(I'll get up replies soon. broken Auransky Kuragehime Zig-Zag 𝖘𝖆𝖚𝖈𝖎 𝖘𝖕𝖆𝖌𝖍𝖊𝖙𝖙𝖎 --cato phoenix (tagging those concerned) The one you had a while back, where you said their might be items they had to find for them to try and get home, was a good one in my mind. Like Rin sets them a task and they have to find it. And maybe only one group can make it home? So then we'd have groups working against each other and characters like Manarch and Kasha would be trying to double cross others to try and get an item or steal an item from another group so they could leave their enemies (or in Kasha's case just leave) behind. It would also mean that everyone would be traveling with a purpose to a destination and depending we could even shift the scenes from these forests and old towns to other landscapes. Deserts, oceans, so forth. That would also keep the conflict between players that Dia suggested, so there could still be fits and alliances between groups as the terrain and challenge demanded.)

(Sorry for taking so long to reply! I've been busy with moving) Akari hummed happily as she looked for logs and wondered about the girl she had met. She was young but smart enough to see through simple tricks. That just made things more interesting. Having gathered enough logs she skipped back to where she left the girl and dropped the logs into the fire and said happily "I'm back! The fire should last awhile now." Red nodded, "Thank you," A smile tugged at the edge of her lips. She sat up a bit and let the fire warm her hands. Mist drifted across the darkening sky as she heard the flap of bird wings as they flew to their nests. She wished she was a bird, sort of. She wished she could have the freedom to comb the skies and do whatever the heck she wanted. But then again, she sort of was a bird. She shuffled her wings that were hidden under her jacket. She blinked slowly as she watched Akari like a hawk. (Hey I might not be able to reply much. I have summer classes)) Akari noticed and stared back smiling and didn't glance away, instead she studied her. After having another assessment she chirped "So where are you from dolly?" She still hadn't looked away and honestly she saw no need to. If she was going to be stared at thre was no point in not doing the same.

(Sorry it's taken me so long to reply. School has been burying me in work.) Liz noticed that she didn't actually say where she was from but decided that it was best to leave it be for now. "I know that but it feels weird, like I'm about to walk into a haunted city or something from a horror movie. Even if there's a few people I'd feel like one of those characters that get killed first" Liz said shrugging slightly and trying trying to remember what horror movies had empty cites in them. The first ones were zombie ones. When she broke into a run though Liz paused for a moment before running after her. Being in a building sounded perfect. "You think those monsters will be in the city?" She asked (You're fine! I was on vacation anyway. ) "Horror movies often have some end. Just so long as you do not split up and go of into the dark like a blind idiot ..." said Vanessa simply. "We will be fine. Horror movies exaggerate the gore and not the work." She looked back, or would have, if she hadn't slowed her pace enough for Liz to catch up. "Often the one that hangs in the back gets killed first. Then perhaps it would put you more at ease to walk side-by-side?" Her lilting voice was amused but it help reassurance as well. "I think," the blix said. "That monsters will be in the city, yes. But there will be more resources in there as well. I deal with monsters as a living, so I find the prospect of facing them prepared far more reassuring than without anything." The first collapsed building came up. Vanessa slowed down to a walk again and she pressed a finger to her lips. "Often," she added in a lower voice. "Keeping your voice low will help." (Ok I have a stupid question. How would all the groups find out about it?) Liz offered a nervous chuckle "I'll try not to do anything too stupid." And was glad when Vanessa slowed a bit. The idea of more monsters was terrifying and she wasn't sure how they'd handle it if they were trapped, but she bit her tongue about it. "I'll keep that in mind." She said lowering her voice and looking at the building "Are these buildings going to fall if we go in them?" (Sorry it's so jumbled. I wasn't really sure how to respond))

"From the best I can tell it's safe," she said to Liz. "I'll look in the back. You can do what you like." (Alright! And I sort of forgot where this group was, so I’ll just throw out a starter for them again.) Mikaela slowed his pace a bit as soon as he began getting tired. He had practically been fast-walking through the destroyed town they were in, and it must have been at least an hour or so that they had actually left the grocery store. But he wasn’t going to stop for a break until one of the others said something. He glanced over his shoulder to check that the group was still behind him. Seeing that they were, his gaze moved forward again with a sigh. broken Auransky --cato phoenix"We need to stop, Mikaela," Kid said with a sigh, finally voicing his thoughts. "Food, or water, or something. We can't keep walking like this with no clear destination at the very least. Finding a pace with maps would be ideal, but failing that, a high building that wont collapse under our weight. Can we do that?" Something out of the corner of his eye moved. A shadow at the edge of a building. His head snapped in that direction, but nothing. Had he imagined it?

Something scuttled behind her, but she didn't jump or look around. Instead she just moved to one of the walls and scrapped a finger down its side. Sooty. "Liz?" she called. "See anything?" Scuttling again. Ah grand.

She walked up using her power and looked at the roof and felt for any indents that would suggest a attic. (what were you planning for that shadow you mentioned earlier?))

She watched Liz go and then turned away, stalking back toward the main room. She moved with purpose, but also quietly. She made a beeline for the charred remains of the games and started looking to the dark backs, completely ignoring any surviving wires. It would hide in the dark and it would try and keep away from noise. It probably needed heat, so it would stay near places that had or once had electricity. Equelly, it must be hungry. Hopefully she'd find it before Liz came back.

Climbing out of the attic she jumped down and set down the stuff and went to the back door and looked out. When she deemed it safe she went through and found a door. Going in she looked around and saw it was a old break room with a second room on the side that had a sign that said 'Mantience' and she decided to look in there and went into the room and noticed how warm it was. She call out hoping the walls were thin enough for Vanessa to hear her "Hey becareful with those wires! This room back here is warm and I think it's because theirs power going through the building!"

But where? She brushed a couple of wires, careful to make sure none were connected. There wasn't anything here. Carefully she listened. There might have been rustling from a corner. She slowly hopped back on her heels and stood up, walking cat-like toward the corner. The rustling grew louder and as she moved she reached into the bag at her side. This thing better be worth it, she thought, moving slowly. She did something quickly, then, as she approached the corner she spread her legs a little wider and leaned forward. The machine might once have been one that took tickets. It was a burned out husk now. The rustling stopped and a small red nose snuffled out of one of the many holes. Vanessa lunged, not for the hole, but for a space just below it. There was a shrill screech and Vanessa tut-tutted as she pulled something about the size of a kitten out of the machine. She held it up, one hand gently holding the head so she wouldn't get burned by the fire it was spitting furiously at her and the other gripping it's midsection. "What are you?" she questioned. "I've never seen a fire creature like you before." It had bright red and gold wings and looked a bit like a cross between a lizard and a bird. It had a beak and scaled claws, but the body and tail looked like a lizard's. It squirmed, beating its wings against her arms. "Shhhhh," she reassured, rubbing a thumb at the underside of its chin. "You're too interesting to hurt."

Auransky Kuragehime mintedstar/furRin only listened to what Akira had to say, then nodded. She clapped her hands together, before pointing over towards a building in the distance, one that looked like an old clocktower. “Good idea! But I need to say, there’s something important in that building not too far off,” she muttered, winking at the group. “There’s something there that’ll tell you more about how to escape this place and return home.” The witch soon quieted down after that, crossing her arms as she glanced around, hoping that they’d actually listen. — Mint, Dia, --cato phoenixMikaela quickly glanced back at the group then stopped completely, saying a quick thank you to them for deciding to stop. He then stood there silently for a few moments before walking over to one of the storefronts to find some shade. “Does an hour or so of rest sound good to everyone?” He asked, leaning up against the store’s wall, staring back at the group. “Or should the break be longer?” He really didn’t care what it was, but he figured that was a reasonable timeframe.

I like that idea!]] Also, what shall we do with the group in the town with power (Sora, Shiro, Conan, Noctis, etc)?]] (Hmm maybe while out exploring they can find a note explaining the ‘rules’ of the world they’re in or maybe run into something that chases them out of town? idk either that or they can run into another group?)

(Cool!) Liz felt around until she saw a square indent and she pushed the wood panel to find a old burnt looking attic. There were some piles of ash there but she did see some boxes that looked to be in OK shape. She went to these and rummaged through them and found an odd spray bottle with who knows what in it. Deciding to take it, she tucked it under her arm and went on looking around. When she was done she sighed to herself knowing it was time to go into the alley way to look around. This room back here is warm and I think it's because theirs power going through the building!" (How are you doing?) That explained that at least. Vanessa smiled a bit to herself, but didn't answer least she spook ... something. Come on, she thought. I know you're here. "You're too interesting to hurt." (I'm good, what about you?) Liz carefully moved through the room and saw things were burnt and wires sparked. She still looked around but still she couldn't see anything. "Man it's a wonder this whole place doesn't feel like a furnace." She muttered to herself as she moved out of the room deciding not to mess around in there for too long. Liz gathered her stuff and made sure there was nothing else to see and walked out of there and hurried into the main building again. "Hey we should sort through this stuff and get out. Those wires are heating half this place up and I don't want to be here if it decides to catch fire again." she called to Vanessa. Looking at the other pile of things, she set down what she had and went looking for Vanessa. When she found her Liz saw the creature and jumped out the room and asked alarmed "What in the world is that and why are you holding it?!". She stayed out of the room and instead peaked in, not wanting to be near the thing in case it pulled something and tried to kill them. Maybe she was being irrational but honestly she just didn't want to take the chance.

broken mintedstar/fur KuragehimeAkira turned his attention towards the area in question. Seeing as their group has grown, maybe a little risk wouldn't hurt. Well they haven't encountered anything of the sort yet. "We might as well." He shrugged . "We don't have much else to do." broken mint --cato phoenixRan nodded with her hands on her hips. "Reasonable enough." but you are just as stubborn as him... she wanted to shrug but held in the urge. "But this is a team effort and it depends on everyone agreeing "

(Having them find information or rules sounds like a good plan!) broken Auransky KuragehimeMonarch looked less ... less annoyed now that Rin seemed to have given them something. He needed something. Akira wasn't wrong, but Monarch was feeling a bit disheartened. A goal. A way out. A way to get out, preferably, without anyone annoying following him. If they came from different world, it might not matter, but what he really needed to make sure was that if it was that if this thing that was important was information, he got to it before the others. His expression showed only a slight brightening, like his mood had just improved after learning that. "Then heading that way is what we need to do." Hyuse hoped that maybe this new goal would snap Callie out of it. Maybe even Luffy would start acting ... better. He really doubted that. Really, really heavily doubted that. But he would wait and he would listen and let others take the lead as he figured things out. Kasha just brightly smiled. "Ah," he said. As if that answered everything in the world. His thoughts weren't fathomable. -- broken, Dia, --cato phoenix (and Hime! We're going to throw in a little bother. :3 ) "Fine," said Kid with a frown, though he didn't know what could be done in that time. He looked over at Ran. Nothing was said, at least not directly to her, and instead he addressed anyone who was listening. "Savaging anything useful would be ideal. Food mostly." He eyed Arlo and Mikaela, particularly. "How are you two on that?" He wasn't sure if the girl who had been able to scare off those shadowy creatures needed something other than human food, but if their last stop had said anything that was a no. Mika was a different story, but he seemed to carry everything around with him anyway. "Water? And maybe some working lights. That seems pretty basic, but a map might also help." A light might have helped, but the shadows were moving behind Mika. It wasn't cold, it wasn't windy, there was no TV type dramatics, but a boy laughed. Kid jerked his head around, but couldn't tell where it was coming from. "I said I could find people," crooned a voice.

mintedstar/fur broken Auransky Kuragehime"Sounds good to me," said Arlo, coming to a stop by the building. "As for food, I had some earlier, but I wouldn't mind if we found more. It would be good if we found something we could bring with us for later." Though she was responding to the others, she didn't seem to be focused on them. Instead her attention had been drawn to the shadows. They were moving in a way that didn't make sense to her, and something just felt... off. Since she'd gained her powers several years ago she'd had a strange way of sensing when other people were nearby. Right now it felt like there were more people in the area than the group she'd been traveling with. She heard the unfamiliar laugh and immediately looked toward where she believed the sound was coming from, her left hand gripping the hem of her right glove. "Who's there?" she asked.

I just got back from a dance. ) The creature still struggled in Vanessa's hands, but it had stopped blowing fire. Instead, Vanessa turned to look back at where Liz was huddled up. "Magical creature," she said. "Probably hatched here, or its mother and father were the ones to set this place on fire." Her attention moved back to the bird-like creature and continued, "And I explained that I am an expert in magical creatures. They can be useful. Personally, I think something that can light a cooking fire is very useful." She continued to stroke the creature's head until it stopped panicking. "Why I told you to look around. I did not want you to spook it." And she dropped one hand to her side, fully turning to face Liz. "And did you find anything?"
