English isn't even a language it's like six of them moshed haphazardly together in some weird language orgy party and then their lovechild came out with severe mental instability. I'm not saying that to be mean but I mean English is LITERALLY blowing spit bubbles from a high chair and flinging it's poop at Grandma Latin while Papa French and Mama German bicker in the kitchen. where are the other languages
who's the aunt

Catholic witches are actually far from rare. A bit uncommon, yes, but I've seen them on any pagan-related website I go to. You can basically trip over one if you're not careful. There's also Angel witchcraft, which I'm not sure if it's the same or similar but from what little I know, kind of like summoning a demon/spirit and asking it for help except... angels. Which are considered to be "good" and more benevolent of course.
Though the more I know, the less I have drawn the line between demon/angel and just dictated as malevolent and benevolent. I don't think there are any malevolent angels (Aside from maybe fallen angels which could be classified as demons like Lucifer or Baphomet? Baphomet was an angel at some point right???? idk) But then I've also seen benevolent demons or at least, ones that don't actively want to cause harm.

I still try to stay away from demons because of the really offputting vibe they give off but.

hello, i'm interested in joining this!
i don't know much about paganism, but i wasn't raised with a religion and have so far considered myself to be agnostic. however, i find myself thinking of higher powers (like at night, i guess, when someone might pray to god for things, i pray in my head in my own way often to a jumble of things/people) and have always been fascinated by the concept of crystal magic and tarot reading and would love to learn. i'm hoping to find a branch of pagan belief that really speaks to me.

I think I remember reading somewhere that just like with demons and different gods and goddesses (and apparently angels), saints can also be summoned as well.

Maybe? I don't know much about summoning things. I only know how to call a spirit I've met before to show up and even then sometimes it doesn't work if they don't feel like it.
Example: I tried to call and talk to this demon named Steve and he showed up A WEEK LATER like "oh sorry." and????? He's a jerk.

I have lots of stories about Steve. He's harmless but he's also an A**HOLE. But he's also funny.
I know people irl like him so ig that's why I tolerate him so much andhe's not stupid. He gives good advice.... rudely.

i was just looking at witchipedia and saw something about Creating a Book of Shadows. do any of you have one? or do you have examples of what one looks like? also, i've heard about kitchen witches. is that tied to a branch of paganism or is it something separate? edit: i'm making a book of shadows right now! i'm making my own divider tabs for it with flashcards, sharpie, and packing tape so it looks lowkey ugly but u know what. it's 100% made with love ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I actually met Steve by happenstance and he gave me something of his that's kind of a calling card? It's a little black stone.
Books of shadows/grimoires aren't that hard. I have a special leather bound one because I likd it but it can be out of any journal you like. That's kind of the only mandate.

Met a few, but don't seek out to contact them. I've had a few more ouija board happenings.

Honestly? Because I was really fed up with how many flaws and fallacies I grew up on I wanted to find out the other half of the story.... i honestly started with the extreme other side, but I realized how screwed up and scary it is so I kind of settled to the medium I suppose and just... went from there.

I'm playing around with the idea of actually just ignoring the front page and making a pagan proboards but idk if it would be active or useful in any way so like. :^(

I wanted to share a verse in the Havamal about overthinking.
"The unwise man is awake all night, and ponders everything over; when morning comes he is weary in mind, and all is a burden as ever. " (Verse 23)
Basically, don't fret so much you wear yourself out and make it worse. Chin up friends.

"Too many unstable words are spoken by him who ne'er holds his peace; the hasty tongue sings its own mishap if it be not bridled in. " (V. 29) Sour Candy I think you need this one too by the way buddy.
