(Oops my first post was late one sec, typing a new one)
Crow instinctively nodded, though he then remembered that even if the young she-cat hadn't been inside the den, she wouldn't have been able to see. It didn't matter though, because a heartbeat later she emerged from the den.
"Viola!" Crow exclaimed, sincerely relieved to see that she was mostly okay. Ignoring the other cats, he bounded over to look the young she-cat over for wounds. "Yes, it's me," he answered her, gently touching her non-wounded shoulder with his tail o she would know where he was. Then he looked at the other cats again, less guarded now that Viola was by his side. He dipped his head. "Thank you fir helping her," he meowed, looking at each of them. Then he glanced at the tom. "Thanks for the offer to stay as well, but we'll be fine. My den isn't far from here."

Losami sniffed, sitting back away from these strangers. They weren't here to socialize and take their prey! We're clearly here for the cub. Its not that hard, honestly. Just hand her over and we can be on our merry way. Silly moose-brains. At this rate she was trying her hardest to control her temper. It wasn't exactly like her to lash out on anyone, but Crow had cubs of his own to be worrying about. Let alone this bedraggled old family. "Crow..." She muttered softly as the cats one by one began throwing opportunities left and right.

"Crow!" She squeaked, pressing against him in relief. They might not have known each other long, but the young she cat really trusted the cats her family started living with. "You'd never believe what happened out there, it was crazy. I almost got eaten by a fox, but they saved me... I might have called them kit stealers though. I'm sorry for that," She added in a bit of a louder voice, not knowing where the other cats where. She was back to her talkative, friendly self now that she knew that she was going to get home safe. The bedraggled she cat shook her messy fur slightly, wondering what she looked like.

Adder saw them leave the camp.
Ash went down to the camp ground. " Lets get to bed my kit. " She forwarded him with her tail. As they went to the den and fell asleep.

Crow let out an amused purr at the young she-cat, wrapping his tail around her protectively and said, "Tell us all about it when we get home. We need to get you patched up quickly." Then he turned to the strangers. "I think we'll be going now, before it gets too dark. Thanks again though! My den is over that way, ubder the huge oak." He gestured in that direction. "You can't miss it. Come by if you need anything, and I'll see what I can do to repay you for saving Viola."

(( Im thinking of doing a plot where a rock falls on top of Lynx and then Shade runs to the oak for help because the rock fell on the den Adder and Ash were sleeping in. Then they live in the oak. Anyways If you dont like the idea then we dont have to do it. ))

(Yeah that could certainly work. Wait like a day in the roleplay though. Don't want my cats to leave and then like 5 minutes later they come running lol. We can skip ahead in a bit though, like after Crow, Losami, and Viola get back to camp.)

After finishing the owl, Astria layed in her makeshift den and thought about what took place that day. The cats that protected the kit decided to toss her some food, even though they didn't have to. "Why do they do this? Why do they help you, and then hurt you?" she thought.

Crow paused as they returned to the clearing, scanning it for Solace. He didn't see him outside, so he led Viola to the burrow and called out, "Solace! Khostech! Viola is home safe!"

(hey Skyblaze, sorry for never replying last night, I ended up having a lot going on o-e)
Coyote had awoken several times throughout the night and subsequent day, each time annoyed to find that it was still storming. Ginger and Snowdrop made for pleasant enough company- or at least, they weren't unpleasant company if nothing else- and she couldn't deny that it was nice having the body heat of three cats in the den rather than one. Still, as soon as the snow and wind subsided and the sky began to clear, the copper she-cat was out the den to stretch her legs and, hopefully, to hunt.
As she stepped outside, Coyote opened her mouth to drink in the scents of the night, but all she could smell was the cold scent of ice and under it all the ever-persistent, musky scent of the forest. Anything more scent temporary had been covered by the new layer of snow, meaning Coyote would have to track without much use of scent until she got close enough to smell her prey on the air.
The she-cat paused for a moment, considering which part of the surrounding area was most likely to bear prey. After a moment, she headed toward the river, hoping that mice and other small creatures would have taken shelter in the crevices of the river rocks and, like her, would now be emerging. (It's fine! Been doing some stuff as well) The cats soon reached the river, eager for a drink. While snowmelt was fine, it had been a while since they had had a proper source of water to drink from. Although the river was covered by a film of flimsy ice, it had thankfully not completely frozen through, and after poking cautiously, Storm had managed to free a small bit of water to drink. Leaf gently coaxed the two kits forward to drink while Storm kept watch. |

Ember waited for the cats to return anxiously. When she saw everyone appear safe and sound she breathed a sigh of relief and purred happily.

"Well, you'll have to ask Viola for full details," Crow replied. "But from what I understand, a fox attacked her and she was rescued by some cats who live over that way." He flicked his tail in the direction they had come from. "They must be new around here, because I've never met them before, but it's good to know they're friendly. I guess they chased off the fox as well, but it seems that there have been a lot of foxes lately so I suppose we shouldn't get too comfortable, just in case." He threw a glance at Viola. "And I'm thinking no more wandering off, not without someone who can fight. I think that should go for all the young cats." He glanced at Khostech, and then at Natalie as he said this.

Little starter post ))
After the snow had stopped, Ginger and Snowdrop headed out back into the forest. It was clear and sunny, but still cold, and the snow covered everything in huge drifts.
"There's not much hope of finding prey with all this snow," Snowdrop observed, "so we just have this mouse." He dropped it on the snow. Now that he was hungry, it seemed scrawnier than when he'd caught it. He sighed a little, but took a bite of it nonetheless.
Ginger, who'd been surprised when he caught the mouse, was likewise pessimistic about their chances now that the snow had covered everything. However, she mused, it would probably be good for prey once it melted a bit, as the smaller mammals would be protected from the wind and cold by the think blanket of flakes.
I like dragons if they're done well, and I'm neutral on stuffed animals. ))

(just wondering because long story short I do crafts and I'm trying to do vending at conventions and such, and I've had this idea for a long time about basically a thing where there's different dragon "eggs" and you get one and hatch a dragon plushie. I would probably add more to it, make a sort of game out of it [like idk each dragon has stats and you can battle them or something] but I'm not 100% sure yet. But anyways I wanted to actually put together the finished idea but first I wanted to know if anyone else would think it was cool before I put much effort into it lol. But idk I just thought that might make a neat and unique little convention thing. So I'm asking around to see if many people are interested because honestly the only way I could get something like that done would be through something like Kickstarter and I need to know I'd actually have interest before I bother to work on the concept much.)

(awesome that makes like 4 people counting my boyfriend who think it would be cool. I'll have to start actually researching exactly what it would take, as well as getting more into the design and lore of the dragons themselves and figuring out what the game would be. Hm.)
