((Tom- Could you perhaps give an example or two of that rebelliousness? Of a time that she went against what everyone else said and chose her own path? Also, another option as far as whom Aspen could interact with would be my character Viktoriya, who is 15, but you'd have to put Aspen in Europe because there's no way Vik could end up in stateside at this point.
Night- I guess it wasn't that clear, but Anja passed out at the end of my last post.))
Schwarz blinked in disbelief, and lowered her gun, though she did not holster it just yet. She stared at the other woman for a solid five seconds. Based on her passionate outburst in the helicopter, it wasn't hard to guess what she was doing out here. But Schwarz had been very much caught in her earlier lie. It seemed to her that there was nothing to be said. So she slid her gun back into her holster and brushed past Valentine, not saying a word.
The nurse compliantly led them to Kurt Keller's bed, where he lay with a drip attached to his arm, looking much the same as he had before, but this time definitely asleep and obviously in need of it. Really, Sabel thought he looked well, all things considered.
Nate also said thank you to the waitress before turning back to Faith. "Yeah," he said, nodding along with her. "That's wonderful. We need more people like you."

((oh okay then.))
((She was eight when she was told not to shoot guns, but she did it anyways. That's the only example at the moment I have. I'll make more later.))
Aspen shifted into her normal fox as she sprinted to victory, trying to get to a wooden building.
((Forgot about her not having a side.))

((So are you cool with placing her in Europe, or would you rather stay in the US and interact with a new character? Also, didn't her dad teach her how to shoot?))

((Yeah, that's exactly what I meant.))
((Putting her in Europe.))

((But that's contradictory. Nobody wanted her to shoot, but her dad taught her how?
Okay. But Dawn and Night, feel absolutely free to make new characters if you want. It would be cool to have characters of three or more different users interacting at once. We haven't done that for a long time.))

((Mmm... okay.
Sorry, forgot to give you an opening.))
Viktoriya walked along the street. She was covered, as always, in a thin layer of filth, and what remained of her shoes flapped about with every step she took, threatening to break apart entirely.
((You can pick the country and the type of area [ghost town, suburbs, rural, city, etc.], it doesn't matter to me at all.))

Aspen kept her head down, trying not to draw attention. She was ready for anything.

((Near an alleyway in a big city I'd say somewhere in Britain.))

((Okay, shoulda mentioned this earlier but it's gonna have to be on the mainland of Europe. Vik hasn't been able to board a plane or a boat and she's from Russia. But I suppose the country's not too important right now.))
Viktoriya walked along aimlessly, humming to herself. The streets were crowded, so nobody paid any attention to her; they just kept their heads down and hurried about their business. In an odd way, it was peaceful.

Aspen slipped into an alleyway, hand on pistol. She also kept a riflew in her bag. She shifted into a rumpled looking Border Collie, heading out into the sidewalks again.
((England?))

((That's the same thing. The United Kingdom is an island separate from the rest of Europe.))
Viktoriya stopped short as a dog passed in front of her. As it paused briefly, she cooed in Russian, "Hi there, buddy," and reached out a tentative hand, hoping it would let her pet it.
((Did you read the blurb on clothes chips on the front page? Aspen more than likely wouldn't have one.))

|

((Yeah, I read it.))
The dog shied away. The hand looked so big compared to her! But she realized how unnatural that was, and stood still.
((France?))

((France works. And if Aspen doesn't have a chip it means she'd have to stash all her gear somewhere when she shifts.))
Viktoriya was ready to withdraw her hand when the dog reacted with what appeared to be fear, but when it quickly calmed down she smiled in delight and laid her hand gently on its head, stroking its fur.

((Okay.))
Viktoriya noticed a bag in the alleyway off to her side, from where the dog had come. Unlike most things lying abandoned in alleyways, it looked clean. She perked up and started in its direction.

The dog followed her gaze, quickly ran to the bag, dragged it further into the alleyway, hid it, then came back.

Viktoriya watched as the dog displayed clear signs that it did not want her looking at the bag, but the way it had done it was... very odd. Why would it come back to her after hiding the bag? Why would a dog have a bag in the first place? She stared down at it, brows drawn in total confusion. Was it possible that this was, in fact, a shifter?

The dog glared at Viktoriya, as if to say, "Don't even, buster." Then it barked.

Viktoriya continued watching the dog, wondering why it was still hanging around. It had just left the bag, after all. She would have liked to be able to say something to it, if it was a shifter, but she didn't know much French at all and she very much doubted it spoke any Russian. Maybe English, though. Her English was passable.

Okay, obviously this dog or shifter or whatever it was wanted something from her, or it would have run off by now. Viktoriya slowly realized she didn't know the English term for "shapeshifter." That was out. After several seconds, she asked hesitantly, "Do you understand me?"
((Gotta go. Later.))

((I'd kind of like to throw Louis into this new plotline if Amberwing doesn't end up coming back. He's also independent of either side so I think he could fit into it well, though he's a little older. His age could be adjusted though. But yeah, it would be fun to have 3+ people in on the same RP scene again.))
Jennette nodded slowly. "That's too bad," she said. "I'm guessing I've been in here for around a week now. You start to miss the sun. Or... we'll, anything that isn't this." She guestured to her cell.

Lillian stood still for a moment, then wordlessly followed Schwarz. She stayed a couple paces behind, but close enough that Schwarz would certainly be aware of her presence. This would be much easier, she knew, with Schwarz's help. She was beginning to feel a bit more confident as well, knowing that she had been right about Schwarz returning.

(Well, that changes things. Ignore my last post with them.)
Destiny stopped beside Kurt's bed and just stared at him. He looked exhausted, more so than she had ever seen him look before. She was careful not to wake him even though she wished the man would open his eyes, to assure her that he was fine. A few seconds passed while she stood there silently. Then the little girl looked back up to Maria. "Will I be able to visit him tomorrow?" she asked.
Nichole rushed over to where Ava had been standing. Now, the young girl was laying passed out in the middle of the parking lot. She mentally cursed the ropes around her wrists, preventing her from just scooping Ava up and carrying her to the car. Kneeling down beside her, she called her several times in hopes it would rouse her. When nothing happened, she looked in the direction Donald had went. "Donald! I can't wake Ava," she shouted, feeling helpless. People were still shouting on the beach, and to add to her growing panic, she thought she could hear the wail of sirens in the distance.
Faith gave a sheepish smile and shrugged once more. She wasn't used to anyone thinking so highly of her idea. Most people she told just told her "Good luck," but didn't look as if she would actually accomplish her goal. No one doubted she would become a journalist, it was her topic of stories that they didn't believe she would be able to find. "What about you? You got any plans with your career?"
"I could ask and see if I might be able to get you scheduled walks outside," Archer offered. "There's been some cases where we let prisoners out to exercise. Under heavy supervision of course. I could try and set up the same for you."

"You'd really do that?" Jennette said. Of course she wouldn't enjoy being constantly surrounded by RK guards, but it certainly beat not going outside at all.
