Prey: The tribe-cats' diet composes mainly of various fish and seabirds.
Arctic Hare(hare)- somewhat common, but hard to catch. It normally takes two warriors working together to bring one down. They can be found all through-out the territory.
Seagull(gull)- very common sea-bird that can be normally found by the ocean, or on Seabird Cliffs.
Arctic Tern(tern)- common bird, can be found throughout the territory.
Fulmar- an uncommon seabird that can be found on Seabird Cliffs.
Duck- an uncommon bird that lives in the icy waters of the ocean. They can be found on drifting ice as well.
Kittiwake- a somewhat common seabird that can be found on Seabird Cliffs.
Little Auk- a seabird that dwells on Seabird Cliffs during the warm season, or on drifting ice in the ocean during the other three seasons. It is difficult to reach, and uncommonly spotted.
Black Guillemot- a common bird that lives on the rocky shores by the sea.
Brown Guillemot- a rare bird that can only be found on Seabird cliffs during the warm season.
Capelin- uncommon fish, can be found in Saltspray Cove.
Herring- very common fish, abundant, and plentiful. They can be found throughout the water areas.
Arctic Cod(cod)- rare and can occasionally be found in only one spot, Saltspray Cove.
Crustaceans(lobsters, crabs, and shrimp)- extremely rare delicacies that are hard to find, considering they live on the sea floor, and the pincers of the crabs and lobsters make them dangerous and hard to catch even if they are found.
Ptarmigan- a common bird that can be found throughout the territory.
Puffin- a uncommon larger bird that is rarely hunted due to its size. It is hunted for special occasions only and can be found on the shores and in the ocean.
Lemming- a small rodent that can commonly be found throughout the territory.
Ermine- a rodent that is elusive and can sometimes be found. It lives throughout the territory.
Skua- a common bird that can be found by the shore.
Neutral: Animals that do not harm the cats nor are eaten by them are listed here.
Seals- a strange animal that has flippers and fins, yet lives on land as well as the sea. They live on the Valley of Never-ending Ice.
Beluga whales- beautiful white creatures that can be seen in the shallow bays and estuaries during the summer.
Narwhals- whales with a horn sticking out of their heads. They can be dangerous when food is extremely scarce, but normally leave cats alone.
Reindeer- a large hoofed mammal with horns that lives on the land and eats plants. Is docile unless provoked.
Moose- the largest land animal and looks similar to reindeer. It is hooved and has enormous antlers. They are docile unless provoked, although it is best to avoid them all together because of their large feet that could kill a cat in one stomp.
Snow goose(goose)- considered sacred by the cats considering its divine beauty. It is forbidden to hunt or harm these stunning birds.
Sea otter(otter)- a large rodent that lives near and in the water.
Musk ox(ox)- a larger hooved mammal with horns and thick shaggy fur. Is docile unless provoked.
Sheep- smaller hooved mammal that has curved horns. They look like puffy clouds from a distance. Is docile unless provoked.
Predators: Animals that kill and eat cats if they get the chance. Be on guard at all times.
Arctic fox(fox)- an uncommon, smaller and fluffier version of arctic wolves. They only go after kits.
Arctic wolves(wolves)- a larger animal that will eat full grown cats. They are extremely dangerous, but rare and elusive, and prefer to hunt bigger game.
Orca- extremely rare sea creature that rarely ever eats cats by leaping out of the sea to snatch their jaws.
Polar bear(bear)- a massive creature that is the largest of all the land predators. They are rare, but extremely dangerous. Do not try to fight them, run, it's your only hope.
Wolverine- a medium-sized weasel that will occasional eat full-grown cats, but mainly goes after the kits. They are uncommon, but be on guard!
Eagle- a large bird that swoops down and steals kits with its talons. It is somewhat common, so watch out for them!
Snowy owl- another large kit-stealing bird. They are uncommon and are elusive.

So first, before I go into detail, what kind of names will the tribe cats have? Would the have the names of ancient or modern timed Tribe of Rushing water? Ancient names were Turtle Tail, Gray Wing. And the modern ones were Brook where fish swim, etc.

Just popping in to add a few quick ideas I quite like the idea of Ancient names, but maybe with a twist? Like, a cat could be born with a noun for a name (a.k.a Snow, Bird, Hare etc.) but then, when they become adolescents, they get their full birth name (already chosen by the parents)? Like, to symbolise the fact that they're taking another step into becoming a Warrior? idk I also like the idea of them becoming Adolescents at 7 moons opposed to 6, because in a cold environment they'd have to wait for the cat's thick adult fur to grow in properly before they could leave the shelter of camp. Maybe at 6 moons ish the elders would start expecting them to help with chores, though they'd probably learn the Tribe's rules about then too Maybe they've got a superstition against cats with black fur? Maybe they'd be 'destined to die young' or something (which is kinda true because they wouldn't be able to hide in the white snow, so they'd have a higher chance of dying young..)

Ooh I like those ideas. I don't think I would have ever thought about cats with black fur. Would it just be cats with purely black fur or all cats with darker shaded fur.

They'd probably be like 'oooh close one keep an eye on that kit' for the dark grey ones but go 'Nope, don't get too attached to that baby' if it's pure black I feel like the black-furred cats would also naturally be the smartest though, as they'd need to find a way to survive and thrive. Maybe that's what they tell themselves to feel better.

Hmmm... that makes since.
Maybe they'd be a disgrace to the Tribe's eyes but be really good at hunting in the non snowy/icy areas of the territory.

That's fine by me :3. Alright so since we've agreed with Ancient names then here's the idea:
I did some research on The Tribe of Rushing water and arctic like environments, and I came up with a resource to their ancestors. Shamans and leader's would meet with their ancestors using The Northern lights! And maybe the Chief's name would be something related to the Norther Lights.

Maybe the Chieftain has a special ceremonial name and a real name, like Stoneteller does? Something to do with the Northern Lights.
Also maybe Aurora is a banned name because it's sacred, like Star for the canon Clans.

Spirits Characters -- Chieftan(Lightteller), Sleeping Mist, Owl(adolescence), Golden Sky, Falling Leaf, Whispering Shadow, Buzzing Bee.
And if you guys want, some of our characters could be related in some way to make the roleplay more interesting.

Perhaps? Did you have any ideas for Shaman name? Other wise, I would think they'd have normal names other than Shaman itself.

Alright so I've been thinking on plots for the tribe. Maybe the ancestors get quiet with the tribe and the cats of the underworld get access somehow. Or maybe the tundra could get dry and it causes flood/shortage of prey due to the lack of snow and ice. Maybe this could cause heat-stroke since the cats are used to colder climates and have thicker pelts.
Maybe for sub-plots, a shaman could break the code and take on a mate. (I think Whispering Shadow would be the type to fall for a shaman but idk.
