smiled until she knocked his legs out from under him. She flipped him over then pinned him. "Gotcha!''
       "Get off of me!" He said scrambling under her.
         Poolcloud interrupted "Foxkit., I heard your conversion with Cedarstar. And, well, I wouldn't mind another kit. If, you know, you're okay with that?"
         "Well just until cedaaround.finds my home." Foxkit mewed.
         "Whoohoo! A sister!" Wolfkit exclaims bouncing around

      Foxkit was running around camp. She was racing her foster brother, Wolfkit. She was losing, only by a kittypet step. She was getting tired, but Wolfkit was panting hard. She had a plan. She got ready then pushed hard and springs onto Wolfkit's back and springs off of him ands runs to the nursery.
        Cedarstar was watching. "That was very impressive. Good job." Foxkit nods happily." Well we searched the Twolegplace and found your home! Brightflower will walk you there."
         Foxkit was shocked. Was she a kittypet? "But I like it here." she complained
        "Don't take her away!" Wolfkit cried in despair. "That can't be! She has no collar."
          "I'm sorry. I would've welcomed you here." Cedarstar meows sadly.
         Brightflower walks to them. "Come on, let's say goodbye."
         Foxkits eyes were swelling. She ran to Toadskip and Poolcloud and whispers "I'll be back..." then runs to Brightflower.
         Brightflower and Foxkit leave to the Twolegplace. Walk forever. When they arrive its almost sundown. Brightflower walks her to a fence.
          "Climb up there. You will see a she cat. Goodbye Foxkit." Brightflower meows sadly, clearly getting attached to Foxkit.
          "May Starclan light your path." Foxkit says. She jumps over the fence and lands in a small garden. A young shecat is sitting wait for her.
           "Hi I'm Ruby." she meows.
           "I'm Foxkit. Are you actually my mother?" Foxkit meows rather sad.
            "Well, no. But you can't live out there with those ruffians. They eat meat. Sharped their claws on kits like you." Ruby explains. " A few cats, from the forest, beat up my brother when he was your age."
            Foxkit had no right to complain. She just walking into the bushes to sleep.
            "Hey. Fox, was it? Come and sleep in the den. It's warm and there will be food."Ruby meows sweetly.
            Foxkit followed. She was hungry. When she got inside, the den was strangely warm. There were colorful rocks, pelts , and stuff she didn't know what to call.
             "Here's the food and water. Oh and over there is your bed." Ruby told the kit.
              "What's a bed? OH you mean nests." Foxkit meows "And that isn't food, thats rabbit droppings. "
             Ruby starts to eat the pellets. "They are tasty!"
             Foxkit lays in her nest. I have to get out of here!
