Yes, but in a fantastic sense. Viola's storyline involves her becoming an unoffical ambassador for the fae folk to Earth. Reed gets kneedeep in galactic war, and Eliot plays a bit of politics to get deeper into his family's organization.
Are any of your characters inhuman?

plenty, but I'll mention Phyra by name. she's a goddess of fire, war and justice, and she's arguably the furthest from human of them all

Most of my characters are anthro animals, and it's considered a cultural fashion thing to dye your headfur to look "fancy", so some of my characters have unnatural colors.

*points to Eveline* Her. She thinks way more than she needs to.
Edit: To slow. Either Eveline, Tom, or Percival. It honestly depends on who they are playing with. Percival would as the really stupid ones with a deadpan face and everyone would honestly think he was serious (even if he was just joking). Tom would ask them to be funny and Eveline would ask them because she's nervous.

*squints* OH YEAH! One of my Will to Live main char. changes his hair color all the time. :3
Edit: This place moves fast. Most of my Will to Live characters as some form of drop-out. They had to be.
