The Basics of Pokemon Collections
In Pokemon Collections you mainly do what you'd expect; Collect Pokemon! Common Pokemon, Shinies, Legendaries and similar. Obtain Pokemon through the Lucky Wheel, breeding, winning contests, events, searching, trading, tournaments, random encounters and more. You can also chat to fellow Pokemon fans if you so wish. Train your Pokemon to evolve them, participate in Pokemon related contests and try to collect them all! Rules
-Follow all Forum Rules -Don't cheat -Be nice -Have fun
Credits
All the sprites used in this topic were made by Game Freak, and all 3D Pokemon models were ripped by PkParaíso. I do not own Pokemon, obviously. Feel free to use any sprites you see in this topic. Though not needed, the person who ripped this (PkParaíso) said they would appreciate being credited. It's not necessary, but it would be nice. Just don't claim them to be yours and you should be fine I'd also like to give some credit to the other interesting and fun forum games that have inspired me to make this. The main ones are "Monster World" and "Pokemon adventure game". Though both of the topics are dead at the time of writing this, they were both really cool and I'm glad I joined them while they were alive. I love all the interesting and unique forum games that pop-up every now and then, and they all deserve a little bit of credit, just for being so awesome <3

Events and ContestsThere is nothing going on right now. Joining
To join, simply post the number of one of the pokeballs below 2 - A light grey, almost white, Pokeball with two dark grey spots 3 - A polished light blue Pokeball, light shining off it 4 - An orange Pokeball with flame markings 7 - A marine blue Pokeball with yellow hexagon pattern on top 8 - A black Pokeball with a white ribbon on it Extra Info
The Lucky Wheel You can spin the Lucky Wheel once a day (resets at 00:00 CET). Simply say you want to spin it and you'll get a random, stage 1 Pokemon. Has a chance of being a shiny. No Legendaries or special Pokemon can be gotten from this. Breeding If you have two Pokemon in the same egg-group (I'd recommend checking Bulbapedia) or a Ditto, you can breed your Pokemon in hopes of getting a Shiny or getting another one of the female Pokemon or the Ditto's partner. Simply say which Pokemon you want to put in the daycare and check back every 6 hours. Make sure to pick up your eggs so new ones can appear!
Shinies, Special Versions and Legendaries The first shiny is the easiest to find. Once a shiny is found, the chance of getting one is decreased.
Special Versions can include unique colored Pokemon, sprite edits and fusions. They can only be gotten as prizes in contests and tournaments or as special event Pokemon.
Legendaries can only be gotten through events, contests. Searching You can search for Pokemon once every 2 hours (not counting when I'm offline, since I won't be able to do it). To search, simply say you want to go searching for Pokemon. I'll give you a few random routes to pick from and depending on what you pick, you'll encounter a Pokemon. You can throw a Pokeball at it, run, or use an item you randomly obtain by being on the topic. Use the right item on the right Pokemon and you might increase the catch-rate. The cooldown starts once your encounter ends. You can flee and search for another Pokemon, but there is only a 50% chance you'll find anything. The third time it's 25%. After that, there is no chance of finding a Pokemon. You can also send one of the Pokemon in your party scavenging. Pokemon will come back about 6 hours after they left, most likely finding an item of some sort.
Training Training levels up your Pokemon so that they can learn new moves and evolve. To train your Pokemon, simply state what kind of training you want to do. You can train 5 times a day. If you want to train one Pokemon 5 times or for example one 2 and the other 3, you can do all 5 at once in one post if you so wish. It resets every night at 00:00 CET.
Currency You start off with 250 Pokedollars and 5 Pokeballs. You get 50 Pokedollars every day. You can also win Pokedollars by battling other trainers. Special Abilities Special Abilities are abilities that you only need to have while on this topic. While fighting in a tournament or in another way through Pokemon Showdown, you can switch out this ability for something else. Some examples include Pickup and Honey Gather. If you have questions about anything else, just ask ^^Note: Cooldown times are subject to change. As for battles, they are being considered, but it would be a lot more simplified battle mechanic. Whether or not battles will actually happen at all is still under consideration.
Market
PokeballA regular Pokeball with a 1x catch rate 50P
Greatball
An improved Pokeball with a 1.5x catch rate 100P
Luxuryball
A Pokeball that helps increase the friendliness of Pokemon 150P Soothe Bell
Increases the friendliness of a Pokemon that holds it. If the bell is held long enough, it makes certain Pokemon evolve when they level up 500P
Old RodAn old fishing rod. Used to catch common-uncommon Pokemon in water. 250P

Hello~! I was wondering if you need an assistant of anything like that when it comes to this, just in case you need to take a break and need someone to take over or if you're not on in general. I run my own forum games, one being Creation of the Clans and the other is Warrior Cats Story Mode. If you're interesting, let me know (Also, for the idea of battles, you could use Pokemon Showdown, maybe host events in which people can compete for a prize like a rare shiny or even a custom pokemon. Adding special pokemon like fusions or a special event christmas version of a pokemon would also help!)

I was considering joining them, but I'm not very consistent with roleplaying and such ;w; Really like the ideas though! And sure, an assistant would be very helpful. If you'd like to help, that would be great! On the subject of battles, Pokemon Showdown might be a good idea. The only problem is I'm not very familiar with it. Might have to look into it at some point... Thanks for the tip! As for adding special Pokemon, I feel like that might become a problem. Since I'm going to use animated sprites made out of the 3D Pokemon models, editing them might be a bit difficult. I might be able to do some recoloring, but I don't think I can do much else... Adding things to them and trying to make fusions would probably look messy, but special versions of Pokemon in different colors might work. They won't be anything too special though. I'll have to look into it and do some testing.

I got quite competitive in that some time ago XD I like it because it's not required for you to download it. And I was thinking that the special pokemon could stick to the older sprites, it would be easier for people to spot and easier to make edits to. I could try to do edits on 3D sprites, they just wouldn't be animated. (Also, I'm going to end up joining this) I choose the first pokeball, the green one.

I might join at some point then, but right now I have other things on my hands. That, and I'm not good at keeping info up-to-date and all that stuff ;w; I tried to figure out if I could use Pokemon Showdown, but I don't think it will be much help to me. The problem is it's a bit complicated, and it would be difficult for me to re-create the Pokemon in that. However, I could set up tournaments. Though it won't include the Pokemon on this topic, it would still be a Pokemon-related competition. I might be able to make a tournament where people compete using their own copies of either the newest Pokemon games or X and Y. It all depends on what the members own (if we get enough with the same games to hold a tournament that is x,D). As for special Pokemon, I figured out a way to make color edits on the animated 3D sprites. They aren't too amazing, but they work, and don't look too out-of-place, depending on what I use to make them. Also, it isn't too difficult. I was considering trying to do some edits using the older sprites though. As for you trying to do some edits, you could try, but you'd have to be a wizard to make changes to anything but the color without it looking odd. I can't imagine it being easy qwq
Congratulations! Your first Pokemon is... Bulbasaur! Nickname: N/A | Species: Bulbasaur | Gender: Male | Classification: Starter Level: 5 | HP: 6 | Attack: 4 | Defense: 3 | Speed: 3 Would you like to give it a nickname?

Nickname: N/A | Species: Bulbasaur | Gender: Male | Classification: Starter Level: 5 | HP: 6 | Attack: 4 | Defense: 3 | Speed: 3 Would you like to give it a nickname? Alright, I can help out with Showdown. It looks intimidating, but it's quite easy. To enter the existing pokemon that had in, all they would need to do it go into TeamBuilder, Select New Team, Add Pokemon, Add all of their pokemon with all of their moves and such, click <Team, click <List, Go back to Home and then get paired up with someone randomly. As for how to tournamentwould work, they would be randomly matched with another user. Here's an example base, you would randomly put players in the first row, then they would have to win to work their way up. In case you're still confused, here's a video tutorial. It's a lot easier and convenient than everyone having to purchase the same game. Here's an example of a 3d sprite edit (I fused Furret with Sylveon) and a 2d sprite edit. I think 2d sprites would be easier to make, but it's up to you ^-^

Yes, I would like to nickname him "Spuds" I would like to spin the Lucky Wheel The main problem I have with Pokemon Showdown is that I can't randomly generate the stats for the Pokemon. I wouldn't be able to put in a level 5 Pokemon and then generate the stats I need. I could probably use another site for that, but I don't want it to be too complicated. I'd have to make a Pokemon on Pokemon Showdown every time a new one is gotten. However, we could probably do a thing where people make their own teams on Pokemon Showdown and have a tournament with that. I could just put a rule where their team can only consist of Pokemon that they have on this topic. I found a site I can use for managing the tournament with ease. However, if we do end up using this, I'll probably remove stats all together and only leave the levels, for the tournaments and evolving Pokemon. Wow... That's a lot better than I expected. Though, I have to agree. 2D sprites are better for this. The 3D one is impressive, don't get me wrong, but the face looks a bit off to me. Also, 2D sprites do stand out more and are a lot easier to deal with. I really like the Sandslash and Raichu fusion! Okay, so that means for possible special Pokemon, currently recolors of 3D sprites and 2D fusions are possible. 3D fusions are possible as well, but I personally prefer the 2D ones. Things like that would probably be very uncommon prizes in competitions or event-related, though. I'll add it in a bit!

For Stats, I would just cut them out and add Nature instead. So if a pokemon has their highest stat in Defense and lowest stat in Speed, their nature would be Relaxed. And letting others build their team would be the best thing to do, just make sure to go over it to check that everything is correct. (Also, I noticed that you don't add moves to pokemon in this, so would they get to pick or would you do level up learning moves?) I can help host the tournaments. We should have minimum and maximum level points, like Levels 5-20 can join a certain tournament. The higher level the tournament is, the better prize they get. I agree, the face turned out a little weird but I tried to keep it consistent with how Sylveon's eyes are. XD I've been spriting for years so I'm not too bad at it. I had a couple ideas I wanted to share with you, but I'll message you them instead of clogging this up with ideas. ^-^

Yes, I'd like to nickname him "Blanket" I'd like to go searching for pokemon I'd like to send Blanket out to scavenge I'd like to normal train Spuds Natures and stats would be hard to keep an eye on, so I'll probably just drop stats and that all together and let the members build on their teams stats, natures and such. As for moves, I was planning to add them tonight (or tomorrow, since it's getting late qwq). I didn't know whether or not I thought they were needed till now. Moves will work like normal. You can have a max of 4 moves and you get them through leveling up. You can choose whether or not to replace a move. TMs can eventually be added as well. Okay, thanks. That would be nice I can tell. I don't think I would of been able to do something like that myself! I saw. I replied to it a few minutes ago : P
Okay! I'll add it soon. -|- You head north, following a path out of the town. You reach a split in the road, the path splitting into three. You see a sign in the middle of the road. Keep heading north, and you'll reach the Noisy Woods. Head to the east, and you'll reach the coast line and the Rocky Beach. To the west of you is the Sunflower Meadows. To which place do you go? 1. Head north towards the Noisy Woods 2. Head east towards the Rocky Beach 3. Head west towards the Sunflower Meadows -|- Blanket waves it's tail in goodbye and goes searching, hoping to find something interesting to bring back. -|- Spuds trains for a while, tackling into stuff in his path. Spuds grew to level 6!

Since you don't have a fishing rod or a Pokemon that knows Surf, you decide to look around the beach in search for Pokemon. After searching for a while, you find something! It's a Corphish! Species: Corphish | Gender: Female | Classification: Uncommon Level: 5 | Moves: Bubble What do you do? 1. Throw a Pokeball at it (25% chance of success. You have 5 Pokeballs left) 2. Send out a Pokemon in an attempt to weaken it (Available Pokemon: Spuds) 3. Flee -|- Blanket has returned! Blanket will be waiting for you when you come back.

☆starLightCuriosity Option 2: Throw out Spuds to weaken it. (Also, for battling trainers, would they be NPCs or other players?) You throw out Spuds. The Corphish flinches at the sight of the grass type and gets ready for a possible attack. What do you do? 1. Tackle 2. Growl 3. Throw a Pokeball 4. Flee (As of right now, players. But, I might make some NPC-like battles later. But, they'd require the member to have Pokemon Showdown.)

1. Tackle 2. Growl 3. Throw a Pokeball 4. Flee (As of right now, players. But, I might make some NPC-like battles later. But, they'd require the member to have Pokemon Showdown.) Option 1, Tackle (Alright~!) Spuds tackles the Corphish, the Pokemon falling backwards onto it's back. The Corphish gets up, and attacks your Pokemon with Bubble. It's not very effective, but it's a critical hit! Spuds takes the hit, but manages to keep his balance. He's a bit hurt, but looks okay for now. As for the wild Pokemon, it has seen better days, but it's still standing. You're not sure if it can take another hit. What do you do? 1. Tackle (ca. 50% chance of the Pokemon fainting) 2. Growl 3. Throw a Pokeball (ca. 75% chance of the capture being successful) 4. Flee
