DuskHeart chuckled and padded over to sit behind FoxKit. "lets start with something simple then. AshBlaze, do you want to help me demonstrate some moves, if need be?" the she cat asked.
"Sure. something super simple is a front paw blow. so watch, and see what i mean." getting to his paws, he pads over to duskheart, and, being careful to keep his claws sheathed, he swiped at her head lightly. "aim for the head. but remember, you two arent looking to hurt. just practice" he reminded them. with a nod of his head, he indicated for them to both try, one at a time.

"Okay well let's go to the training clearing then." said Darkstar.
"Okay ." Said Foxkit imitating Ashblaze.
Elmkit tried to dodge Foxkit's blow but was unable to. He waited for his turn to try.

DuskHeart purred. "nice job FoxKit! now you try, ElmKit" she urged.
AshBlaze watched the pair of kits contently. he liked elmkit, despite his attitude problems earlier.

Elmkit swiped at Foxkit his claws sheathed.

DuskHeart winced slightly as elmkit swung, but chuckled a little too. "nice job! now, i have a question. if an enemy gets you on your back, whats the one area that is open for you to attack?" the warrior asked.
AshBlaze glanced at the she-cat, knowing what move she is talking about and wondering about why she asked that. but he wasnt going to question her in front of the kits. instead, he just waited to see what the kits had to say.

DuskHeart shook her head. "good guesses, but not quite." she meowed. glancing to ashblaze, she let the tom answer.
"its their stomach. its very sensitive, and vulnerable. if you are ever caught on your back, use your claws on their belly. its a quick way to regain control of a fight, and more often then not end it." he explained. "we wont practice that today though."

"Oh" the kits said in unison.
"I think Darkstar was looking for you both but she just left the camp with some apprentices." Said Foxkit.

DuskHeart exchanged a glance with AshBlaze. "thanks for telling us FoxKit. we should be going then. but we will find time again soon to talk with you guys!" she assured the kits. with a flick of her tail, she padded away, and towards the entrance.
AshBlaze dipped his head to the kits, before bounding after DuskHeart. "alright. let's go see whats up" he meowed, padding beside his fellow clanmate. maybe darkstar wanted to discuss apprentices?

DuskHeart and AshBlaze padded up to their leader. "we were told you wanted to see us?" they both say, glancing at each other as they do. no they had not planned that, but it happened anyways.

"i could take on FoxKit" DuskHeart meowed in response. she was excited to finally get an apprentice of her own.
AshBlaze dipped his head. "then i can take shellkit" he added, flicking his tail tip. he had hoped to mentor elmkit, but whoever was given to him by DarkStar, he would do his best to train them to be the best warrior they can be.

Mosspaw padded ahead of the other apprentices and Darkstar. "Follow me," he said, before heading off towards the territory that he had discovered while on a patrol the day before.

(poor Ashblaze if i had more warriors that could take one that would be perfect maybe we can get someone else in here)
"Good I will have the ceremony in a couple days. Take care to think about your first lesson. Now I'm going to take these guys out. Go about your day." Said Darkstar as she followed Mosspaw.

Mosspaw padded onwards, looking back to check if the others were following. Once he saw that they were, he broke into a run and raced towards the area where he had found the sandy clearing.

Darkstar padded after Mosspaw. Trying to decide how she was going to go about the training and assess each apprentice at their own level. Maybe I'll assess them on how they work as a team and learn from each other

Mosspaw bolted towards the sandy clearing. Once he reached the clearing, he halted and waited for the others to follow.

Ashpaw looked at the other two apprentices, unsure of what to do. Darkstar just said to attack her. Should they work together? Should they come up with a strategy? Or should they just, well, attack Darkstar? While Ashpaw wanted to know more, he knew battles were fast-paced and there was no time for questions, so he leaped at Darkstar, his claws sheathed so he wouldn't hurt her. |

While Ashpaw leaped at Darkstar, Mosspaw got behind the leader, preparing to pounce.

Guys! We have to work as a team! Emeraldpaw hissed and stalked around her leader. She then pounced on her back, gently pressing her paw pads into Darkstar's fur to get a grip.

After Emeraldpaw leaped onto the leader's back, Mosspaw jumped in and ran his paw over Darkstar's leg. He kept his claws sheathed so the leader wouldn't get hurt.

Emeraldpaw got bucked off, she couldn't hold any longer. She stalked intimately around Darkstar. Emeraldpaw then pounced and rolled under Darkstar's belly and gently jabbed at her underbelly with her paws.

Darkstar took the blows and as Emeraldpaw dropped under her she layed down on the apprentice. She shot a paw at the other two apprentices too. They were really work hard together

Emeraldpaw heaved as the leader layed down on her. Why didn't I think that she would do that? Emeraldpaw hissed to herself. She wiggled and wiggled but she couldn't get out of the leader's grip.

Mosspaw watched as Darkstar laid on top of Emeraldpaw, shooting out a paw and landing a blow on Mosspaw in the process. Mosspaw backed up and pounced, landing on his leader's back.
