(Okay I'm like super torn now bc I have a hyperactive imagination. Do I want to do thw Haunted Mansion, or a future sci-fi based on Tomorrowland that would probably also have more sinister elements, or something based on all of Magic Kingdom with the different "lands" as different kingdoms/districts? Why am I like this)

Description: Astria is a standard looking American red fox. (A reddish auburn overcoat with black ears, paws, nose, etc. with a white underside).
Personality: Astria doesn't care where she is as long as she has food. (She loves food lol). She doesn't know any other language except fox, so communication should be interesting. She has been on her own for most of her life, so she is very mistrustful of others. Her parents are unknown, and it has been quite a long time since she has had any physical contact with her own kind. As an omnivore, she will eat any edible plants and small mammals that she happens to come across. She is a wanderer and has never settled anywhere for a long period of time.

(hm.... throwing in a fox is interesting. I'm really, really debating with myself on whether to accept that or not. A part of me says no because that will probably really mess with the dynamic and directions of parts of the roleplay, but another part of me says yeah because you could end up with a Midnight type thing where you have a different species able to communicate with the cats, which could be fun. Hm.
So, I'll say this. Give her some way and reason to communicate with the cats, and I'll accept her. The most obvious way I can think of [and is one I've used briefly in a stand-alone plot that promptly died] is having been abandoned as a kit and raised by a kindhearted cat, OR finding an abandoned kit and having sympathy, and deciding to raise them. The second might work better in this situation, because if she just recently met the kit then she would still probably not know very much of its language and therefore the language barrier would still be a distinct problem. And also, then the kit doesn't have to be worked too far into her backstory. BUT that is just a potential suggestion off the top of my head; really any reason you can think of that would give Astria a reason not to be aggressive [or at least, AS aggressive] to the cats and attempt to communicate with them will work.)

(My point was to create a sort of antagonist that actually has a personality and plot to it, but what you say is understandable. Could I perhaps work into her backstory, say, she was raised by a cat [for the language barrier] and then, say, was betrayed by the cat, which gives her a reason to not like cats as much?)

(I see where you're getting at, but Astria is a fox so Viola might just look like a snack to her ^.^' I wanted to create some sort of interesting antagonist but now that I think about it, maybe role-playing a bloodthirsty fox isn't such a good idea)

(Okay I see the point with the antagoist thing, which is perfectly fine as long as you understand that there's a very good chance she will be killed if she persists on antagonizing the cats. Whatever you decide to do with that, therefore, is fine as long as there is something about her that would set her apart from other foxes our fledging Clan will encounter- being able to communicate with the cats [even if she chooses not to most of the time] would be a good one. So I do think the betrayal story would be a good one, as it gives her a reason to be more active in her antagonism than your usual, more "wrong place wrong time" kind of fox enemies, as well as giving her a way to make the cats realize she is different. But, if you can come up with something else that would have a similar effect, you're welcome to use that instead.)
