OOC: It is. <3
Got my first post. Gotta go soon so it's really just putting morg in a situation, not much else. Oh well.
BIC: Morgan followed Ashton off the bus closely, following his older brother like a lost puppy. Because he didn't know where his classroom was supposed to be.
So quiet was Morgan, in fact, that Ashton made it all the way to Mr. Aarding's fourth grade class, and his locker, before he noticed his brother.
"What are you doing?" Ash scolded. He was cool, and if his friends saw that he had a family, he'd never live it down, "first grade's that way!" He spun Morgan around and sent him off in the rough direction of Miss Cardenas' room.
Morgan left rather sheepishly, still very lost and hoping he'd find his way somehow. Just keep going straight.

"J.J.! Wait up!" Gwen exclaimed, hurrying after her older sister who was rushing to her locker. "Gwen I don't have time to walk you to your class, you know where Miss Cardenas' room is, don't you." The little girl nodded but poured slight, "But she doesn't like me J.J. She says that I'm not supposed to be reading big books, she'll make me pull a card when she finds out I already know cursive!" J.J.'s eyes widened and she said in surprise, "You know how to write in cursive?" Nodding again, Gwen explained how she'd watched her sister write it and taught herself how to do it. Shaking her head in amusement, J.J. hugged her little sister and said, "Don't let her get you down bud, she just wishes she were as smart as you when she was six. Now go to class!" Giggling, Gwen smiled widely and hurried towards the first grade room before running into a little boy and falling over

Max had been following George. His brother had started school only two years ago, and this one only weeks before school ended for summer, but he seemed to think that made him an expert. Max disagreed, but who was he to argue?
But now he'd been abandoned. Left behind. That meant he had to latch onto somebody new, and he'd chosen a girl with curly hair who seemed to know what he was going. He smiled to himself as they neared the building. He'd chosen right. But then, she crashed into a boy, and all he could do was watch as she tumbled. Hmmm.

The poor unfortunate soul went sprawling as a little girl crashed into him, and Morgan shrieked. Just a little bit. Not so much it was embarrassing...honest. "Owww!" He whined. He'd caught himself before his face smashed into the ground, but his hands and knees were stinging from those sick carpet burns. He rolled over in order to get a good look at his attacker, a girl with curly brown hair, "that hurt," he scrunched up his face a little.

"I'm so terribly sorry! Does it look infected?" Gwen asked quickly, forgetting first graders shouldn't know those words as she pushed herself up and walked over to the boy, ignoring the angry red marks on her elbows. "I promise I didn't mean to tackle you, I was just hurrying to class!"

Isabelle's mother had found time out of her day to drop her off, which she appreciated. She was not going to sit on the bus this morning, as she had practically no friends anyway. Would she even make some? When she was social, Isabelle was often too forward and it scared people off, so either way, she was alone. At home was another story, her best friend was her little brother and they always played together. And her daddy even played with them too, when he didn't have bad shifts. She didn't really know much about her daddy's job. Her mother only told her he worked in the Air Force, but not what he did there. So, she was left to assume he flew planes.
Isabelle walked up the steps to the elementary school by herself, holding onto the railing as she went. There were a couple of children around her age, and figured they were in the same grade. She wouldn't know them anyway, this was her first year here and she more than likely won't talk to anyone for the first couple of weeks. She gripped the straps of her Hello Kitty backpack with both of her hands tighter and self consciously as she turned her head away from the other children.

"What?" Morgan asked. Infected? He'd heard that word before, but never found out what it meant. Oh well. He'd learn later. Morgan stood up properly instead, "which class?" He asked, "Is it Miss Cardenas?" His voice was a little desperate, "I can't find it anywhere! I thought Ash would help me but he didn't!" He became distracted by his sore palms, pessing down until they went white then releasing and watching the color creep back.

For the first time, Max piped up from the sidelines he'd been watching from. "That's where I'm going, too," he said calmly, sounding older than his years simply by keeping his voice level. "I was following you to find it. You looked like you know where it is." He pointed at Gwen, almost accusingly. She had stopped walking, forcing him to get used to this third person. Maybe it was that. He wasn't sure himself.

Isabelle wasn't sure if she should tell the boy who asked where their teacher's class was. She remembered from when her mother came in to talk to the teacher before school officially started. Of course, Isabelle didn't know about what, she was too busy looking at the toys and other things the classroom had to offer while they talked. She heard her name mentioned a few times, and something about her having 'signs of OCD' but she didn't what OCD was. She thought that maybe they didn't know what order the letters went in and decided to arrange them into what she thought the right order was: CDO.
She turned around to look at them, but then her eyes soon turned back down to the cement below her. "I...I know where it is." She wasn't sure if they heard her, and was tempted to just 'quit' now and go to her class by herself.

Eyes wide, Gwen turned to look at the other boy and her heart stopped. "It's this way," she blurted before hurrying to the classroom, not waiting for the others. "Good morning Miss Cardenas." She said, rushing past the woman who quickly chided her for her rudeness before assigning her a seat near the back. The back?! No, she needed to be up in the front, how else could her teacher call on her? "This seating chart is preposterous Miss Cardenas! I'm almost certain there's been some kind of mistake! Shouldn't I be in the front?"
