"Not at the moment. I'm just waiting for orders, so that's partly why I came here," Grace said with a shrug. Deino looked up from his nibbling at the word "orders", but started nibbling the wooden edge when he realized he was not needed. "Over here, Deino," the trainer commanded with a sigh. Deino loved to chew on everything. It was his way of seeing, but Grace didn't want to deal with a chewed-up park bench.

"Speaking of that... what's it like in Alola? I've heard a lot about it, but I've never had the chance to go there," Grace said. Archy hopped over to her, wanting to listen in as well.

Grace laughed at the mental image. "I'd love to see those little guys. They sound pretty adorable-" Archy hopped onto her lap."-of course, not as adorable as you, Archy," she added, rubbing his feathery head. Deino nudged her arm, and she smiled. "Right, you're cute, too. Can't forget about my lil' dragon."

"Yep. Even Gyrados is a real cutie once you get to know him," Grace agreed. A buzz sounded from her pocket, and she pulled out her phone. Archy hopped onto her shoulder to get a better look. "I guess break time's over. Monferno! Smeargle! Over here, you two!" The two pokemon stopped what they were doing and ran over to their trainer.

"Looks like there's something we need to check out... something about a... legendary sighting?" Grace said, squinting at the text to see if she had read that correctly. She sighed and put the phone in her pocket. "Might be another false alarm, but I guess it's worth checking out." Last time she had investigated something like that, it had just turned out to be a stantler herd messing with some travelers, but it wouldn't hurt to find out this time. She recalled everyone except Archy, who continued to perch on her shoulder.

"Sounds fine with me. We'll be heading to Lake Valor- that's where the sighting was, according to the text," Grace explained. She led the way out of the park. Once they were outside Hearthome, she took off a poke ball and threw it into the air. Gyrados popped out, coiling up as it looked down at the group. Grace turned to face the others. "It'll be faster to fly there. Do you have flying pokemon, or do you want to ride Gyrados? He's pretty big, so he should be able to carry all of us."

Gyrados huffed and lowered his body so Grace and Apikalia could climb on. Grace sat in front, with Archy still on her shoulder. After everyone was set, Gyrados rose into the air, making sure not to jolt its passengers too much. Archy squacked and spread his wings. For the archen, this was the closest thing he had to soaring effortlessly. The height didn't bother him at all.
