- Archclaw -"Ha. Ha. Yeah," He said, kind of awkwardly, fore he wasn't sure if that was a joke or not. There was a bit of a silence, where Archclaw just sort of stoically stared back, his eyes flickering around the room a few times. He was honestly a bit thankful when Sunpetal joined this fail of a conversation. "Hello, how are you doing, Sunpetal? Guarding is going well, everything seems.. peaceful," he said, placing his words carefully. He had heard that Sunpetal was expecting, and by the looks of it, that was definitely true. He would be excited to see new blood in the clan, although he wasn't the best with kits, so he usually stayed away. Sunpetal winced, realizing that question wasn't the best, and tried to erase it by piling her words with drawbacks (is that even the right word to use???). "I mean--er--you know, that was a joke--although it's not a joking matter--" she sighed and shook her head. "Sorry. Everything's so tense lately, and I'm pretty sure expecting messes with your head. Have you guys had a pleasant day so far? Anything interesting happen?"(I think the male/female ratio is 16/18 now with the addition of Archclaw and Holloweyes, so we're pretty even  . Am I the official ratio-er [-counter? Is this even the right bracket? I think something's wrong with me tonight . . .] now?) |

"What?" Oak exclaimed, barely managing to drop his mice down before following his friend. "Fox, wait up!" He purred anyway, because racing around the castle was always fun, and let Fox bound around and lead him to his mentor. He just hoped Duskstorm was in the mood to handle two young cats, especially one who got so overexcited. ((Hi hi I know you're doing the bolding thing now but could I ask for you to not do it when you reply to me? I'm easily confused by bright/standy-out things lol and it hurts my eyes)) Fox skidded into the garden and noticed the adult cats appeared to be having a meeting; she didn't really care, it wasn't as though they would think the kittens would take much in from it anyways. She sprinted over eagerly. 'Duskstorm! Duskstorm!!' The Tom jumped half out of his skin and looked up with owlish eyes, very alarmed by her shouting. 'Shhh, Fox.' He soothed her, lying down to patiently let her crash into his good side, and not his bad one. She rebounded off him and went sprawling, but shook it off within seconds and began to run in circles. 'Me and Oak caught lots and lots of mice!' 'Oh really?' He purred, glancing up as his apprentice came into view over the ball of furry energy that was fox. 'Were they healthy mice?' (Totally lol I know the feeling, not trying to stab your eyes out  ) "Four of them, but then I caught one that was sick. But I sniffed it out!" Oak cheered himself up with that thought. "And then I fixed my hind legs and Fox caught like five and she should be a hunter right?" He looked over to his friend, eyes narrowing with pleasure. "It was super fun. We'll totally be the best hunter and guard in the Clan when our training is over!" |

Or a priest, there aren't many of those. The guards and hunters are bloated beyond belief, in a good way, haha alliteration, I think I need a chill pill or something of the sort . . .) |

(This is just an idea so destroy me if it's bad but what if some of the cats went off for some reason? Maybe a quest, maybe they just want peace, would that contribute to the general air of chaos? Idk that would make less forces but it's an idea so lol) ((I wouldn't be opposed to that, although it might be a good idea to make a separate thread for it so that things don't get too crowded on this one c': I'd be happy to make one if you guys ever want!)) |

((Oh I'm not sure I'd be very good at the priest thing I tend to avoid those kinds of roles lol. And I'm not sure about the elder thing either.... I might just have him be a loner and just be floating about outside lol (not a part of the rogue band- maybe he could be the one to tell them about the band?))

(That sounds really cool! Do you have anything in mind?) (Speaking of ideas, since everyone is barfing creativity like I like, I'm thinking about writing some lore for the priests to follow and use, because you don't really have much to go on besides vague ideas right now. Would anyone be interested in me adding that?) (Ooh like we should each give them something like someone gives them a song and someone writes them a poem OH MY GOSH IT'LL BE LIKE THE ROYAL KIT CEREMONY OH MY GOSH THE NEW MEMBER CEREMONY I'll gladly barf creativity everywhere lol and I love the idea of lore and I actually would kind of like to write fanfiction for that????) I’ve heard of cats being thrown out of the castle, but I always assumed they died in the heath. But we must have come from somewhere, right? Cats didn’t build this place—we just moved into it.”

- - Thunderheart & Stoneheart ((in the same room ? ? wow))
Thunderheart flicked his ear and tried to seem as nonchalant as possible. “We ran into a fox during our patrol, but we fought it off. It wasn’t a problem,” he said.
“Why were you on a hunting patrol?” Stoneheart asked sharply.
Thunderheart shuffled his feet. “I needed some exercise, I guess,” he said. “But, uh, care to explain what’s going on here? Did you force Icefang to come in and make awkward small talk with Dewfern again?”
“I’m just doing what I think is best, Thunderheart. Some of us care about the castle’s well being.” Stoneheart jumped off of the old furniture and left the room, going to his private chamber. Thunderheart grit his teeth to stop himself from raising his voice in front of the royal guard.
