Eh, I'll be fine. If I could untangle the better parts, I'd write them down. But that doesn't seem like it's going to work. Ah well.
Wonder what I'll finally do today or whether I'll try to savor my last school free day.

𝓣𝓲𝓷𝓾𝓿𝓲𝓮𝓵 Well, you can use those wikihows as suggestions I guess but neither of them are how you have to do it. In fact mine was just a stick that fell after a storm so there wasn't really any asking the tree for what it already discarded yk? Though they were right on not just cutting or breaking one off without thinking about it first. My belief is that all plants have spirits too because they are alive, so you don't want to go hurting them. (In fact I know a guy who believes he was a tree in his past life although, i don't know how that's supposed to work but whatever man?? That belief hurts literally no one and it's kinda believable with how gentle and deliberate with his words and actions he is all the time.) I can post a picture of my wand later if you'd like. mintedstar/fur🦇 That sounds like a wild dream. I'd say savor your last school free day. Although I can't believe you're still on break, holy moly,

@bumbleberry, yeah this is why I take everything WikiHow says with a grain of salt, although I do also believe that even plants have spirits. I just thought I'd share the articles anyway. But yeah, that'd we great. And I agree, savor you day, mintedstar/fur🦇. My own classes don't start for me until the end of January.

𝓣𝓲𝓷𝓾𝓿𝓲𝓮𝓵![](https://i.imgur.com/nFXSk9Z.jpg) Bit of an old image and one I think I've sent before. This wand is pretty long in all honesty and maybe a little too long but it works just fine. As you can see, mine is't straight or sanded down at all. Though the stick itself was straight enough to begin with. The end is glued and wrapped with that scrap of my blanket as I said with a little bit of nickel wire holding it in place near the top. The pommel is a little malachite egg shape with the point in the wood itself and glued in with gorilla glue so that sucker isnt ever falling out. There's also a band aid there? Because when I was making it i had cut my finger and then it came off on the glue so i just... went with it so that's there now. The tip is a quartz point secured by more nickel wire but not glued just in case i want to take it off and replace it with a different stone. Also! don't forget you can buy stone/crystal wands without wood! Unless you have jewelers tools though you're going to have to buy one. They can come in all kinds but the more popular ones are selenite, rose quartz, and amethyst.

Okay, so since I'm having trouble finding names for their gods to match the respective cultures of my story, I've been thinking that maybe I should just have the countries worship the same exact gods to make things easier.
For example, instead of having the countries inspired by France and England worship different gods of thunder, they'd be worshipping the same god of thunder, with the exact same name and everything. And like I said, the setting is completely fictional anyway, so it might not even matter?

Today was a good day. Had some cereal for breakfast, set up an appointment to speak to my counselor tomorrow, went to my college's orientation where they gave out free snacks afterwards, and went to the bookstore afterwards. They didn't have the books that I was looking for, but I ordered one of them and it should arrive in about a week or so. I also saw one of my best friends today.
Also, I finally decided on what to do with the gods, which is basically what I was saying previously. And forget about name origins, because the gods in my story will actually be aliens from an alternate universe similar to our world where world peace exists, and some of them left because world peace is boring! Everything on the new planet was basically Ancient Greece until the humans separated into different civilizations.
I also finally figured out how I'm going to start the actual story. Turns out, what I really should've done was focus on the second half, since the first half is mostly irrelevant when compared to the rest of the story and I'll just make it into a novella. The second half will be combined with the second book. Now to actually start writing.
I also got an idea to have one of the ancestors of the characters be inspired by Catherine the Great, so there's story potential there.

That sounds awesome! Speaking of stories, I developed Tezeroth a little more. The second planet in the galaxy.
I mean, not that it matters at all since by the time the story takes place the planet fkin exploded. But whatever. Worldbuilding.

An event celebrating Tezeroth's serpent god happens before the crew of Intrepid Hero/Antiheros crashes it with a wild ox. I mean I don't really need to get into the science of the Angeli political faction's nuclear superweapon that grappled into a fault line and exploded so hard it ruptured the core of the planet. But am I going to anyways? Yes.

It's how I show I care. See, I don't get the whole authors causing their characters to suffer so much honestly. Like yeah a few bad things happen and there's obviously a lot of non-characters who die as casualties but as a whole things are not overly malicious? And maybe that's my downfall as a writer. But I've experienced enough real life tragedy to not want it to invade what is essentially my safe space.

But I've experienced enough real life tragedy to not want it to invade what is essentially my safe space. Oh, I completely get what you're saying. I think it just varies from writer to writer. Some people I'm just that pessimistic. The way I see it, life is unfair, no matter how good of a person you are. To live is to suffer; everyday is a fight. However, these are just my own personal views and of course not all of my characters end up suffering some horrible fate anyway, unless it's actually important to their character arc that helps them become strong enough to overcome whatever obstacle they're facing, or they're actually the villain and die some horrible death. I know some authors have their characters be inspired by people they don't like, so it also works as an outlet, I guess. If you can't fight that person in real life, let them face the consequences in your fictional world where you control everything. And then there's the third option: it's just fun to do. These are just the most common reasons I've seen, anyway. Hopefully this made sense.

I saw a specialist who is going to get me hooked up with a case manager and a bunch of different counseling and therapy both for general mental health and a gender specialist. But like, you can see how well that went overall by my thread about it

It's just so relaxing!
Also, I'm sick, so that's fun. But seriously, I've been sick for a few days now, and I can't even tell if I'm getting better or worse. Luckily, it isn't too bad—just a stuffy nose and sore throat. I've been taking my medication and drinking lots of tea, water, and lemonade, as well as eating some honey.

We figured out there's something in the apartment thats been kind of malicious and seems to feed off of anger. It had been pretty subtle up until last night when I suggested that might be the case. Then when we went to sleep and turned off the lights it went absolutely crazy. It felt really threatening and gave him goosebumps and i was just scared tbh but we couldnt figure out where it was coming from so we trashed the ouija board just in case and left some lights on and burned some sage. Even still, i havent slept well. and he's not home so i don't really feel entirely comfortable going back to sleep even in broad daylight because i was having some nightmares.
