"I see what you mean by that," said Monarch. He followed the boy up the stairs. "But I can contradict you on the informative part. I have run across other groups before this one and I know that she has not been truthful about what she has said about them. In fact, I believe she is trying to pass them off as deadly monsters." His voice held a frown. He was getting dangerously close to having Akira fact check what he said. For him to ask for proof. Monarch knew that once you started lying, which he would have to do if asked any questions, he would be at risk of being found out.

(Not a clue. o.o Wanna make something up? xD Time skip or... something? I've got no idea what was happening.)

(Might as well! That about matches time-wise and it sounds like what they would have to do before traveling again.)

Hozuki turned when he heard Akari call out to him, and his facial expression hardly changed once he looked at her. He squinted his already narrow eyes and gave her a slight nod. "Good evening," he replied. The hand holding the club twitched, but made no movement to hold it up. This girl may be a bit too high-energy for his taste, but at the moment he deemed her not to be a threat.
Shiro had followed Hozuki outside, and the moment he saw Akari his tail started wagging. Without a warning to Hozuki, the dog trotted forward to greet the girl. "Hello!" he barked.

Calli nodded, and did her best to hurry up the rest of the stairs. Larger chunks fell off a few of the next few, but still left enough stair to stand on. She glanced back over her shoulder once more to look at the tonberries, and saw the one that Hyuse kicked was on its feet again though still missing its lantern. The other two had turned their attention back to Calli and Hyuse, but with their tiny steps they were still out of striking range.

Prompto grinned from ear to ear at the sound of the engine running. "Dude, that was awesome!" he exclaimed. "You gotta teach me how to do that! If our car ever breaks down again back in Lucis I'll wow them all with my amazing car handling skills," he added with a laugh. He waltzed back to the driver's side and looked up at Sora with a smirk. "You really had to ask?" He climbed inside and sat himself down in the driver's seat. After buckling the seatbelt he reached for the steering wheel and glanced to Sora. "You ready?"

"I'm sorry, but I can't." Eragon stated firmly. "Saphira and I have enough responsibilities as it is, as we're the oldest living dragon-rider pair still alive, though I'm definitely not the oldest in age. In fact, I'm the youngest, as my elder half-brother and an Elf by the name of Arya are the other two riders still alive. Saphira is the oldest dragon still with a bodily form. Together, Saphira and I lead the riders and will protect and train any dragon eggs or new riders that happen to emerge."

(Speaking of groups...What ever happened to Yu, Jason, and Kasha? I think I missed replying or was possibly waiting for broken. ^^' )

Yuichiro had just been listened into, taking in everything they were saying. Though, it was obvious that he still didn't understand much of that Jason was talking about with the Digimon stuff.<br>The boy just shrugged before trotting after them. "Wait, so are we going to get Luffy, Saphire, and Eragon now?" He asked

Hyuse was not so careful at climbing the stairs. He scrambled ungracefully up them. He wanted out. Out of the dark. He couldn't fight in this world and the only thing between him and it was his Trion body. The stairs nearly gave in under his weight, but he didn't slow. He came to stand beside Calli, looking back to see that the stair were now almost gone. "Lets just get out of here," he said.

"It works for me," said Kid, following the vampire. He frowned at the door. "As long as no one expects us to knock." He looked around at the other, frowning a little at the rag-tag group. They probably weren't going to make it to the other city, where Conan was, not today. For tonight, it was department store sleeping.

Akari looked up at him and said brightly "Hello! I'm Akari." She stood up and dusted the dirt off her pants before asking "Do you have any idea where we are?" She then took a minute to study the man and when she saw the spiked club she said "Oh nice weapon by the way! It really brings your whole look together."

Sora grabbed a hold of the strap of the seatbelt as he looked around some, not really caring about how fast Prompto was going. They didn't seem to be in any danger yet. He blinked, leaning forward a bit to looked toward the field that he was talking about. "Oh that! There probably is," the teen said, looking around some, then pointed. "Hm? That about down here? Turn left."

Yuichiro blinked and then nodded, looking at them. "Uh yes, that's fine with me. After all, we should probably stop their fighting if they hadn't already determined a leader," he replied with a smile, quickening the pace some to keep up.

"Agreed," Calli said. She looked ahead and felt a little better seeing only a few more stairs ahead of them, and her snail waiting at the top. She had let it slither up the wall when she first started up the stairs. The next step had numerous cracks in it and she gingerly stepped over it one foot at a time, cringing when she heard more cracking sounds from under her feet. After that one there were three more, and then a space where the last two were missing. Once she reached that gap she launched herself over it, landing back on the street after skidding on her stomach a little. "Finally! Solid ground!" she exclaimed, staying put where she lay.

Hozuki shook his head. "I am afraid not. We only know that this world is not our own, and it seems to have been abandoned by those who lived here previously," he answered. At the comment about his club he glanced at it, and the usual frown on his face lessened a bit. "I am glad to hear you think so. I have also found it to be very helpful with getting my workers to stay in line," he murmured. It was hard to tell if that last part was sarcasm or not.

"Left? You got it!" Prompto said. He grabbed the wheel and jerked it to the left, placing each hand over the other. The wheels screeched a bit on the street as they turned, and once they rounded the corner Prompto could see what looked like open space past the end of the street. He reached out one hand for the radio, just curious to see if it still worked, but all he got was muffled white noise. "I figured as much..." he murmured.

Well, if it makes you feel any better, he did get his license... and Noctis let him drive the royal car - until he nearly crashed it to save a puppy xD]]

Tbh, we really only see Prompto drive twice, and they're really short clips, but the other three main characters are always making comments that he's a bad driver (and that he doesn't even have a car of his own, poor guy)]]
And no worries, this made me remember a little convo between them I just saw the other day lol. They were talking about having their friend Ignis (who I might add to the Museum down the line) do all the driving since he's the best and it went something like this:
Gladiolus: Good, Ignis can keep all four eyes on the road (Ignis wears glasses)
Prompto: I don't think I could even keep one!

So yup xD]]
