(no problem boblem)
Ceto kept pace with the vessel with ease, twisting and splashing in the wake. Breaking the surface, she looked up just in time to see a face poke over the edge. Flipping onto her back, she gave him a smile before diving backwards into the water. The pale shape disappeared under the boat and emerged on the other side. She whistled softly to try and catch his attention, already enjoying this little game. At least he wasn't shooting at her yet, that was always an improvement.

Victor a deep breath and exhales in order to control himself. He wanted to try and be calm when normally he would be yelling and screaming. "Any idea why the pirates took my daughter? Where was she when she was taken?"

Neerav looked at him "My guess is they may try and get money for her, she is royalty so they may want a random." He said stressing slightly, he didn't want his king blowing up he was a bit surprised at how calm he was taking it. "She was in the market when she was taken along with her maid Becca.

[ IDK tbh i was waiting for liz :,) ]
Baron shook his head, plopping both crates on top of the one Blair was sitting on, pushing them towards her slowly to shove her off. They were smaller, and easier for people to trip on if he just left them next to the crate instead. Did Blair really have to clean her knives here, too? She was making it seem like just as much of a chore as his. Leaning forward, he snatched the rag from her hand.
Ambrose's eyes widened- he'd never seen a merperson up close. They'd never strayed close enough to the shore he grew up on for him to be able to interact like this, but he'd seen them many a time, even if looking from a distance. Whipping his head around at the sound of the whistle, he trotted over to the other side of the ship and peered over, grinning at the sight of her. He gave her a little wave.

She grinned as, a few moments later, his head popped into view once more. Flipping onto her back to lazily swim next to the boat, she waved back up at him. Then Ceto went into her typical routine . Sometimes it worked, others it did not, but it always started in the same way. Raising a hand to her mouth, she touched her thumb to her lips in and tilted her hand in a gesture that seemed to be commonly understood as looking for a drink.

Ambrose watched closely, understanding what her gesture meant pretty easily. He pursed his lips, turned to look over his shoulder, then rummaged around in one of his pockets. He knew merpeople were rather tricky folk, having dealt with them stealing from his fishing traps more than once, but he couldn't help be relate to them, being slightly inhuman himself. It was a very stretched kinship, but it was better than nothing. Pulling a small bottle of whiskey out, he tossed it to her. It wasn't his, probably Mason's or something. It was always helpful to have a bargaining chip.

Mitzi could into roll her eyes, slowly heading towards the door. "Do we have to remind you again? We're privateers, first of all. Essentially, legal pirates. You think the Commodore can get pirates to rescue the princess?" She couldn't possibly understand why they wanted to "rescue" her anyways. She didn't believe it for a second. "Go ahead and call the Navy trash all you want, but can you really say anything as a pirate?"
Sorry got distracted playing a game with my family

Blair protested, jerking forward. Furrowing her brow, she conceded, standing up. If she were more of a pirate she might've threatened him with the blade currently grasped very tightly in her hand. Instead, she glanced downwards, shoving the blade into its sheath, holstered to her waist. "Could have asked me to move, jackass." Contrary to her words, Blair actually liked Baron. Maybe it was due to some emotional issues that she refused to address, but she saw Baron as a sort of sibling. Her hand extended, palm out, with an expectant look. If he wasn't going to tell her what he wanted, neither was she.

"What price would that be?" Victor asked his eyes narrowed as he looked at her. He wondered if she wanted money, some land, or even a spot in the castle.
Meanwhile Lance and Julie straighten up when Ezra Whitaker comes abroad the ship. They stand at attention until he tells them to dismiss.

"I may call the Navy whatever I please." Jacqueline snapped, her notorious temper beginning to show as she glared at the woman. "Because while you lot were galavanting throughout the seven seas, boasting of your titles, an Admiral...." Taking a quick breath, she calmed herself down slightly and said in a softer, yet powerful tone, "The Admiral let my father bleed out in front of me while he molested me. The last thing my father saw was his successor having his way with me because my father didn't give him his blessing. My father, Fleet Admiral (shoot I forgot his first name) Kensington, was killed by his second in command and no one cared. While the Admiral was comforted for the loss of his commanding officer, I was shunned from society, the Navy had told everyone that I had tried to elope with a pirate who was to be father of my unborn child and that pirate have murdered my father because he could. And that Admiral he was deemed a hero, people went out of their way to praise him. I was chased from my home, left with nothing. No one in the Navy wanted to risk their reputation by giving me a few coins for shelter. And while I too grew up believing pirates were the cruelest people, I've learned they're the kindest amongst men today." Raising her voice, she threatened lowly, "So you tell me I have no right. Tell me I have nothing to go on because I'm a pirate. I just call officers in the Navy names and insult them because I have nothing better to do."

The bottle splashed down a few feet from Ceto and she twisted around to dive after it. A second or so later, she surfaced once more, gripping the bottle in her hands. She wasn't sure why sailors found this so fascinating, considering they saw each other drink quite often, but she presumed it was for the same reason they liked to watch the whales breach or the osprey when they were hunting. They saw her as a strange creature of the sea and one that just happened to be a little smarter than the average porpoise. Might as well have a little fun with it, perhaps she could get something out of this later. Opening the bottle, she took a small swing and immediately grimaced as the familiar burning sensation ran down her throat. Twisting around in the water, her spikes flared and splashed the surface. She could feel the effects of it already beginning to slowly settle in, her tolerance wasn't particularly high, so she swam over to the side of the boat and grabbed hold of where the rigging was anchored. She had to pull herself up out of the water slightly, but it was worth it to relax and let the ship carry her along. Looking back up at Ambrose, she raised the bottle towards him in a toast before taking another sip. Afterwards, she went straight into singing a few bars of a sailing shanty she'd picked up on her travels.
