For the next ten minutes, Archer let Jenette wander around the enclosed space up until the last possible second. "Come on, it's time to head back," he told her.
Destiny nodded to his words, but waited until she was sure he was in bed before taking her leave. She quickly hugged Kurt and promised to come back tomorrow. Then hurried from the infirmary.
In the bed across from Kurt's laid Boris. The older gentleman had been in the infirmary for many months, nursing an injury to his lower back left arm. While he hated having no freedom to do things for himself, he did not mind having the nurses come by and do little things for him. While the wounds were not life threatening, they didn't seem to be healing the proper way the doctors had hoped. Thus the reason for his extended stay among the sick and injured. He was there when they brought the young man in, needing surgery to remove his crushed foot that was beyond repair. The Russian felt sorry for the man. So young and already facing struggling to comprehend the challenges of being a cripple. And everyday since his arrival, he had watched the man interacting with a young girl who thought highly of him. Boris never tried to have interactions with Kurt, as he heard the young girl call him, but today, after watching the two as Kurt finally left his bed on his own, he decided to strike up a conversation.
"You are close with that girl," Boris stated once Destiny had left. His voice was thick with his accent, making the words sound a little slurred. "Is she your daughter?"
As soon as Ava climbed out of her arms, Nichole followed. She stepped around the man who had spoken to her, eyeing him warily. She had no idea what to do. Her first instinct was to join Donald, but she had a feeling he might not be as willing to offer her reassurance as he did to his daughter. So she more or less just stood out of the way, watching as the men cleaned the car and moved about.
Christoph flexed his now free hands and rubbed his wrists. They weren't hurting or anything, but it gave him the excuse to do something. "Thank you," he said quietly.

((Realistically? It's highly unlikely. What does she need the phone for?
EDIT: Ope. I will type up a reply when I have time, Night. I was just leaving.))

((Okay. I think at this point I'm gonna need to know exactly what Aspen, a sixteen-year-old kid, is doing in France. I don't see a way to make it make sense that she has such an overprotective guardian and yet was allowed to fly across the ocean to a country where she knows no one and has no place to stay.
Okay, and that's it. I'm gone. *vanishes in a puff of smoke*))

Andrew grinned back. "Well, that's nice," he told her. "But unfortunately I don't trust you either. I know you've caused quite a bit of trouble in the past." "If I like you now then who's to say I'll cause trouble for you." Adelaide was really trying not to look antsy, but she was really itching to just go out right now. "What if there's not much you can do? What if they deny your request?" She takes a couple steps towards him, frowning. "C'mon Andrew, please? I promise I won't cause you any trouble. I'll be on my best behavior."

"Sorry, Adelaide," Andrew said as he opened the door to leave. "It'll have to wait." With that he closed and locked the door behind him.

Viktoriya laughed as well, pleased by this answer. "Good! You can sleep where you want. You want to go and look for... for a..." She paused, thinking. "Oh. What is word. Um..." She stepped towards the rowboat and took up a corner of the blanket in her hand, raising her eyebrows questioningly at Louis.
((Once again, what is her purpose there? And her begging wouldn't have any effect at all on such a strict guardian figure. You sure you don't want to just say she lives in France?))
Kurt turned sharply towards the origin of the voice, and his eyes landed on the large man in the bed next to his. The curtain was not always drawn back, but at this particular time, it was. The man had been there when Kurt had woken up on day one, and he didn't recognize him from Potsdam, so he'd assumed he was RK. Now that the man was actually talking to him, he had to remind himself to be civil, as there was a reasonable possibility that this was not the case. "No," he answered after a pause. "I am... I was a supervisor at her home base."
"What is your name and relation to the Winters family?" a man in a suit asked Nichole. Daniel had dropped his Irish accent, in large part without thinking about it, upon beginning to answer the official's questions. Anja clung to his leg, and he held her close, even though he felt much reassured by the presence of the WhiteKingdom.
Mรถer nodded stiffly. "You're welcome. Now come, we have a lot of ground to cover. It would be best to fly. Are you comfortable with flying?"

"A bed?" Louis guessed, though the word almost seemed foreign to him at this point too. He couldn't even remember the last time he had slept as a human, or in anything that resembled a bad more than a pile of leaves. "Uh... yeah," he said, scratching the back of his neck. "Yeah, I guess so."

"Wait-" She moves quickly towards the door but it's shut and locked before she can make it. Adelaide leans on the door and sighs, frowning and leaning her back against it, slowly sinking to the floor. (Sure thing!)

"Ah, yes, you're from WK," Boris commented with a small nod. He didn't seem to be as phased by the fact that this man was from the enemy side as Kurt was towards him. He had seen and met many soldiers from both sides to form his own opinion on things.
"She reminds me of my great-grandchildren," He continued. "Two are her age, and just as bright. Are you both shifters? Or just the girl?"
"I-I am, was, Ava's babysitter," Nichole asnwered, seeing no reason to try and lie. "I have been for a few months now. What's happening?"
Christoph nodded. "I fly all the time. Well, whenever Aunt Diana is where she can watch me," he said. What he failed to mention was that he never flew hug her than the roof of the house. He was young, but even with the early practice with his shifting, he was still getting use to learning how to fly and swim as certain animals. Flying was still a bit tricky and frightening for him.

Andrew knocked on Adelaide's door before entering. "Good morning," he said. "Still interested in that trip outside?"
--
"Oh! Oh, a blanket!" Louis realized. "Yes. Sorry. Blanket." For a moment he wondered why he hadn't thought of that, but then, you don't need a blanket when you have a fur coat.

Adelaide looked genuinely surprised to see that Andrew was back, she figured he was only filling in for yesterday and that was that. She wouldn't see him again and she was pretty sure she wasn't going to be going outside anytime soon. So, when he's in her doorway she's pretty shocked. "I-I, um. Yes."

"Well, good," said Andrew. "It's been approved. There will be plenty of guards around, and I'll have to cuff your hands, and of course there's the anti-shifting serum," he explained apologetically, "but you're to be allowed a half hour outside each day."

Adelaide frowns at the part about being handcuffed and looks really shaken up at the thought of it, but hearing him say each day brought a small smile to her face. She appreciated how he explained, he didn't sound condescending or that he being bound would be some form of entertainment to him. She picks herself up from off the ground and slowly approaches him. "Thank you, Andrew."

He didn't look nearly old enough to be a great-grandfather; Kurt reasoned he must be a shifter. He wondered how old he really was. He also found himself very puzzled by his friendly demeanor considering he was RK and did not appear surprised to learn that Kurt was WK. He had half a mind to refuse to answer the question, but he couldn't think of a good reason to do so. However, he did speak cautiously, being careful to keep the focus off of Destiny, when he said, "No, I'm human."
((I guess Kurt might still have a hospital gown on, but you can actually tell by the jumpsuits they wear whether they're human or shifter. A blue stripe on the sleeve means shifter; blue means human; and both means they were human when they came in but have since become a shifter.))
"What is your name?" the man repeated uncompromisingly, looking her in the eye sharply.
"I see." The boy seemed far more attached to Mรถer's former favorite toy than he'd prefer, but at least she hadn't poisoned the boy against him. "Then we shall fly. Until you get tired, at which point we will take to the ground for a time." To let him rest just as much as to stay under the radar. "You may choose the form we fly in." The WhiteKingdom, surely on the hunt by now, would be keeping an eye out specifically for the fastest fliers shifters could become. It seemed unlikely the boy would choose any of those.
Blanket! That was it. She had known that word at some point. "Blanket," she repeated, and smiled. "Do you want?"

Andrew just nodded as he put the handcuffs on Adelaide. "Come on," he said, gently guiding her out the door where another soldier was waiting. On the way out, one marched on each side of her, giving her the freedom to walk on her own, but ready to stop her should she make a run for it.
--
"I don't need one," said Louis. "I can sleep in animal form if I have to. But if we can find another, then yes, that would be great."

Adelaide stuck close to Andrew at first. He was all she really knew and would allow herself to be trusting of him, for now. Once they're outside she sort of stops in her tracks, squinting a little but starting to smile. It was so bright out, and warm.

Andrew nodded at Adelaide. "You can go ahead and walk around. I'll wait here."
((I'll start RPing with Jennette now.))
--
Jennette walked slowly around the courtyard, today by herself. No guard followed her at a close distance, but they did surround the cement walls of the area. It was sunny out today, which she enjoyed. Looking across the pavement, she sw another prisoner entering the courtyard, accompanied by two guards.

Adelaide nods slowly, watching him before finally turning away and beginning to wander around the courtyard. She smiles to herself and looks around, spotting another girl who was walking by herself. Her head tilts and she catches herself staring at the other girl, not really trying to hide the fact that she was looking at her.
(Jennette will probably have to be the one to approach Adelaide btw)
