I'm pretty sure it's prevented many deaths XD I never got the school system you guys have. Your high school starts at…is it like ninth grade? That's Year Ten in Britain. That's confusing.]

LOL
Yep. In Canada, you're in elementary school until the 8th grade--2 yrs of kindergarten + grades 1 thru 8--then you enter high school in the ninth grade thru to the twelfth. Then university or college if you want. How does the school system work over there? I've been trying to educate myself bc I might take a semester in Britain in he fall but everytime I try and figure it out I just get confused... Lol

Lol So it's nursery ages 3-4 Then reception ages 4-5 Then primary school (Year 1 - Year 6) is ages 5 - 11 Then secondary/senior school (Year 7 - 11) is ages 11-16 Then you can go to college or sixth form (Years 12 and 13, sometimes called Lower Sixth and Upper Sixth) ages 16-18 Then you can do university after that]

Woah that's confusing!!!! In America, we start Kindergarten at 4, then we have elementary school (grades 1-8), then we have Highschool (grades 9-12), so most finish highschool around 17 years old. And then we have College for 4 years. And then technically we are done.
If we want even higher education then we can do that, which is like what 2 years for a Masters degree, and then 1 year ater that for a PHD.

I don't know, I guess whichever system you've grown up with, you're used to. Your system seems confusing to me because your high school starts in the middle of my secondary school XD So that's kinda weird to a British person XD Well, I'm Year 11, so I'll do my GCSE exams (General Certificate of Secondary Education), and then next year I'll be in Sixth Form for two years and do my A-Levels, then I'll do University]

((Omg yay baby!!! And Ikr I'm just waiting tbh for somewhere to hop in lol...)) [Baby!!! Idk if she'll be having it anytime soon but I do know they're turning it which means they're expecting it to be soon I think. Hehe I wish I could help but I'm sort of afraid to mess things up. If you want in PM we can do something with it, like do a little side-rp with the same charries and stuff, just until we get started]

[So our college/sixth form would be the last two years of your high school I think, ages 16-18? And our university is what you sometimes call college, so the higher education after high school]

That's what I think you guys would find so confusing about the British school system, because college means a totally different thing for us than it does for you x]
