That's a hard question to answer... There are so many cats! My favorites are per clan are probably Ivypool, Mistystar, Breezepelt, and Tawnypelt. Is is weird that I think Bramblestar and Mistystar kind of go together? Not like a ship though... I personally can't think of favorite books/scenes, I mostly write my own mini-series. By the way, dragons are awesome!

Firestar is literally the worst cat in the series. Dovewing is a close second.
Also, I don't ship Fire&Sand. Fire&Cinder is far better.

Know what I hate
The Erins had two whole serieses leading up to a big dramatic event
Now this sounds like the perfect way to kill off some cats right?
Nope. Instead of having them die in the DF battle, Hazeltail, Foxleap, Toadstep and I think some other cats were killed by off-screen greencough
What was even the point of that??

SkyClan's Destiny makes me salty... it was just... really really frustrating for me.
It was like watching a small, brand new and rather weak clan running around trying to be like Firestar but in the process, everything falling apart, cats turning against each other, a group of rogues that look friendly at first but end up being selfish jerks who drag other cats into their own problems, and on and on and on drama this drama that. The ending infuriated me as well- since they acted like nothing was wrong and everything had a happy ending- when they literally just completely failed in their foreign policy and made things worse than they originally were. In fact, if I remember correctly, nothing WAS wrong. Red was happy living with her love and, in mad rage and frustration Stick brought an entire clan over and beat them all up. Yeah, I know they weren't the nicest rogues- but some of them were, including Red and Harvey.
It was just sickening seeing SkyClan- in the midst of their own clan crisis of disunity and lack of loyalty to each other- waste their time on a bunch of troubled rogues- and which caused the death of a cat who was happy and living with the love of her life. They were all STUPID- and in the end Leafstar and her lovestruck daylight-warrior walk off in the sunset like nothing ever happened O_O"
Sorry, I've been holding that rant in for so long and I just had to get it out. SkyClan were so ridiculous in this book it made me tear my hair out.

DoTC is a good series, but I stopped reading it after TFB.
I just couldn't finish it for some reason and I've never really picked up any other Erin Hunter book since then... :'c
Now I'm worried about how I'm gonna read all those books that came out since then

I will despise spottedleafxfirestar till the day i die. Like seriously, she is old enough to be firepaw mother, and firepaw JUST met her. To make it worse, Erins killed spottedleaf a 2nd time JUST BECAUSE FIRESTAR DID NOT EVEN HAVE TO MAKE A CHOICE IN BETWEEN SPOTTEDLEAF AND SANDSTORM. Even after in firestar quest, firestar states that sandstorm is not second best to spottedleaf. It just throws that out the window because if spottedleaf was still in star clan, firestar would have to make the choice between them. Like seriously, that was so absurd! Sandstorm deserves a better cat than that stupid furball! (It made it even worse because FIRESTAR HAD KITS WITH HER)

I got salty at HollyLeaf's death. I also got salty at AshFur the entire book.
I get salty at a-lot of characters. Can't really blame me can you?
And the fandom? The fandom makes me real salty. Lemons? Srs?
They're cats why you write lemons on cats? Please? Stop?

I'm also a salt storm because of FireStar. Forgot to mention that. Hated how FireStar died. *Spolier* "Oh hey, look I killed this guy in a simple battle that lasted five seconds despite the entire story leading up to this. Oh look a pretty tree- OH MY GOD I'M DEAD."
It's just. My salt intake is getting unhealthy now.

Am I the only one who highly dislikes Hollyleaf?
She's probably one of my least favorite characters in the entire series, but everyone else seems to love her for some reason??

Honestly, the Spottedleaf romance with Firepaw/heart/star was kinda unrealistic. I doubt a medicine cat would instantly fall in love with the random kittypet apprentice (barely older than a kit) so much that she remained his love interest even long after she was dead. and then on top of that when it came time for Fire to die, the Erins just killed off Spottedleaf....like if you're gonna spend LITERALLY 5+ series foreshadowing a plot point, don't destroy it on a whim.
