Literally everything oh my god.
Like, I just discovered you can see everyone's birthdays on the calendar like IDK THAT SEEMS REALLY AWESOME TO ME BECAUSE YOU CAN WISH PEOPLE A HAPPY BIRTHDAY AND KNOW WHEN IT IS-
on top of that I can tell we're all having a blast with being able to customize our avatars, I think it gives us each unique flair that was really lacking on the old forums.
Honestly to those that brought this forum to fruition, you're an absolute savior and gem, we love you.

I agree with the avatar thing. It is so freeing to even express ourselves through our avvies, becuase that freedom was unavailable on the old forums. I can finally have the Kobra Kid symbol avvie I've wanted to show for a while.
I also enjoy that this is user run, which is pretty fantastic.

the new coding and just adding images altogether i find easier
the old forum look just adds to it all as well as actually having working POLLS AND SURVEYS!!
custom avatars, less stricter rules and a user-run community

Th bookmarks feature, PM, and the miniprofile help so you don't click around so much and the PM is perfect for private RP
Also being user-run is nice

Yeah! This forum is so wonderful it looks just like how the forums used to back in the day, I missed this look, and it's so nice that it's user-run and easier to use.

Have you already tried going to Profile --> Edit Profile --> Privacy --> Gender Visibility? After selecting the "Yes" bubble, make sure to scroll down and click the "Save Privacy Settings" button, and you should see a green message pop up momentarily next to the button saying "Saved". Hope this helps. |

Hope this helps. I just looked it up. There are two possibilities that I've seen: 1. The gender of users under the age of 16 are hidden regardless of chosen option. 2. You have you edit your Global Account. To do so: Go to proboards.com --> Account (blue button) --> Gender option --> Edit --> Show / Don't Show. |

I love everythinG about this to be honest! Less strict rules(that actually make sense), the whole layout, PMing, avatars, OUTSIDE LINKS GOOD GOD THANK YOU, just the whole better functionality of this forum, the participated!!! button, everything. Thanks Tomo you're a hero <3

I like the simple icons from the old site (as you can tell because I kept mine lol) but the bigger signatures here distract me. I'm sure I'll get used to it soon though! The layout is just similar enough to the original forums that it doesn't feel weird. I do too, as I kept mine as well, but it's still nice to have a choice of whether you'll be able to change it or not for people that don't! |

I love how they added the crisis hotlines, like the mods wouldn't even let you discuss anything about it like lives are on the line but god forbid you break the rules. But i love how its up there and a link to them if needed

the forums closing down was like a horrible nightmare and then you wake up to this and it's like the end of Wizard of Oz, surrounded by all your old friends, more content with the world
