"Well, I mean, of course not. And no offense Eve, but... why you? Why not, I don't know, call the head angel up in heaven if you want help with something?" Kevin asked, face turning a bit red as he shrugged, glancing back away from her.

"It's been nothing but chaos since....well since Feathers decided to play God." Eve stated, shoving her hands in her pockets with a sigh. "Maybe he thought having a hunter on his side could help?"

"It's been nothing but chaos since....well since Feathers decided to play God." Eve stated, shoving her hands in her pockets with a sigh. "Maybe he thought having a hunter on his side could help?" "Yeah, maybe," Kevin shrugged. Dean just shook his head at the mention of Cas. "He just wants to help," he said, a but sadly, "he's just... Cas makes a lot of mistakes."

Nodding softly, Eve patted his shoulder and said, "I know. He's getting used to the whole angel with free will thing, I get it." Sam cleared his throat and said, "So Eve, has being a Nephilim helped out any cases of yours?" Smirking, she nodded and said, "I can see demons if that's what you mean. It's like my eyes look right into the possessed person and all I see is ugly. Demons are disgusting in every sense."

"They are damn disgusting," Dean grumbled as they made their way into the garage. He fished his keys out of his pocket, unlocking the Impala and sliding into the driver's seat. Kevin went around the other side, sliding into the back, since apparently Eve had shotgun, and even if she didn't, Sam would be sitting up there anyways.

Sam dove for the passenger door but thanks to Eve's strength (victorious laugh) she managed to shove him away and slide into the seat with a triumphant grin. "Come on! You cheated." Eve feigned surprise and looked around in confusion. "Sam I think you're just mad a little girl like me can beat you."

[[ so, how are you today? i feel like we never actually talk. ]]
"Sam, just hop in the back, maybe she'll let you switch if we stop," Dean grunted, firing up the engine. A loud guitar riff blared from the radio at an ungodly volume, prompting Kevin to cover his ears, as the engine roared. "Did you know this whole thing comes with a garage door opener?" Dean yelled over the racket, fishing it out from between the seats and clicked the biggest button on it, the hanger sized door behind them beginning to open up.

I'm good! Just watched Wicked and it was AMAZINGGGG! But yeah, we should talk more you seem really nice ) "Yeah Sam, play nice," Eve taunted, banging her head with the drums and pretending to play the guitar, mimicking the guitar's chords with her voice. Her green eyes widened and she let out a whistle before remarking, "Damn. Why didn't I find this place?"

[[ i love wicked! i saw it once when i was nine, i think. you seem nice too though! ]]
"You ain't a Man of Letters," Dean informed, pulling the car out, and closing the big hanger door again, waiting until it was firmly shut before he began to pull the car down the driveway, smacking the hand of Kevin, which had been reaching to the front of the car to turn the music down, away.

Sure! ) Stepping out of the car, Eve stretched her arms and yawned, her weary gaze falling onto the old hotel. "I can feel him. It's old magic, quite powerful, right in front of us." Sam followed her gaze and shrugged. "Okay. Let's go find this angel."

"I can't feel much of anything," Kevin replied, stumbling a bit as feeling came back into his legs when he unfolded himself from the insides of the car. He shut the door with a snap, popping his back as he looked around, and then scooted out of the way for Dean to get out, who then proceeded to lock the door up.

"You can't?" Eve asked in surprise, the feeling quite strong for her. So strong it made her head spin, her eyes waters, her blood pump rapidly as she walked closer to the front doors. "Metatron is in there." Sam opened the door, letting Eve walk ahead of him, her eyes wide and mouth agape.

"I'm a prophet, not an angel detector," Kevin replied, following after, to him, the only things he felt were the brush of the cool winter air on his cheeks, and then the stuffy, very familiar feel of an old heater replacing it as he headed through the front doors. It smelled like mothballs in here. Dean followed after. He was somewhat on edge, the feel of the revolver in his pocket all too familiar and heavy as he shouldered his way through the dingy glass doors.

What have you found so far, Feathers? Eve prayed towards Castiel, ignoring the desk clerk as her eyes landed on a pile of books outside of the far left door. "Metatron loves books, all he ever does is read." Reaching for the door, she jiggled the handle and cursed when she felt it was locked. Stepping back, she kicked down the door with ease and Sam slipped in ahead of her, his gun raised and ready to fire if need be.

"Nothing," came Castiel's voice, as he appeared behind Kevin, who had just entered the room. The prophet nearly leaped out of his skin, clutching out his chest as Dean cursed from behind him somewhere. The angel just looked mildly confused as he peered at the group, like he didn't understand why he'd just scared the crap out of them.

Following Sam, Eve pulled her angel blade out of her jacket pocket and twisted it with ease, ready to fight in case of an ambush. But she sighed in relief when she saw a man sitting by the fire, deeply focused on a book in his hand. Smiling at the men behind her, she cleared her throat and asked, "Metatron?" The angel looked up and smiled, closing his book before standing up as he said, "Ah, Ms. Genevieve. I see you've brought some guest." Clapping Sam on the back, she smiled widely and replied, "Indeed. This is Sam, Dean," she continued pointing at the hunter behind her before grabbing Kevin's arm, "the prophet, Kevin Tran," and nodding towards Castiel she said, "and the angel Castiel. We hoped you'd be able to help us. With the trials that is. We wish to seal the Gates of Hell but Kevin here has had trouble reading the tablet recently. We were hoping you could translate it for us?" Metatron studied the group with interest before his eyes landed on Castiel. "She didn't mention you."

Dean had thought that Metatron would've been more, oh, imposing, Scribe of God and all. But then again, scribes were just big nerds, so... yeah, his looks kinda made sense, so Dean dropped it, staring warily as Kevin was pulled forward by Eve, stumbling on his feet and mumbling out a greeting to the pudgy angel. Meanwhile, Cas was looking the other angel over, eyebrows raised as he asked, "Am I a problem?"

"Oh, no no not at all. Not as long as you're not broadcasting me to all the other angels." Metatron said before turning to Kevin and beckoning him to follow as he walked back towards his seat. "So, Mr. Tran. How do you like my work?" Eve turned to look at the three men still behind her and mouthed, 'Well? What's the verdict?' Sam shrugged as he lowered his gun, seeing no threat from the angel.

"Um, it's..." Kevin began, scurrying after him to go back to the seat, standing by as the angel sat, "it's a bit hard to decipher, but other than that, it's good." He hoped that that was the right thing to say. This was... well, totally different than Cas. Just, there was a different aura entirely about the angel, and he wasn't sure if he liked it or not. Meanwhile, Cas just shook his head slightly, crossing his arms over his chest, though Dean did seem a bit more relaxed than before.

"Well, the angels trained you to read the tablets, didn't they?" Metatron asked in confusion before adding, "I myself have been teaching Genevieve here for almost a year and she can only just read it. Being a prophet, it shouldn't take you too long, how long did you spend in the desert?"

"I, um.." Kevin said, scratching at the back of his head as he chuckled a little bit awkwardly, "I never spent any time in the desert, and the angels didn't teach me anything..." Well, Cas had tried to help a little bit, but he wasn't the biggest support when it came to deciphering ancient tablets.

ughhh chemistry has got me all kinds of stressed out ) " What?" Metatron exclaimed, standing up in shock. "The moment you become a prophet you should have begun training! Genevieve, why didn't you tell me?" Sam stepped in front of Eve and said, "No offense, but Eve doesn't have to tell you anything. You haven't been very giving with information." The angel's eyes widened and he said, "I've given her plenty of names!"

"Yes, but name's for what?" Cas asked, from where he had been looking at a stack of books, listening to the conversation. He had turned around now, head cocking to the side as he looked at the Scribe. It had been so long since they'd crossed paths, and he seemed no different than before. Cas supposed he himself must've definitely changed, but he also figured that Metatron didn't remember him.

"Demons," Metatron said in a bored tone as if stating the obvious. "Genevieve, you're a clever girl. I chose you for a reason." Raising an eyebrow. she stepped out from behind Sam and said, "Because I'm a Nephilim?" The angel laughed, shaking his head before replying, "Because you're a hunter who prays. My Father had a weak spot for you, he listened to your prayers personally. Even had me write some down for him." Eve's eyes widened and she asked, "You've seen Him? I thought he disappeared." Metatron nodded and, standing up and walking towards her said, "He did. But every so often, he sends me a prayer to write down. Your prayers are quite lovely. My favorite one was when you asked Him for nothing for yourself but instead asked Him to help your fellow hunters when the Leviathans broke free of Purgatory. You were bleeding out beside your dying mother and were still concerned for the others." Resting a hand on her shoulder, he smiled and said, "That made me see why He loved humans so much."

"You were what?" Dean asked Eve, as Metatron spoke of her bleeding out next to her mother. He'd never known that that happened, but he was silenced as he felt Cas' hand lightly fall on his shoulder, in a warning not to run his mouth at this moment, and for once, with a glance at the angel's face, he listened. Cas was perturbed by this whole thing, definitely. "You speak to God?" he questioned, voice nearly mystified.

"I listen when He calls," Metatron replied before smiling fondly at Eve. "You knew he was gone and you still prayed to him. Why?" Eve looked lost, too suprised to respond, but when she did, she said softly, "I had hope." Sam couldn't help but smile a bit; so he wasn't the only hunter who had believed in angels and Heaven before they came down to Earth. "I didn't think he'd be able to hear me, I didn't think he'd listen to me if he could." Metatron smiled at her words and said, "And He did. It surprised all of the Archangels, their Father favoring a Nephilim's prayers over angels."
