'Snow-Angel?' He snorted, having to put down his drink so he wouldn't spill it. 'My name is Cain. I think you already knew that however from the way you've approached me.' He barely reacted to her shaking her hair out, his gaze level and focused only on her eyes and face, every so often flicking away so he could keep an eye on his surroundings. 'Your name, however, has slipped my tongue.' His lips twitched as he looked back at her. 'I'm afraid you'll have to remind me.'

BloodroseRyo laughed at him before she simply pouted at how she was seeing that he wasn't getting flustered by her charm. A challenge? Perfect. "Alright then, Cain, I suppose you may call me Ryo." she said to him as she was looking him over. "Excuse me if this sounds rude, but what pronouns do you prefer? I don't mind the idea of staring at a lovely man or woman, or a handsome man or woman." she chuckled while giving him a slight wink.

Cain blinked, taken aback by her consideration of even asking him; so much so that he completely forgot to reply for a moment. 'Oh- it- it depends.' He said, now looking everywhere but at her. 'You can use they/them to be safe.' He smiled at her slightly, feeling a little warmed towards the girl now. 'I suppose I should return the question?'

BloodroseRyo chuckled at him and could see that he...they...felt surprised at her question. In this day and age, one really didn't know what they were getting themselves in to. "It really doesn't matter to me, I enjoy feminine pronouns, but i also don't mind being mistaken for a boy." she chuckled as she watched him with a happy smirk. "I still like Snow-angel though, I've never seen hair like yours."

'It's fair anyways, I just dyed it white to take that final step.' Cain grinned, twirling a strand of it around his finger. 'It also adds a little flair when I'm dancing on the ice.' His gaze softened slightly as he spoke of his ice skating. 'I'm choreographing a program right now in preparation for the competitions in a month or so.' He straightened up slightly, lips twitching into a smile. 'And if you're really dead-set on the nickname- just Angel is fine.'

Bloodrose (Hnghhhh, Yuri On Ice was my friggin show!!) Ryo raised a dark eyebrow at the idea that this individual did ice skating. She didn't think there would be any rinks nearby. Apparently not. She watched as he talked about it, and took note that he seemed to have a soft spot for it. "You do competitive skating? I'll have to try seeing you show off some moves sometime." she chuckled before winking, "Whatever you say, Angel." she chuckled happily at the nickname she had for him.

((Ahhh I love it!! I still haven't seen eps 11 and 12 yet though trying my best to avoid spoilers yowch))
Cain laughed quietly. 'There should be some videos online.' He said. 'I made it to junior nationals two years ago and then took a break last year to train with my parents- they used to do pairs.' He explained. 'I'm a little nervous to get back out there, but... excited. I'm in the senior group now, with all of the big guns. It's...' he paused, struggling to find the right word to describe how he was feeling.

Bloodrose (Oh yeah, I've seen them and you just gotta watch it as soon as possible) Ryo smiled thoughtfully before she reached across the table to nudge his shoulder playfully. "But why would I want to just look it up online when I have the real thing in front of me?" she giggled softly while she gave him another smile to show she was interested. "Incredible? Awe-inspiring?" she prompted him for the sake of giving him some support. "I'd probably try to get tickets for that."

Skylar Brennan | 16, senior | Straight For someone who considers herself a nerd, Skylar sure doesn't look like one. She's tall and slender, with bright ginger hair and bright, intelligent blue-green eyes. Honestly, she looks more like a supermodel than a genius. Honestly, she's likely one of the most intelligent students at this school. With her 5.0 GPA, she's a definite contender for valedictorian. The problem? She can't walk. A nasty fall while hiking has put her in a wheelchair, and she's still learning how to use it. She may be brilliant, the youngest senior in the school, and have a very bright outlook, but her condition has left her rather depressed and anxious.

Skylar hated everything about the cafeteria. It was noisy and crowded, which made it hard to get around and made her anxious, not to mention that the noise made her edgy. Also, the cafeteria food was awful. She stared dully at her slice of soggy pizza, no longer feeling hungry as she wished, not for the first time, that she'd packed a home lunch. Sighing, she glanced around this less-crowded section of cafeteria. Most of the kids around her were the quieter ones; maybe she could take a nap. Pushing her tray out of the way, she rested her head on the tabletop. It smelled awful, but by putting her arms over her head, she could block out most of the noise, which was exactly how she liked it.

Skylar's head shot up in alarm as the girl she'd sat with tapped on her arm. For a moment she looked alarmed, then she relaxed, seeing the bit of cookie. "Thanks," she mumbled, taking the pastry and sticking it into her mouth. It tasted wonderful, and after a moment she smiled.

((Hi y'all! ^.^
Mycle Adair | 17, senior | Pansexual Mycle is of small stature, emphasized by his habit of trying to occupy as little space as possible. His jet-black hair falls long over his face, often hiding at least one of his dark brown eyes, and settles along his shoulders. He is of Japanese descent but was adopted by an American couple who had decided to move to Japan. Mycle uses a variety of tools to aid in moving from one place to another, from forearm crutches to a wheelchair, due to his cerebral palsy. He is incredibly timid and unsure of himself. Even though he keeps to himself, he longs for nothing more than to hang out freely with his peers. However, Mycle holds himself back (a lot) because he doesn't trust himself with his anxiety and low self-confidence. He prefers to wait for an invitation in fear of bothering someone.))
Mycle looked hopefully for an empty table in the crowded cafeteria, just for a little while so that he could eat his lunch without being an awkward presence next to a group of friends. However, the crowded cafeteria is crowded, which means a great lack of tables for loners. Then again, the tables were pretty big for a reason. Sitting by himself stuck out like a sore thumb itself - there had been a couple times people had sat next to him just because they felt sorry for his lonesomeness, which, while he greatly appreciated the company, made him feel worse when they never speak to him again. He sighed and nervously sat at a relatively quiet table, sitting at the edge as to give the others enough space. It took him a moment to set aside his crutches, bring his backpack to his lap, check that his crutches weren't in the way, pull out his lunch, check his crutches, put it on the table, and then set the backpack on the back of his chair. And then check his crutches again. He had a strange fear of someone taking them - though such a venture would be ridiculous, he couldn't stop himself from placing a foot on them so that he could reassure himself of their presence. He would, after all, be flopping around in a creek without a paddle without them.

Cain nervously leant away from her when she touched him, hoping he hadn't come across as rude to his new friend; he just disliked people touching him in general. 'Not really. Like I said, I was in the juniors before, and I haven't competed for an entire year. I've only recently been allowed to start using quads in my routines, and 75% of the time I can't even land them.' He felt awkward about her praise, especially knowing that she hadn't seen him before on the ice. 'I appreciate the compliments, though.' He added, glancing around the cafeteria again, feeling a little anxious as it was starting to get very full- he was usually in the music room by now.

BloodroseRyo frowned slightly when he shied away from her touch. Did he...? She pursed her lips for a moment before she figured it was probably better to just let this one go. If anything, maybe he was hyper-sensitive. She had only just met him in the first place. The last thing she wanted was for him to even freak out because of her. Still, it wasn't fun that he wasn't taking her compliment right away, but she assumed as much. "I guess with practice, you'll be able to handle it." she shrugged softly while she was running a hand through her hair before shaking it out. Hmm, what to do now... "Well..." she took out some paper and wrote her number on it before she handed it to him. "If you find the time, you should give me a text saying that it's you." she chuckled as she stood and figured she could go back to Hiro.

'A lot of practice.' He sighed, before nervously accepting her number and giving her a charming smile. 'I'll think about it.' He said, tucking the number into his pocket before standing and wishing her farewell, now determined to head off to the music room for some peace from the crowd. He winced as someone screamed nearby- man, he hated it when girls did that. He swiftly left the cafeteria and sighed with relief, already eager to get his hands on a piano and his lips to a microphone.

Hiro sauntered over to Ryo after watching them for a minute or two. He watched, smoothing a stray hair back into place, as Cain fled. "Hm, interested in him?" he asked with a teasing grin. "They're not bad looking I guess. What's his name then?" he munched on a fry as he stood.

☾ Cʀᴇsᴄᴇɴᴛ ☽Ryo refused to even try blushing at Hiro's statement. She shook her head and casually sat back down with a slight huff. "Their name is Cain." she explained before she shook out her hair for a moment. Of course she didn't need to tell him her nickname for them, that was simply her own thing and no one else deserved the pleasure.

☃️OOC:☃️ Eek, I'm still joining this.
Norman Walters | 16 | Homosexual | Norman Walters is incredible short and is not getting any taller. He stands at 5'1 exactly but sometimes tries to pretend he's 5'2 instead. He has a rather pale complexion and his skin is covered in freckles that cover all over his face, neck, chest, and down his arms, he even has freckles all over his body too, but those sort of fade away while the more noticeable ones are the ones in places mentioned before. He has a small figure, and is physically very weak and scrawny, his metabolism is very high and so he can basically eat a ton and still maintain his skinny figure. His hair is a natural, vibrant red and is a mess of fluffy curls above his ear that curl down below his ears as well and his eyes are a dark green. However he has sort of bad eyesight and so usually he is wearing his glasses, which are big, thick rimmed, and black. Norman is outwardly a bit of a sour guy, he doesn't really talk a lot to people and gets the idea that people don't exactly like him. However once he gets to know you, he's basically just a huge dork who loves comics, drawing, singing, and some other less than manly activities. He was raised by his three brothers, who are all five years older than him and none of them are blood related, along with that, he was also raised by his "mother" of sorts, who is the birth mother of only one of his brothers. They all lived in America for years until moving to Japan the previous year and so far, Norman is less than happy about it.
Anywhere I could jump in?

((Sorry it's quick!! Meal with the family, won't be on for a while))
Cain smiled as his fingers flew across the keys of the old piano in the music room, belting out the song 'Warriors' by Imagine Dragons, his voice powerful enough to hit the notes. He felt shivers run through him as he sang; this was one of his favourite songs. He didn't care if others might hear him.
