Introduction

you wandered through a snow laden forest searching for prey, mouse tracks crossed your path but the scent was stale.you continued the hunt when a bush rustled nearby. Your ears pricked. Creeping up on the bush you peeked obove it, a tall lean she-cat was crouched bellow, her muscled legs pulled into a pouncing stance. She launched forward and landed gracefully, lifting her head with a crow in her jaws. Your belly grumbled. Jumping out at the cat you reached for the prey, but she gained her balance easily and through you off. The strange cat bolted through the trees and you gave chase, you must have that crow! She led a fairly straight path through the little undergrowth but she eventually outran you, leaving you to follow in e wake of the snow. Slowly other strange scents from far away crisscrossed the forest floor and you felt a churning in your stomach, but curiosity had a grip on you now and you pushed on. You heard voices ahead, faint whispers hung in crisp air. You burst through a bush to see a hundred eyes burning into your pelt. Many cats lay around a clearing, eating and Chatting together. "No worries young one," a grey tom meowed calmly " we have only taken prey today, we will be gone tomarow." you gazed in awe at the array of cats before you, " who are you?" You ask " what are you doing here?" The she-cat you had spotted earlier answered first, "we are Trailclan, were following the stars." She Answered. Her words echoed in your ears, it had always been your dream to travel. "Can I come along?" You spoke rather nervously. "Yes." A new tom replied with a voice that demanded respect. "But were not just travelers, were a clan, Trailclan". .

History

seasons ago a clan called Rabbitclan, lived in peace alongside Dewclan. Rabbitclan lived on the moor and Dewclan lived in the forest. One leafebare, a group of rouges came to the forest and battled with Dewclan. Rabbitclan refused to help its fellow clan and Dewclan was soon destroyed. Knowing his clan was next Rabbitclan's leader Eaglestar looked to the stars for answers. He and his medicine cat watched a large patch of stars as they moved across the sky ( the milky way). Eaglestar saw it as his ancestors running away from the enemy and ordered his clan to follow, saying silverpelt will lead the way. Featherstar, the new leader, renamed them Trailclan, for they no longer ran like rabbits, but followed the trail of their ancestors under the light of the moon.

Camp

every morning the clan finds a place to rest all day. The cats form a sleeping circle, warriors on the outside, apprentices just behind, then the leader and medicine cats. and in the center, Queens and kits sleep around a guard.

Current

every 2 days is equivalent to one night. Season: Greenleaf, moon: newmoon, terrain: forest, 4th generation. Clan opens.// out rp: Warnings: I will warn you to follow rules or rp more often here.

Code

normal warrior code.// if you betray the clan you will be banished. guarded by 3 warriors in the current camp the rest of the clan continues on. The warriors watch you for half a night then wound your legs and run to catch up with their clan.// med. Cats may have mates but kits are not allowed.// a cat cannot change its name until becoming a warrior.//

Religion

Silverclan. Trailclan believes that the stars are their ancestors, and that they travel across the sky, so the clan follows the stars. They think that if they travel far enough a cat can walk straight into Silverclan. They also believe that if a cat does not follow the stars it will be swallowed by the darkness of the shadow wisps, evil spirits of the rouges that chased Trailclan. The leader and deputy share a connection with Silverclan but the med. Cat lost that ability.

Customs

Trailclan travels by night so they can see the stars they follow.// med. Cats make baskets out of grass and leaves to hold leaf wraps of herbs to carry. The baskets usually last around one moon.// once a cat becomes a warrior they are allowed to change their name and the leader will hold a ceremony.// a rouge that joins Trailclan must prove their determination by running circles around the clan until they drop.// every full moon Silverclan visits the leader and deputy in their dreams.// at warrior ceremonies, the newly named warrior will jump as high as they can to show the strength in their legs.// 3 nights after a kit is born the clan moves camp. to transport the kits baskets lined with moss are woven and carried by the mother or father.//

Featherstar / she-cat / brown tabby with dark brown stripes and a cream colored face and underbelly. / she is a caring and determined leader but is sometimes torn between leading her clan or keeping them safe. She is a stickler for the rules and made most of the new code. / she was born to Rabbitclan before they began to travel. / her family stayed behind. / extra none.

Deputy

Owlclaw - Warrior(Deputy if possible)- tom - Gray and black tabby tom with dark blue eyes - Owlclaw is responsible and orderly. He wants to make sure no cat gets abused or mistreated. His mother and father both died of an unexplained illness - family (ask someone to be your family!)Sister is Stormlight

Pebblespots- tomcat- a dark brown and white tomcat with pale green eyes and a white underbelly, leading up to his tail; brown spots- Pebblespots is grumpy, and likes to be alone- Pebble's mother was born a rouge, but was born in the clan- he was born in the first litter of Larkdapple, and the older brother of Stagkit and Marshkit; open to mate!


Larkpaw- Medicine cat apprentice if possible- A dark cream coloured she-cat with ginger- light brown paws, ears, muzzle, underbelly, and tail-tip.- Quite impatient, witty, extroverted and social. She always tries ( usually without success ) to keep up with the latest news, trying to stay alert about the goings-on of the clan cats. Likes to speak her mind and seems quite brave. Once you get to know her, she is a friend worth having but a friend hard to get. History- ( Were you a loner that joined or clan born?) Clanborn- Family ( Ask someone to be your family ) Sister is Sparrowpaw.

Warriors

Stormlight - warrior - she-cat - gray she-cat with tabby stripes. Her eyes are a darker shade of yellow. - Stormlight is quiet and obediant, and would never disobey the warrior code. She is loyal and sweet- history ( were you a loner that joined or clanborn?) Clanborn. Her mother and father both died of an unexplained illness - family (ask someone to be your family!)Brother is Owlclaw.

Silentheart- Warrior- Female- A black and white spotted cat- Very quiet though very passionate about what she does and is very observant- Her family thought she was mute as a kit so they had named her Silentkit, it was only until she was a few moons old that she actually spoke (were you a loner that joined or clanborn?) Clanborn- family (ask someone to be your family!)- extra

Lightningshadow- Warrior- She-cat- Jet black fur with a white tipped tail, dark ginger underbelly, chest and paws. Beautiful Dark ice blue eyes- Very shy when she doesn't know you, but she warms up eventually. She can be bold and stubborn sometimes, causing accidental fights. She is very energetic and likes to explore, she loves the night. She likes to play with the kits and is a good hunter. Her family died in a fire and she was cared for by foxes for two months.

Rosefoot - Tom - pure white tom with a hint of cream to his paws along with dark red paws and a dark red tail tip. he has large  doe-like green eyes and he's a muscular cat with a slender build. - quiet and snappy Rosefoot is a stubborn cat with a short temper. he has a sharp tongue but can be caring and friendly but rarely he is. he seems to have a soft spot towards kits and wants to be a father some day. She doesn't speak much and when he is, it's usually being stern- clan born - he was mistaken as a she-cat more than once

Hawktalon-TomHawktalon is a brown and black tabby with light green eyes. He is muscular but lean, and he has a nick in his left ear. He isn't cruel, but he is blunt and isn't very forthcoming with his emotions after his mother and sister died when he was an apprentice from a badger attack. His father left the clan for a kittypet life which left Hawktalon under ridicule for many moons. He was clanborn and has no more family. He is deathly afraid of snakes after an accident with one after he became a warrior.

Apprentices

Sparrowpaw- Apprentice- A very dark brown she-cat with a bright ginger chest similar to that of a sparrow.- She is very bubbly and perky, but not too smart. Usually the last one to figure things out, but always annoyingly optimistic. A lot of cats like her for her positive attitude, but it can sometimes be irritating. History- ( Were you a loner that joined or clan born? ) Clanborn- Family ( Ask someone to be your family ) Sister is Larkpaw.

Rockpaw- apprentice- female- rockpaw is a dusty furred cat with a small body but very agile- rockfall is friendly to a point. She trusts no one untill they proved to be trust worthy- her litter mates wernt strong enough to travel. Her parents were also left behind because they wernt strong enough - no family left.- outcast

Dustpaw- Apprentice- Male- A dark grey cat with a fluffy undercoat- Loud mouthed and quick to jump in, often considered annoying but loyal- Clanborn- Open to family- extra

Whitepaw-Apprentice-Male-10 Moons-Whitepaw is a long-furred pure white tom with a few blue-gray splotches. His eyes are clear, ice-blue. He has blue-gray splotches along his back.-Whitepaw is kind. He is intelligent and fiercely loyal. He protects his friends and Clan at any cost. He is very brave, but not to the point of running into situations without thinking. He hopes to be a strong warrior one day. Though he is calm, he can get angry easily. He will speak for his Clan, and sometimes, he will be too defensive about it. He also can get upset easily.-Whitepaw is Clanborn.-Family N/A (Ask!)

Loudsky - queen - female - a silver/gray long furred tabby she-cat with sky blue eyes - Loudsky is always scared and jumpy and hopes her kits won't look like their father. She loves her Clan but fears traveling will put her life in danger - when she first met her mate she was instantly in love but after they saw sogns of her pregnancy he became abusive to her and was banished. She fears she is following them to take revenge on the Clan that banished him


Larkdapple- shecat- a short brown she-cat with darker brown spots and a white belly/paws, pale green eyes- Larkdapple is funny, friendly, and usually very happy, but can be aggressive easily- Larkdapple was found as rouge while TrailClan was traveling; she was asked to join, and gladly accepted- Larkdapple's first litter was Pebblespots and her second was Stagkit and Marshkit; mate is open!

Stagkit- shecat- a pale gray shecat with blue eyes and a coat of tabby stripes, and creamy white paws- Larkkit is easily offended, and can become quickly aggressive with the smallest insult- Stagkit was born in TrailClan, but her mother used to be a rouge- Stagkit's mother is Larkdapple, her littermate is Marshkit, and older brother is Pebblespots; open to crush/mate!

Marshkit- tomcat- a brown-and-white tomcat with bright amber eyes and weird dark brown marks around his eyes and muzzle- Marshkit is happy, very smart, but immature; he hates walking, which makes him not very popular throughout the clan- Marshkit's mother was born as a rouge, but he was born inside TrailClan- his mother is Larkdapple, littermate is Stagkit, and older brother is Pebblespots; open to crush/mate!

Elders
there are no elders in the clan. Once an old cat can no longer keep up the med. Cat walks with the elder as far as possible until they walk out of their old pelt and their spirit walks into Silverclan.
Temporary cats, cats that are not part of the plot for very long. Ex. A run in with a rouge, an evil cat, or a clanmate that dies.

Cats that that are rped for a short amount of time. These could be rouges, bannished cats, cats that die, or evil cats to defeat.

Huffer- kittypet- tom- thick pelted black and white tom with white on neck, belly, flank, and muzzle- calm but outgoing he is determined to fulfil his goals, usually giving up on everything else- a lonely mountaineer trying to find his twoleg den he lost in a blizzard who often helps travelers-
