Ah, hello! I'm currently on the search for a literate role-play partner, and I hope this plot interests you! :3
Requirements:
Be literate (Using proper grammar and not many typos.) Be descriptive (Using imagery and strong language.) And lastly be able to type at least 25 lines per post.
The reason why is because I would like to improve my writing skills!
Plot:
My guy discovered he had the power to control fire. He can cause it to appear out of thin air, and he was immediately captured for government use, being tested on and everything. He was brainwashed, causing him to lose his sanity as he was going to be used as a weapon for the government. Soon after he escaped and ended up turning to a life of crime because he was forced to. Your girl on the other hand, has the power over water. She is the only one who is able to fight him, since they both had strong abilities. Your girl is sided with the police, and she is sent to capture him. The two of them end up meeting on the street late at night, and have a huge battle. My guy ends up losing, badly wounded and almost blacked out. What will be the outcome of this? Will your girl take him to the police as ordered? Or will she discover he isn't so bad, and was brainwashed by the government.
I was also thinking that they could have a burning hate towards each other, and that they would both have sarcastic personalities to make it even more fun. ;3

{Ah, hello there! I didn't expect to get someone so fast. We can just jump right into the RP and describe our characters as we go. Would you like to start, or do you want me to?}

{I'm like super tired, so I hope this all makes sense haha. Well, with that I'm gonna head off to bed. I'll be back tomorrow!!! :3}
Lucian was the kind of guy that people would call unlucky. He always used to find trouble no matter where he went, whether it was getting caught up in a fight, or something as foolish as taking a shortcut and ending up in gang territory. His life was fairly normal, besides all that unlucky business. Anyway, during one fight, he felt something was off. Then it happened. He landed a punch aimed at one thug's stomach, and all the sudden a burst of orange lit up the night, turning everything in its path into a charred crisp. It was just a punch, but he ended up causing a huge fire in front of him. He immediately fled the scene, not wanting to get caught. All of his pent up anger was just let loose in that one moment, and he knew he was in for a storm.
After some time with his powers, he ended up getting somewhat used to it. Although, the only bad thing about it was that his hands would get burned as well. Call it a side effect, but it was just a simple price to pay for having these powers. Nobody was exactly invincible from fire, not even him. Anyway, after security cameras had caught him multiple times around the city with his hand lit up from not being able to control himself, everything was traced back to him. And one day, there came a knock on his door. The government had come to 'question' him, but after he refused countless times, they ended up knocking him out and taking him away. To make things simple, he was experimented and tested on about his powers, causing him to pretty much go insane. Then they brainwashed him every night so he wouldn't know what the government was planning. Eventually he escaped as he was being transported back to his cell, before they forced him to do other things. This was all just the simple details, since he couldn't seem to remember much when he woke up, but he knew he would never forget them. Especially the torture. You couldn't simply forget something as bad as that.
When he had finally made it back to the city, he was a different person. He became a criminal, stealing and murdering to get what he wanted. The guy who could control fire became one of the most famous criminals, and the most dangerous one. Lucian knew everyone hated him, and what he was doing was wrong. He just couldn't stop himself. And nobody else could either.
The night was quiet aside from the occasional car and insects. The sky was cloudy, but the moonlight was prominent, casting an almost eerie glow on the city. Lucian was walking down the sidewalk, keeping towards the shadows. The streetlights were dim, and he seemed to be the only one out. Everyone else feared him, he guessed that was the reason the streets were so quiet. Maybe they thought they would be his next victim, which was absurd but also understandable. Anyway, Lucian stuffed his hands in his pockets. All this setting stuff on fire was exhausting and rather painful for his hands. He was dying for some sleep, and was heading for the abandoned apartment he had stumbled upon, something lucky once in his life. He was thinking about a million things that night as he was heading home, which added onto his exhaustion. Groaning to himself in annoyance, he turned a corner down another street, which happened to be across from the park he always used to go to. He had some good memories there, but it wasn't like he could remember any specific details.
Passing by a twenty-four hour coffee shop, he stopped to glance in, squinting through the bright light. Eyes drifting up towards the TV, he made out a couple words. Water and girl. Rushing inside, he stared at the TV with strong interest. It seemed like he wasn't the only strange person anymore. The newscaster had been interviewing a girl with the power to control water. They described her as a 'hero'. As she demonstrated it to the audience, a smirk appeared on his lips. Water, huh? Water and fire. Two elements, although they couldn't be more opposite. Looks like he had some business with someone. Turning to exit the shop, he heard the employees talking in a frantic whisper. Tch, looks like they already recognized him. Sporting a black hoodie with the hood up and burns all over it was obvious enough he guessed. He estimated would take less than five minutes for the police to find him. Or, maybe they would send the so-called 'hero' this time, thinking she would stand more of a chance against his flames. Luc stepped outside, but not before causing an explosion where the twenty-four hour coffee shop once stood. The inside was now a complete mess, and Luc carefully shut the door behind him before continuing on.
