Niq's eyes widened as she suddenly shifted, not expecting such a change. His throat went dry as he looked at the new figure in front of him. Something had changed about his aura. He didn't want to admit it, but this girl Isolde had shifted into, reminded Niq of his last girlfriend...the one he left behind. "I don't think you want to hear the answer to that." He spoke quietly, his eyes focused on his hands. The playful Niq had randomly disappeared, and quiet Niq was now sitting on her couch.

Isolde frowned, obviously the look sher had chosen was a little too close to home. So she shifted back to herself, but there was some streaks in her hair that were various shades of purple that stuck out against her wavy, black hair. Either she didn't notice the streaks or was ignoring them. Gently shoving Niq to try. "Nah, I can any answer." Isolde lied with a smile, trying to make it seem like it was nothing. "There are a lot of pretty girls out there so I'm not going to discriminate."

"No, it's not that." He laughed softly, trying to shake it off, "I may have been attracted to that type of girl, but not anymore." Niq acknowledged, making him question why he was even explaining it to Isolde. Somehow she got words out of him without saying anything, and he wondered how she had such a firm grasp on him. "You know, I've only dated one person, despite the rumors." He suddenly mentioned, catching her gaze.

Isolde slowly nodded as Niq seemed to be explaining himself even though he really didn't have to, but it was still nice to know. "Only one? Jeez I've dated a lot of guys, but never gets anywhere after the first or second date or if they do it ends badly. I'm just really bad at relationships of any kind." She admitted. If he seemed to think that he needed to explain himself she might as well join in to make him not feel uncomfortable being the only one really talking. Running her hand through her suddenly multicolored hair at the thought.

( so sorry! i had the busiest week! )
"Sorry, that was random..." He muttered, giving his head a small shake, "The girl you shifted into just reminded me of her a lot. I guess I just haven't seen a face like that in years." Niq shrugged, wanting to already forget about the incident. He left that girl behind, and now he's interested in someone else. He kept telling himself to think about the reasons why he was here and how much better her enjoyed it.

( Don't worry about it cx I was pretty busy myself. )
Isolde nodded as she listened, getting the vibe that he didn't want to discuss it. "Well I should give a warning before I shift anyway." She shrugged off, not entirely wanting to keep talking about the subject anyway. Quickly standing up and stretching while yawning. "You know I think there is some ice cream in the freezer, would you like some?" She offered. Isolde knew full well that there was ice cream since she and her friends always had some on hand for any occasion, it was unhealthy but delicious.

Niq chuckled softly and gave a nod, "Who doesn't love ice cream." He smirked. He was already forgetting the conversation they just had, focusing on their current one. He wondered what type of ice cream she had, even though he liked literally every flavor. His go to stress, sad, any mood food was ice cream so it was down for the idea.

Isolde flashed Niq a quick grin before heading into her kitchen and opened the freezer, pulling out a few different cartons before stepping back to where she could clearly see him. "Okay what kind do you want? Turtle, brownie fudge, cookies and cream or strawberry cheesecake? You can have all of them, or just two... Or even just one if that's how you roll." She shrugged. Not all of these flavors even went together well but it didn't really matter. Ice cream was a stress food of hers that had become a group stress food for her entire family and most friends.
