Teddy eyed Spencer with an unimpressed gaze, blue eyes narrowed slightly. Releasing a sigh, he smooth back some stray hairs on his head, saying to Cain "Seems you're unclear on your answer, but that only means you're still thinking it over. I can only wish you luck on whatever happens." And so their little chat ran its last leg. He couldn't help but crack a small, amused smile as he watched Cain respond like he did to Spencer. The dark-haired male didn't say anything of it, only greeting Spencer dryly "Pleasure is all ours, hm?"

[ wooo team mobile...
let's try this again sorry, short response bc i'm frustrated and annoyed
Edit: okay, i lied. this became longer than expected oops anything to avoid packing, i suppose]
"I can't stand you," she grumbled with a frown before moving toward the kitchen to fill up her water bottle. She paused at the fridge, opening the door to peer into the nearly empty appliance. Need to grab some food... she told herself with a decisive nod. Hmm, maybe some raspberries too. The fruit was something she couldn't do without. They were like a comfort for the lass.
After studying the contents of the refrigerator, the raven-haired lass shuffled toward the sink to refill her bottle. As the water neared the top, she turned off the faucet and cast a curious glance around the common area of the apartment.
A hallway to the left led to the five bedrooms and the bathroom, while the decent sized kitchen gradually became the sitting area/living room, and a large window faced out to look over the city. It really was a beautiful view. The apartment had provided two couches, set up in an L shape in the living room with a wood coffee table and a few side tables. The furniture was just as tasteful as the apartment itself and appeared to be in great condition, nearly brand new. For a moment she wondered how college students could even afford to life in such an upscale place, but she quickly reminded herself that there would be about 10 people total living there.
As she looked around, her dark gaze settled on the other two males seated on one of the couches in the living room area. Taking a deep breath, she glided toward them, plopping herself down on the other couch, pulling up her legs to sit crisscross applesauce.
"Ahh, hi there, sorry about that... just so you know, he is the misleading one," she informed them, pointing at Spencer, "not the knob in the shower." The lass threw a glare at the tall male before returning her gaze to the other two. "Oh, sorry. I'm Olivia Harper, but most call me Ollie," she added, eyes widening as she realized she hadn't even had the decency to introduce herself.
A moment later, the door opened, another lass standing in the frame. Ollie offered her a reassuring smile and a quick wave before her gaze darted to the box in her hands, smile growing as she read the side. Donuts??

'H-h-h-hi.' Cain croaked, very swiftly reaching his quota for social interactions for the day. 'C-Cain Morte.' He shakily replied, wondering how many more times he was going to have to introduce himself that day. He was starting to feel stressed at the amount of people here, and was wondering whether he'd really be able to cope with it all and succeed in this place. He took a deep breath, his anxiety threatening to drown him already.

"Nice to meet you, Ollie," Teddy spoke to her with a nod "I'm Theodore Bryn. Call me Teddy for short." Like he did with everyone, the coal-curled man casually looked her over once before turning his blue gaze away for whatever reason. She seemed nice enough, so Teddy decided to remain as calm as he was. Oliver allowed him to take his attention away from Spencer, so that was good too. Scratching his chin, he temporarily zoned out to watch the others move about.

At the sound of commotion occurring in the living/dining area, Devin angled his body and peered out of the doorway. Glancing back at Brinn, he gestured for her to follow him. It seemed like everyone was gathering in that area. Perhaps something was occurring? He hesitated, not quite sure if he wanted to go over there anyway. He wasn't a shy male, but he didn't particularly enjoy 'large' crowds either. With a soft sigh, he approached the living area hesitantly, pausing by it's entrance. His green gaze slowly swept over the area, gathering the proper information that he needed. At the sight of everyone, a slightly lopsided grin spread across his features.
However, he remained silent. He didn't want to intrude on the conversations that had already been developed. His tall lanky frame flattened further against the wall, allowing room for someone if they decided to pass through the hallway. His gaze swept over Cordelia, Teddy, and Cain, before they landed on Spencer. His eyebrows furrowed slightly. It was interesting, seeing how everyone acted with each other. And out of them all, he could see himself getting along with someone more outspoken and...exuberant...
And then his gaze rested on Cain, noticing his discomfort. Raising an eyebrow, he decided to approach the small group of individuals.

you have got tO BE KIDDING ME. Cain yelled in his head, body threatening to pass out from the sheer amount of attractive men in the room, and the amount of people that were now surrounding him. get yourself together man; you skate with sexy men in leotards on a monthly damn basis. ...buT THEYRE ALL OLDER AND THATS NORMAL. They're not my age like- ahajsksk. He found himself giving Devin a quick once over before looking away quickly, taking another deep breath to try and cool down and calm himself. With a shaking hand he switched to the sports channels and put on the skating, wanting to watch the lead-up to the world Grand Prix, and see who would qualify to start the competition in less than a month from now. He hoped watching the other skaters would calm his nerves.

Spencer rolled his eyes at Olivia as she pointed out that he was the misleading one. All's well in good fun, he mused. At least she didn't try and throw a shoe at his head again for this prank.
The guy that introduced himself as Cain seemed to be shy, as he blushed at everything that he said and he seemed nervous as more people began to enter. On the other hand, the other guy sitting down next to Cain, named Teddy, seemed to not be affected by anything.
He knew that many people were going to be living under this roof, and Spencer was excited to meet everyone. He could've gotten his own flat with the money he had, sure, but he liked the experience and he'll have plenty of time to live alone after graduating college anyways. His mother had insisted he move into a single studio apartment, but Spencer had refused, and he was glad. It was nice to see people, even if he may not talk to them a lot during the school year due to his studies.
He also caught a woman standing by the door with a box of donuts, and a couple more people entered. He waved at them in greeting and sat himself down on the floor, leaning against the couch with his wet towel and water bottle.
"Has everyone met each other?" Spencer asked, his accented voice echoing in the apartment as he scanned everyone's faces.

you cant say ur own name GOSH
Dammit, she’d made eye contact. There was no escaping now. Cordelia sighed in defeat and cautiously made her way over to the growing group gathered by the couch. Right, act cool. You have donuts. She placed the box on the coffee table between the couches and settled on the arm of one of the couches as to not take a spot from someone else. Glancing briefly over the faces in the group, she was pretty sure she’d never seen these people before, save for maybe one or two faces from earlier.
At the question, the girl tensed, clasping her hands tightly in her lap. Did everyone already know each other already? Shoot, she was so far behind. Oh well. Deciding not to say anything, she peered around the room, peeking at everyone’s faces while avoiding eye contact.

When Devin reached the small group, he settled by the wall, pressing his shoulder against it as he leaned. His gaze briefly traveled to Cordelia, then to Spencer, and then back at Teddy and Cain. His eyes narrowed in curiosity at the sight of Cain becoming flustered. It must be horrible being shy when you had to share an apartment, no matter how large it was, with 10 other people. His gaze then traveled curiously to Teddy. He observed the other male for a few moments, before his gaze flickered down to Spencer. Already, he seemed to be at at large and in charge. It was a good thing, he theorized. Somebody had to. "No." Came his simple reply. He had only technically met one individual thus far, and she wasn't even in the room.
Although he wasn't smiling, his features were pleasant and friendly enough. And as his gaze drifted across the room, once again, he noticed that quite a few more people were still missing.

'N-no.' Cain nervously replied as well. He finally decided that perhaps meeting everyone at once would be better than meeting them all individually and having to repeatedly introduce himself. He took a deep breath and collected his nerves; youre a figure skater- you're a star, for Zeus' sakes, act like one and stop stuttering. he calmed down a little and smoothed his long white hair from his face. 'Maybe we should stay here and wait for everyone to convene.' He said, voice much calmer than before, and he felt even more at ease at hearing how well he'd spoken. Score one for Morte!
