Otterpaw looked a little annoyed in herself, but did her best to loosen up this time. This time she managed to do it. She pounced a few seconds later before looking at Harehop expectantly.

"Nice. Your tail was a bit too low, but altogether, I think you are good. You will, however, need to work on that pounce." Harehop smiled excitedly at her. "I loved to hunt as an apprentice. Pouncing was my favorite part!"

In contrast to Harehop's excitement, Otterpaw looked much calmer. Hunting was something her brother enjoyed far more than she did, but she knew it was something she had to improve on to be a warrior. Sitting down with her head tilted, she asked him "So where are we going to practice?"

The little chocolate colored tom padded confidently into the clearing, his sturdy little body being showered by dawn light and shadows. He noticed Songkit dozing in a patch of light and gave a little huff, annoyed that he hadn't been the first of them to leave the nursery. Soon following, Fawnkit and Rabbitkit tumbled out of the nursery after him.
(If anyone wants to rp Fawnkit or Rabbitkit they can. Fawnkit: A tawny colored she-kit with a feathered tail and green eyes. Rabbitkit: A tawny colored she-kit with chocolate colored front paws and chocolate colored hind paws' toes. )

Nightkit squealed in fright. His sister was tugging him out of the den!
Daykit let out a grunt. Nightkit was being so stubborn! If he could just...get...out...with...her!

Fawnkit followed her brother's gaze, seeing Songkit snoozing in a patch of sunlight. Her brother seemed annoyed, but she paid little mind, opting to just take in the sunlight instead. She had to admit, it was nicer out here than in the nursery.

She didn't respond right away, taking a few moments to continue appreciating the warmth of the sunlight. She nodded at his offer to race, looking uninterested but willing.

Talonkit didn't notice her unintrest, but instead gave a little mewl of "RUN" before dashing toward the prey pile.

Her pace was a little more leisurely than Talonkit's. Racing didn't really interest her, but at least her brother seemed happy.
(Is Fawnkit being essentially the definition of chill okay or did you have a different kind of personality in mind for her?)

Ferretpaw watched Nightkit and Daykit leave the nursery in amusement. Feeling a little mischievous, he snuck behind the two siblings before bumping his nose into the back of Nightkit's head.

Talonkit touched one of the pieces of prey before bounding back toward the nursery, chestier puffed out in pride as he noted his sister was lagging behind.

Fawnkit didn't bother making it to the fresh-kill pile, instead following Talonkit back to the nursery. "I guess you're faster than me"

Cinderkit huffed out of the nursery. She stalked out of the camp, not caring if anyone saw her, and her paws carried her towards the stream. She needed some time alone, and that wouldn't be a problem.

"Explore, what else?" Daykit trilled. "Ah, the freat outdoors! Hey Oceankit!" The little white she-cat padded over. "Hey, sis! Whatcha up to now?"
"Ferretpaw was just talking to us!" Daykit said brightly. Nightkit let out another yelp.

Ferretpaw purred in amusement, using a claw to carefully separate a thorned twig from the bush. "Yeah, thorns do that to you, I once tried sneaking some into my sister's moss when we were still kits" He remembered getting in trouble for the prank, yet decided to leave that part out of the story.
