Spottedfawn let out a happy purr as she raced to catch up with her leader. She couldn't wait to go outside the camp, it was nice laying around but she couldn't wait to move around. "Where should we go first?" she asked as she finally caught up with her and sat down nearby.

Crowcall quietly followed, simply nodding to show he understood. The RiverClan border was rather well-marked- naturally, at least. The river provided a clear boundary, although it also created a long dispute iver the Sunningrocks...

"Agreed. They haven't caused trouble recently, but they'll inevitably come back..." Crowcall sighed. The only reason this place was worth fighting over was the prey that came to bask in the sun. Even so, RiverClan's streams gave them abundant food most of the time. To Crowcall, the entire argument was a waste of time.

"Sometimes it's tiring, I mean yes, there is prey here, and a nice sunning spot. But it seems we never use it..." Shatteredstar thought out loud. She tended to be a eationsl cat, whom did not like doing things that were useless and put her warriors in trouble.

"Perhaps we should put it to use, then. It's not worth protecting if we don't have a reason to value it," Crowcall replied. His pads felt warm under the sunlit stones as he sniffed the air. There was a fishy scent near the river, but it was faint. Perhaps a careless apprentice had accidentally gotten out on the wrong side?

Shatteredstar then got an idea, and smiled. "You're correct, perhaps we can use this place for a reward for apprentices? Or warriors after battle. I mean, I don't actually know what use it could serve, I've herd cat's have died here from snake bites." Shatteredstar added. She scented the scent and sighed, "Smell's like a foolish young cat, I might bring it up with ______star at the next gathering." She said.

"Good idea. As for the snakes, we should keep an eye out. Don't want to hunt if a snake's around." Of course, some snakes were harmless, but Crowcall didn't want to take chances. A quick glance revealed nothing else out of the ordinary. "Other than that scent, there's nothing else of note. I'd say that nobody's come here for a few days."

Goosepond was still waiting for the patrol but realized prey had been supplied much earlier. He grabs a little mouse and moves on. He flicks his tail and licks his lips. Eating the mouse in famished bites.

Tanglepool dipped his head to Goosepond, taking over his spot on guard. The forest seemed so quiet and peaceful, he was happy to take watch duty. Letting his mind wander, he spotted Songpaw in the clearing, seemingly looking for something to do.
"Hey, Songpaw!" He called, trying to get the apprentice's attention.
