Kuragehime"That doesn't sound like it is going to work," Hyuse pointed out. Though he didn't have a better idea. The light thing didn't respond, either by wiggling its 'tentacle' or otherwise. Hyuse wasn't surprised and just crossed his arms. Outside, they sky no longer held any light. He couldn't make out much through this creatures branching arms, but he thought things were moving out there. He shuddered. Would anything be coming in here? Did this creature's shocking power work on the things that came at it from the other side?

"Another stormcaller, eh? This should be interesting!" Jason called out in return, flicking one of his ears. Amarie flew in closer, before opening her maw, and firing a large blue lightning bolt at the giant monster.
Rai followed up that attack by firing a missle into the monster's leg, freezing it solid.

--cato phoenix Even though Mikaela looked happy for a brief moment, it soon faded as he continued walking through the store. He paused by a few shelves and looked at a few things, but he never picked anything up. He glanced back at Arlo, shrugging. "I guess we owe you one?" He slowed the pace a little more, looking at what she had grabbed. "Anyway, is that all? Should we return to the others?" Arlo picked up a few more things as she followed Mikaela through the store, occasionally stuffing things into the pockets of her jacket. She glanced at the vampire when he stopped, then looked through the things she'd picked up, mostly food, though she'd also picked up some other things she'd thought they might need. "Yeah sure, I think this is enough for now," she replied, her visible eye scanning the shelves again just in case she spotted anything else that would be useful. |

Saphira, knowing she wasn't able to get in close, and breathing fire would likely have no affect, she swooped downward into the trees. When she emerged, she was carrying a large boulder about half the size of her. Though the boulder was heavy, she was still able to gain altitude rather easily, and she dropped the massive rock as she circled far over the lizard.

( aw :/ ) 𝒓𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒏 Ciel snorted at their arguing, still keeping the same pace as they soon neared the old crumpled city, and eventually walked through its welcome gates. All the buildings were in horrible condition and they were all abandoned with no electricity. The boy picked his way over debris as he headed straight for the supermarket where the group should be. "They can deal with a flower. They've already dealt with a cocky know-it-all goddess," he said, rolling his eyes as he said it. "Besides that, we are stopped here temporarily for rest and some food." Finally, the market came into view and he glanced back towards the other two before walking through the broken door, pausing on the other side for them. (( Apparently it's my anxiety making me feel just awful everyday. I have to take medicine for it now. :/ )) broken "Excuse me, I'm not just--" Frisk looked at Flowey with an expression that practically said "don't talk anymore." Flowey grumbled angrily, but otherwise agreed to stay silent for now. She nodded to Ciel as thanks, and stepped through the open door.
"Food and rest right now sounds great. I'm kinda tired... how about you, Flowey?" The flower was silent as promised, so instead he simply nodded. Frisk smiled and observed their surroundings in the abandoned building. "You know, I kind of wonder what happened to this whole town... It seems to have been left behind a while ago. I wonder why." |

Fire the Watcher of the valeThe boulder beaned the giant lizard in the forehead, and made it stumble back, stunned. Amarie took this chance to fly in close, and Jason jumped, energy gathering around him. "Diamond Storm!" With a shout, he showered the face of the monster with crystalline energy shards, before being caught by Amarie and moved away.

Saphira swooped downward, getting in range for Eragon to cast a spell. "Kvistr malthinae!" Eragon shouted. Immediately, vines and branches from the trees began to rapidly curl themselves around the gigantus lava lizard. Saphira then flew back out of range of the lava lizard. The drain of the spell had used up much of Eragon's energy, though he still had large quantities of it stored up in the assorted gems in his gear. The sudden exhaustion, however, nearly caused him to black out. luckily he had strapped himself into Saphira's saddle, or else he would have fallen off of her. He drew some energy from the gem in the pommel of his blade, just enough to allow him to think clearly. I think that might have been too much. He admitted to saphira.

Mikaela nodded briefly before turning away from her. Now they just had to find the other group, where ever they are. He continued to walk down the aisle silently, making his way towards the ground of the store. Hopefully the others might be finished, too, so they can go and catch up to the other group they had left. Once the vampire made it to the front of the store, he began scanning the area. "Do you see anyone?" -- 𝒓𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒏(Oh  well I hope you feel well soon!) Ciel blinked once as he noticed that there was already a gathering group near the front. He wasn't sure if they were finished looking for things or not. He nodded at what Frisk said, looking in her direction. "There are some here who know about what happened to this place. Some thief and a vampire, and I think a human with powers might also know," he muttered, crossing his arms as he leaned against a wall with a sigh. "They are somewhere around here. Good luck finding them." |

"Eragon! I don't know how much power you got left, but store it up for one more attack! I have an idea!" Rai shouted out, as ports on his back legs opened, and fired out missiles, freezing the giant lizard solid. Jason smiled, knowing what his partner was thinking. "Let's smash this thing into bits!!"

broken "Oh. Are you not going to follow?" Frisk sounded a bit worried.
"Good riddance if that's the case." Flowey grinned. "You really bug me, you know that? Probably more than I bug you!" He received a gentle yet firm pat on the face from Frisk. "Hey, watch it!" He hissed and quickly looked away from them, annoyed once again. Frisk sighed, already getting tired of constantly having to keep her flower friend from getting into trouble.
"Well, if you don't want to come looking for them with us, that's fine.. I'm not going to force you to."

𝒓𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒏Ciel was silent for a little bit as he thought. He probably shouldn't just leave them to introduce themselves to the group since they were new around here. After a moment, the boy looked at Frisk, completely ignoring anything that Flowey said at this point. "I think I'll follow you, there are a few things I need to pick up anyway," he muttered, then looked away. There was already a small group gathering at the front, but it didn't seem like everyone was back yet. "Maybe we can pick up a few items, then meet everyone else back here once we're done?" He suggested.

"Alright." Eragon shouted as he began to sit up on Saphira. Though he had used some of the energy stored in Brisingr, his body still ached and he knew most spells would be to much for him to use on his own. instead, as Saphira dropped altitude, he stated, "stenr reisa." A few dozen tiny pebbles started to levitate around them. Saphira began her ascent again, though this time she circled a bit lower. Using the same spell as before, he sent the rocks hurtling towards the lava lizard in all different directions at speeds faster than even an arrow, hoping to find a weak point.

Fire the Watcher of the valeThe many pebbles impacted the frozen monster, and cracked the ice somewhat, but didn't seem to do much damage. However, the crack was largest in the middle of the torso, perhaps that was the weak point? Amarie flew Jason as close as she could to Eragon and Saphira without interrupting her flight pattern. Jason then called out. "Hey, mind if I hop over? I may not know how you're doing this, but it's obvious by this point that it's sapping your energy. Take some of mine!" He offered.

Eragon contemplated the offer for a moment, but declined. "If something happens and I cast the wrong spell, things could go wrong very quickly. I have jewels in my belt, the hilt of my sword, and in my armor, all of which I've stored years and years worth of energy in. If I use your energy and word something wrong, it could potentially drain all of our energy, killing us both. I won't put you or anyone in a position where my memory of the ancient language determines whether or not you live, so thank you for the offer, but I can't do that. Believe me, though, this is nothing compared to the conditions I've been in. the first time I ever used magic, I used so much that I nearly died. If it weren't for Saphira or my first mentor, who I later found out was my father, I probably would have. I ended up sleeping for three whole days. In addition to possibly killing you, in order to use your energy, I would have to enter your mind, which would allow me to see pretty much your entire life, and I really don't enjoy seeing every aspect of people's lives."

Jason shivered slightly. There were some things in his head that were best left hidden. Such as the time he has spent with his fiance, Terra. "Very well, but if the situation is truly desperate, do not hesitate to draw from me. My past is something not easily shared, but I trust you." Jason then wanly smiled, as Amarie gave the other dragoness space. He truly is a unique man, that Eragon. Heh... something tells me he and Thomas would get along, while Marcus would likely throw a punch or two. He pondered to himself.

"It's not like I can go anywhere anyway, idiot." The flower rudely responded. Frisk laughed a bit and pet him gently, then headed off in a random direction to search for any canned food. She walked down an aisle, humming a tune softly.

𝒓𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒏Ciel sighed and followed after the girl and the flower. He wasn't really used to the set up of this place, since he had never been inside a supermarket before. He usually just had his butler do the shopping for him. He passed a few items, eventually stopping and picking up a box of crackers. "Are these any good?" He asked, turning them over in his hand before keeping up with her.

broken Frisk turned and looked at the box of crackers that Ciel was holding, thinking about his question. She wasn't exactly sure, so she shrugged. "We can take them, and if they taste bad then just don't eat them. Most canned foods usually last for a while, but not all."
"I hope you all know that I can't even eat food." Flowey growled, "I'm a flower, in case you forgot that." He glared at them, still upset. Especially at Frisk.
"Sorry Flowey."

𝒓𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒏Ciel shrugged and continued down the aisle, looking for the canned items that Frisk was talking about. "Canned items? Canned items are safe to eat, correct?" He asked, then realized that was probably a stupid question and tried to explain himself. "I have someone go to a bakery, butcher shop, and other places to buy food. So it's fresh." He tried his best to ignore Flowey, but it was sort of hard to do at this point. He was about to make a snarky remark, but decided against it. "Well, Flowey, are you able to eat anything?"

broken "Oh, I see. That's alright.." She spoke calmly as she continued to look for more supplies that would be useful for their survival. Who knows how long they'd be trapped in this unknown world.. They might even be stuck here for eternity. She desperately hoped that wasn't the case, her friends were probably worried sick... Frisk sighed and focused on the task at hand, knowing that feeling sad over something she couldn't control wasn't the best choice right now. "We'll just have to be careful about what we choose then."
"What do you think, idiot?" Flowey hissed in response. "I'm a flower! It's kinda obvious. Water, soil, and sunlight." He wished a hole would just appear so that he could jump into it and not have to deal with these two anymore. He stared at the ground, his petals a bit wilted.

(Okay Fire and Reen.) 𝒓𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒏Ciel stared at Frisk as she spoke, now suddenly feeling stupid for what he had just said. This girl probably thinks he was crazy now and probably doesn't want to be with him. He silently grabbed a few more things off the shelf, though they were now canned items. Then, as Flowey spoke again, the boy couldn't help but glare in his direction with a snort. "Excuse me, but I didn't know if talking flowers required different attention than regular flowers," he said, quickly looking away from him. "Now I'm beginning to wonder why I decided to help you in the first place..." he trailed off as he quickened his pace to get in front of the two and continue looking around. |

"Yeah, cool. Thanks for telling some random stranger about me." Flowey responded in dissatisfaction, "Look, I just want to go back home right now. I'm already starting to really hate this place. If I have to stay here any longer I'm going to go crazy!"
