progress and KNOWING youre progressing is soooo satisfying
expansion on the idea i had: every week, perhaps if people wanted we could toss 2-3 "prompts" out there to further push the whole "everyone sort of doing the same activity and then sharing their experiences" idea. These prompts could be things like:
-create a piece of devotional art for a deity you honor (you wouldn't have to share it if you didn't want, although it would be encouraged) -write your own spell to help you in an area you're struggling -create a spread in your BOS on a topic of your choice -meditate for 30-60 min on topics such as deity communication, past lives (if ya believe in that) higher selves, guides, or just meditating and seeing what happens -do a 3-card tarot spread -do a ritual offering for a deity of your choice -pick a deity you honor, and write an informative and in-depth post about them -maybe also toss out an open-ended question for people to discuss on saturday nights too?
all just ideas of things we could do, and of course it'd all be optional if people felt like doing something different than what the week's prompt was! if we went with this angle, over the weeks we could rotate through group members to come up with ideas so it's not all on one person to come up with prompts and questions every week.

I just popped on cause I woke up out of the blue, and I must say that sounds really great by me. Friday or saturday nights would also be optimal streaming times.
I'm happy this has grown and that we can all be working on the same projects together. Y'all are motivating me for better things.

Yo, I've been kind of tired all day and have to go with my mom in about half an hour for her birthday. But I decidedly really needed to share my dream.
Specifically an entity within the dream that didn't feel right and was somehow far more defined and stood out from all other elements of said dream.
I'm only going to sum up the non-related stuff. basically giant alien spider ships in the sky and more smaller spiders on the ground terrorizing people while me and my ex fled through a series of strip malls. He started seeing a person telling him things that I couldn't but finally I was able to see this entity by some type of microchip he gave me on my head and the dude kept appearing and disappearing until I realized he was leading us into a trap to be destroyed by the spiderships. so we ran the other way and then I woke up.
But when he appeared, this is what he looked like:
He looked Human and helpful at first and he was like.... a slightly large darker tan skinned dude, and had a gray suit with a black and white striped neckerchief in place of a tie. And you could see just a hint of a red button up underneath and he had a black cane with a sort of black metallic ball tip that came to his waist. His face was round and he had a thin neatly trimmed beard but no mustache or neckbeard or anything and kind of a... stereotype jewish nose and really strange eyes that I didn't see the color of because I couldn't look at him for more than a few seconds, and his eyes made me uneasy so I didn't look at them as much as I kind of looked at his mouth and nose, which were kind of thin. He only had really short thin black hair on his head and no hat but his hairline was receded a bit, but not too much. He smiled a lot and the teeth seemed normal but you could see both top and bottom and it had sort of a sly, cheshire quality. Like he was a trickster of some sort. I want to say his eyes were either black or purple. Maybe blue? A few characteristics aren't as certain as others. His eyes, his limbs, and his glow. Though I don't think there was anything out of place about his limbs. They just weren't noteworthy outside of his suit. And he had a glow about him that was either black white or gray, i couldn't tell.
I don't think I've ever seen such a defined person in my dream before. Usually people and faces are blurred and the scenery is what is defined for me. I told this all to my friend who isn't really religious or spiritualist at all and he just suggested it was Loki, which as soon as i said trickster that thought popped into my head too but honestly if it's Loki I'm going to be so pissed off. I hate Loki. Trickster gods are so aggravating. He just really grinds my gears, man... But I guess I want a second opinion and also to do some research on other trickster entities just... just to hope it's not freaking LOKI. >:|
god damn it. knowing my luck it probably is who my first instinct told me it was isn't it? HECK.

That's a weirdly vivid dream. Alien spiders sound terrifying, although anything to do with spiders is basically my worst nightmare O.o
I'd definitely say go with your gut instinct. In my experience, when it comes to these types of things, you're usually right the first time around. I wonder what he wants...

Once when I was day dreaming I imagined giant sky spiders which were basically skinny giant tarantulas that walked along the bottom of clouds on days where clouds cover the entire sky and they would climb down with their web and occasionally wipe out entire cities by sweeping their legs Freaked myself out xD

Dreaming about escaping a nuclear apocalypse almost seems normal in comparison...

Oooh, sounds fun! I dunno why, but Washington has never appealed to me as a place I want to visit.

Well I'm still trying to think of the details, but my idea so far is that me and some other people would do a skit in the channeled scablands about some people travelling across the wasteland trying to track down a dangerous raider or something o3o Though idk how I'd be able to get costumes or props for it though...

Sounds interesting! Have you considered homemade costumes?
Sorry if I disappear for a bit - I'm simultaneously working on my writing. Why do all of my oc's have such tragic backstories?

I don't know why Loki makes me so angry but it he just does ok and HHHRHRHGRHGRHRGHH. //pulls out my own hair. When I first read your post I first thought of another trickster god, Coyote. But it would make more sense for it to be Loki considering your already present connections with the Norse gods. Perhaps do some research on him to see what your dream might mean. I've never heard of Loki being connected to spiders before. I believe fish and birds were more his style, if I remember correctly. But he is a shapeshifter, so anything goes for him. But that dream sounded really freaky.

Dingoleap That's fine And idk, maybe someone I know is good at making costumes??? I'm actually looking at stuff online that looks good for what I have planned but by the gods it's expensive

Maybe, yeah. If not you can always try to put something together from clothes you already have?
*sigh* Why is everything so expensive?
