(I'll jump in with my native as soon as I figure out the exact time and setting and what nationality I want to make my character lol. Honestly I'd love to do Norse but I'm not sure if that would work with the time period, so I may go with German or Russian instead. Maybe German/English or Russian/English. Could go Irish or Scottish though too, those are both good options. So many choices. Idk, I'll just see what goes best with the setting.) Just do all xD) (all those options sounds fun, though.)

(I'm seriously trying to figure out how to squeeze as many as I can in there. Currently I'm thinking like, maybe Irish mom + Norse [like, from Norway or something] dad who met in England and had him? Idk. Because I assume wherever this ship is going it probably left from England, because ya know. Colonial America and England. Though I mean I guess it could be Spain depending on which part of America we're going to. But it was probably England.)

( That's fine! We've kind of got a colonial thing going on and it's still pretty early. If we're being thrown back five hundred years the time would be someplace around the early 1500s. As for where the ships headed, the east coast of North America? Then it was largely under the rule of Great Britain and France. Honestly, though, any nationality within reason might work. I've no idea what to do with Ben, though, so I might just throw him into the present and have him come back like the others. I love history but am not an avid rper of it.
EDIT: Late post. xp The idea you've got going sounds great, Di-stri! )

(yeah same. Literally the closest thing I've done to a historical roleplay really is, like, the Haunted Mansion roleplay I'm working on that takes place in Victorian times. But yeah, that's why I was gonna go with like German or Russian, because a lot of them came to the Americas. The same goes for Irish though. So I guess that's how I could make it work with being half Norse, is that he's also half Irish? Idk, tbh I just really want to make him very pagan and all about, like, Odin and stuff. Because I'm a nerd like that.)

Sophia ||
As her stranger spoke, Sophia exhaled slowly. Surprisingly, she found relief in his lack of knowledge. She tried to reason that the less he knew, the better. It made him, at least, less of a perpetrator. Him not knowing their whereabouts meant that he, too, was in the same predicament as herself. Of course, though, he could be lying.
Pushing herself to her feet again, she held out her hands to both steady herself and search in the near darkness that surrounded them. "We're on a boat?" Her shocked disbelief rose the volume of her voice to a shrill remark as she stumbled forward. "That's impossible." Shaking her head, she immediately regretted the decision as it sent her falling into a stack of crates. Gripping the side of one tightly, she shut her eyes tightly. "I- uh. I don't live around any ports or anything. The biggest body of water we have is the Kelky River." And, yet, the air spelled thickly of salt.
Stepping away from the wall of crates and netting, her knees immediately ran into another lone crate. Crying out, she clasped a hand over her mouth and turned to sit on it, holding one knee as pain blossomed over the joint. After a moment, she let loose a shaking breath and turned toward the direction of the voice. "You know how you got here?"

(alright lol. Waiting for my chance to jump in then, since I sort of have an idea of what I'm gonna do now. Quick question: you have any plan as to where in the Americas we're headed? Like, what city or colony or whatever?)

Oliver flinched a couple of times, both impressed by her willingness to find a new spot to sit and worried that she would continue to hurt herself. He was still on the ground, finding it easier to not move to much while the boat was turning like this. "It would seem so" He could go without his voice groaning slightly from his earlier fall. Oliver found a moment where the boat was relatively still to flip himself around so he was lounging on the ground, his hands stretched behind him for extra support. "I have no idea where that is, though I am used to being around sea-like places" He had paused for a moment, thinking about her last question. "Well there was the feeling of being pulled from my job, other then that, no idea. One moment I was watching as the loner kid found a new path to the bathroom with no chance of running into anyone and the next I am being tossed about by some boat out in the middle of probably the ocean" He doubted this was a sea or a smaller body of water even, the waves-or he assumed they were waves-along the boat seemed too harsh.

( Night, Shiokaze!
So, in the 1500s Spain was mainly the one doing most of the colonization but that was in South America. The rest of the settlements in North America came closer to the 1600s it looks like. If we wanted to press north along the coast, though, we could do Newfoundland which was founded in 1610. We could just land there in their earlier years or whatever. I think I'm just making this too complicated. haha. There's also the Roanoke settlement which was Britain's first attempt at establishing a colony. They settled in 1587. )

(that would be fantastic lol. Like, the deity is just like "hm this should be interesting" and just takes literally the entire town and puts them somewhere absurd. So it's like, friggin 2345 and it's just like "well that mystery is solved I guess. Sorta. Not really."
Anyways, goodnight!)

(That would be great. Imagine the entire town just losing their mind about how they had an entire life back then and our characters just like 'whelp, this happened again.' and just try to figure out how they are going to explain this to an entire town all the while trying to figure out what year they are in now)
