These snails communicate telepathically, and so the people in One Piece have taken advantage of this xD]] mintedstar/fur: I shall throw in some tonberries from FFXV then~]] Calli had started humming softly along to her playing, but all of it suddenly stopped and she stared ahead with wide eyes. She poked Hyuse in the shoulder a couple times before pointing straight ahead of them. There shining just beyond a bend in the tunnel were what looked like lights from multiple lanterns. Soon enough, they started to slowly round the corner... emphasis on slowly. It turned out they were indeed lanterns, tiny ones, and the things they belonged to were tiny as well. It was hard to tell in the dark, but these creatures stood no more than three feet off the ground and were slightly hunched over. They had smooth reptilian heads with short snouts and beady yellow eyes. They wore brown hooded cloaks around their bodies, and long fish tails dragged along the ground behind them. The light from their lanterns glinted off of a small knife in their other hand. Calli wasn't sure what to think of them. At first they looked kind of cute, but the knives worried her. ~~~ broken and Mint: Hozuki nodded, and went back to slowly finishing his plate of noodles. Shiro had come to sit next to him, but he jumped to his paws when Conan got up. He trotted over to the detective, tail wagging. "Can I come too? I wanna see the rooms!" he barked. "Shiro, you and I can go and look later," Hozuki called after the dog. Conan hadn't sounded like he was in the best of moods, and Hozuki didn't want the dog bothering him. Shiro's ears drooped. "Aww, but I wanna go look now!" ~~~ Fire the Watcher of the vale, broken, and Mint: Luffy inclined his head in an enthusiastic nod. "Yup! Got it!" he exclaimed. "Can we start now?" Even before he finished asking the question, he bent down to get in his fighting stance and started winding up one arm. This may take a while, "surrender" is not in Luffy's vocabulary xD]] Also, sorry it's short >_<]] |

(Sorry these are short) mintedstar/furYuichiro blinked, looking down at his sword with a frown. "W-what?" He asked softly under his breath, not really sure how to explain the feeling. After a moment, the teenager backed away, his sword almost falling out of his hand. He felt as if he didn't have the strength to hold it up. Staring at the spirit, he asked, "so do you use magic or something?" -- Kuragehime, Mint Sora looked over from Conan to the group on the couch. "Aw c'mon! Let the dog go with the kid," he muttered under his breath, shaking his head as he continued to eat the noodles. |

Kuragehime and brokenConan ignored everyone. If the dog wanted to come the dog could come, he didn't care. He put his hands in his pockets and head down as he started to climb the stairs. His head still pounded every now and again, but at least food had seemed to help. His steps were heavy and he was tired, even if it still was light outside. Right now, he wanted to sit on a real chair. Look out at a world that didn't seem like it had seen the Apocalypse. But that wasn't going to happen. He was stuck here and he hated it. He kicked out at a wall, not realizing he had done it until his foot started to throb. He sighed. What had gotten into him? He turned into the hallway, walking along it until he found the room that matched his key card. After he opened the door (which required some creative jumping around, as well as using a nearby potted plant), he was glad to see that his room actually did have a real chair. -- Hime: Hyuse didn't like the look of the knives either, but was less on edge than Calli. "Wonder what those things are," he muttered, wrapping his hand tighter around his map trigger. He waited, seeing if they would make the first move. He wondered if he would be any match against them. He was pretty sure that the size difference was going to be deceiving. -- broken"Or something," Kasha agreed, backing up to allow Yuichiro room. It would be no fun if he was defeated on the first move. How strong is your mind? Strong enough to notice that any 'spell' I cast on you makes you feel something, but that feeling is just a little off, like it doesn't exist? Realize that, boy, break it.The spirit grinned, waiting. The flames around him danced crimson and deep purple. His hand help more black mist, ready.

sweetclover1 broken --cato phoenix AuranskyKid looked back at her, shock registering in his eyes. Then, slowly, something bubbled up in his throat and suddenly he found himself laughing. He started to laugh so hard he had to brace himself again the nearest wall. Conan, you are doom, he thought. D-O-O-M-E-D.
"Hey Ran!" he said between chuckles. "How's life?" His voice faded back to normal as he spoke, sobering. Ran wasn't going to take kindly to his outburst. This could end badly. -- Diamond and broken "So, it would basically function as a map?" questioned Monarch, putting his beat up computer back in his bag. The screen was hardly staying on and about three cracks ran over the keyboard, nearly splitting the whole thing in half. He was very interested in this app. Akira's world itself seemed very interesting. What else could this quiet boy have hidden away?

Akio shot Ciel a rather dirty look as they walked along, but said absolutely nothing. He could be pleasant if he chose to, it was just around the little brat he usually wasn't.
"Aww, we aren't that bad, Ciel," The god hummed as they followed, having been oddly silent for most of the conversation, trailing the rest of the group. She didn't trust them quite yet, so she kept to the back, glancing up sharply at the laugh.

Difference is I get to actually listen and probably remember it this time xD)) Ran blinked in silence back at Kid, it was indeed a shocking and a surprise. As much as she had a score to settle with Kid, now wasn't the time to do such rash actions. It was get answers, find someone she knew, and figure this out. At least something Shinichi would always tell her. Then kid broke out in laughter, this had her step out and raise a brow, "What's so funny?" She asked now completely lost. Rather then being on guard, she was most confused by this. "i'm doing okay, and apperntly you seem fine too." She replied slowly still much very confused. Mint brokenAkira nodded, "The app converts just about anywhere. We went to the States, got lost in Europe, and went to Latin America. Everywhere we went the app would convert currency, and have a detailed map of not just the outside, but inside locations as well." He explained. Once he was back up he played with the toy sword some more, it was obvious he was going to buy it with the little canned travel items he spotted out. "It's the creepy version of google maps, if you want to sum it up. It stalks people, and stalks the people around you. It makes knowing what's ahead a lot easier if we obtain a map of the area ahead of time, or mark it all ourselves."

Was it normal for multiple people from one world to be sent there? She rolled her eyes at her own thoughts. Of course it wasn't normal, she was in another world, with people from several different world- there was nothing about this situation that was even close to 'normal'. "Someone you know, I guess..?"

It looks like that app might come in handy, but isn't it strange stalking people through an phone?" -- Mint, Dia, --cato phoenix, sweetclover1Mikaela just glared at the new person who had approached, then finally looked away and towards Arlo and Kid with a sigh. "Another person will be joining us, I guess.." Ciel looked over at Akiko, but said nothing. He was sure that was faulse, but there was no point in arguing over that any longer. -- Mint, KuragehimeSora made a face as Conan didn't say anything. "Wow, looks like someone needs to get some sleep," he commented softly with a chuckle. Shiro had stood up and was now slowly making her way out if the lobby. "Going to room, too," she muttered softly, still holding her noodle soup in one hand and the key card in the other. -- Mint Yuichiro tightened his grip on his sword, try his best to keep it held up. "Interesting," he commented softly, quickly digging around in his pocket. Soon, he pulled out another spell tag, then chucked it in the spirits direction, hoping it would stick to Kasha. He quickly muttered the same spell again, since it was the only one he knew. The tag, once again, began smoking.

This would prove to be very interesting. Ciel and, apparently, a god both wanted to see the book full of names of the people in the world. If Ran was coming along, whether she knew she was or not, then she had a good chance of seeing the names. Like the name Shinichi Kudo inside-parentheses Conan Edogawa. That would raise an eyebrow. -- Dia and broken "While anywhere else, converting currency would be useful," muttered Monarch. "This place is a deadzone. Take what you need." Lincoln wondered if Akira was aware that a toy sword would be useless here. Some people had actual swords. Keeping track of any random items picked up would be an inconvenience. He raised an eyebrow at Rin. "Now, why would an app that stalks you be creepy?" His voice held some amused sarcasm. -- Kuragehime and broken (I'll probably just have Conan fall asleep. XD He'd be pretty tired and I want to start the nightares...) -- broken Kasha smiled a little at the comments going between the other fighting pair. As his attention returned to the fight at hand he basically let the spell tag come close enough to cause damage. He held out the hand full of dark mist. Once again, it wasn't really going to do anything, only create the illusion of something. This time, instead of effecting the sense of touch he simple let it effect the sight. What appeared to happen was Kasha seemed to send the spell tag back at Yuichiro, then it seemed to explode in the place between them. What actually happened was the spell tag exploded right where it had landed (had Kasha not have dodged, it would have hit him). This was then covered up by an illusion that the ground was hole and clean (leaving a rather nasty hole, invisible to Yuichiro). Kasha hissed, happy that that had given him a challenge. The edge of his hair was slightly burnt and smoking.

That aside she stepped forward, "So just to be sure Kid, you aren't responsible for all of this?" She wanted to assure. It was perhaps a bizare question to add, but this was The Phantom Thief who was known for causing Chaos without anyone realizing it. broken MintAkira raised a brow, Rin was certain through his app. Had his own past year not been as wrecked as it had been, he would have asked. But because of it, that comment alone was normal as can be. He nodded silently, "I should feel honored to have been selected then." He let out a small sigh. Then his attention shifted elsewhere at the mention of stalking people, "Well it's not the entire function. The app is very complicated, but if I were to summerize it in simple terms Stalking is the best related explanation within seconds." He explained. "When scouting you want to know who's up ahead, and if any other possible route is possible." He paused deciding to hold back the other end of the coin. The content was complicated and explaining it fully would have been a headspinner. He turned his attention towards Monarch with a nod, "Just about anything can be converted to currency. Everyone see's currency differently, use that and within seconds it becomes our use." He smiled a bit, perhaps a bit too amused with the thought. He continued to play with the toy sword, turning away from the two. "I'm good, going to pay for these things and we'll get a move on." He informed the two walking off. The toy sword would prove of use to him at the moment.

It's practically a wasteland." -- Mint Yuichiro blinked, dodging to the side as he thought the spell tag was thrown back towards him. He frowned, not seeing past the illusion that he had just barely hit Kasha. What else can I try?He gripped the sword in both of his hands now, only now realizing that his strength was returning. This spirit was definitely strong and he began to doubt he might actually win. He had basically used up all his fighting tactics...besides allowing his demon possess him, but that never turned out good. "Well?" He smiled some, pointing his sword at Kasha. "Is there anything else you'd wish to see?"

broken mintedstar/furAkira stopped at the end of the isle, turning to face both Rin and Monarch. "So this isn't an Irish styled self served store?" He raised a curious brow. "I mean I noticed no people, but I assumed it was because the cash registers would scan my phone and charge from there." He facepalmed lightly, "Well if that's the case, then I should get a few more things, and probably a bag to carry-" He paused hearing a cat meowing. He raised a brow turning to his right, and nothing. He then turned to his left then leaned back in surprise. "There you are!" Cried out scuffed voice. "I been looking everywhere for you! I knew I'd find you, I had too." Akira knelt down tossing the toy knife into the basket which hung on his arm. He smiled, holding out an inviting hand, "Glad to see you're alright." He calmly replied. "Despite the circumstances, at least we are paired up! With us together, anything will be overcome!" The scuffed voice called out again. A cat came into Rin, and Monarch's view. A black cat with white paws, and a yellow collar. It was dragging along a duffel bag with the same logo as Akira's vest. The cat stopped and seated itself releasing the bag from its mouth, and purring as Akira pet it on the head. Though Akira may have herd a conversation, all anyone else would hear is the sound of the cat meowing. (IMPORTANT DETAIL)

Though I'm good, I don't think I could create a whole world, imprison people from other worlds in it, and then force them to entertain you. That would be Rin." --- broken Kasha considered this, beginning to float a few feet in the air. This was the only 'trick' that wasn't an illusion or a his ability to see through disguises. "Your best fighting tactic, of course. I've shown you mine. Return the favor." The spirit waited, eager to see what would happen. Did this boy have any more surprises like the spell tag? -- Auransky broken Monarch looked down at the cat, a little surprised. "Is that yours?" he asked, wondering how it had been trained to pull around a duffel bag, of all things. Then he realized that that statement could refer to the duffel bag or the cat. "Is the cat yours?" he clarified. He shoved his hands into his pockets, looked around as if he wasn't interested. Had this guy seriously not realized that this place was half destroyed? What types of places did he usually go to?

So far this is better then the usual." She declared walking over to kid. " not asking, I'm just going to stick with you. " she slowly walked over. Mint brokenAkira took the duffel bag and zipped it open, he then placed everything into the bag. Once the basket was empty he slid it to the side and instructed the cat to jump into the bag. Once the cat jumped into the bag and adjusted himself, Akira adjusted the bag's strap against his shoulder. He stood up now, the cat leaning against his back with a happy meow. "I'm so glad I found you!" Morgana happily meowed. Akira smiled with a nod turning his attention back to Monarch, "yea, this is my cat Morgana. And as you can probably see, we're very close."

--cato phoenix , sweetclover1 , mintedstar/fur , Auransky Mikaela was just staring at the newcomer, not really sure what to think. He knew she'd be joining the group, especially since she knew Kid. He sighed, looking the group over. "Uh, can we go now? We've been here long enough..." -- Mint, Dia Rin blinked, smiling as the cat approached. "Aw Akira, I didn't know you had a cat either! It's so cute," she commented, soon taking another step back with a nod. "Right, anyway, did the two of you get things that you needed?" -- Mint Yuichiro only nodded, half expecting that would be the answer. Though, he knew that he really didn't have any other tricks that Kasha might like. "I'll try my best," he replied, closing his eyes for a moment as he concentrated on his sword, allowing his demon to take over a little bit. He opened his eyes again, which now had a slightly red tint to them and they looked very cat-like. Now that he was like this, he'd be much stronger and faster than before. Thw fog around his sword had returned as he took a few steps toward Kasha, summoning more swords behind him, then launched then one-by-one at the spirit. If this didn't work, he had something else in mind.

It had also turned out that they understood the need for computer hacking, so Monarch felt that this gave them some common interest. However, Akira seemed like the type who would not understand the need for the organization Lincoln Gilroy was apart of. Hopefully, that would only stay within Monarch's knowledge. -- Broken "Oh, that does look familiar," said Kasha, referring to the cat-like eyes that Yuichiro had just gotten. As the swords were launched at him, Kasha dodged one easily, but they were moving faster now and the disappearing act worked better when Yuichiro was aiming and sending them all out at once. Kasha could appear one place and all that would happen would be that Yui would send another sword at him. Kasha felt one graze the edge of his kimono and gave up on the long distance dodging. He appeared right in front of Yuichiro, to close for him to use a sword without thinking first. He could end up hitting himself. |

With new purpose they started their trek across the tunnel to Calli and Hyuse, though their tiny feet were making that progression quite the slow one. The lanterns swayed as they walked, making the shadows dance on the walls around them. "W-What if we just run around them? They're kinda slow..." Calli whispered, taking a step closer to Hyuse. The snail in her arms reverted back to its original form and she held it close. She didn't bother to think about the possibility of their actions just being a ruse. ~~~ broken and Mint: Shiro ended up staying by Hozuki after the demon offered the dog the rest of his food. With the food in front of him, Shiro seemed to have forgotten about going upstairs with Conan completely as he sat with his tail wagging. Prompto had one eyebrow arched up. Each time he looked down at his plate to get another forkful of noodles, there seemed to be more veggies on it. Finally, he looked down at the right time and caught the culprit red-handed. It had been Noctis, as Prompto suspected. "Seriously bro? You can't even handle these tiny pieces?" he asked with a glance at his friend, trying to keep from laughing. "Don't like them," Noctis muttered in reply, quickly taking his hand back. ~~~ Fire the Watcher of the vale: I hope you don't mind me writing Luffy's attacks in Japanese, they just sound strange to me in English xD]] "Ok!" Luffy exclaimed. He leaned back, and at the same time threw his arm straight behind him. "Gomu gomu no...." he murmured, and then jerked his shoulder forward. "Pistol!" His tightly balled fist shot past him through the air straight at Eragon, aiming for his mid-section.

Kuragehime"We could try that," admitted Hyuse. He eyed the creatures, not liking their slow progress. He still thought it was misleading. Either they are really fast or they don't need to rest. In which case, we'll be running forever, that also wasn't a pleasant thought. "I suggest moving now, as soon as you can," said Hyuse. He wanted to bolt now, but waited. That surprised him a little. He may find Calli annoying a lot of the time, but he didn't want her dead. -- (Eat your veggies, children.  ) (I'll just leave Conan in limbo for a little. Bad nightmares will come soon. Poor guy.)

Akira looked back at Morgana who meowed at him. Being relaxed he nodded , "Lets get a move on." He agreed. " time definitely is ticking. "
Morgona purred against Akira's back. He mowed happily, but in reality was conversing with the boy.
"Well, this was unexpected but I scored while I was looking for you. This right off the bat has nothing to do with the metaverse. So it's safe to assume that our team is not endangered." He assured.

He had finished his portion of noodles and set the empty bowl down on the front counter. "Anyway, Prompto, whenever you finish, I'm cool with going and walking around like we said." -- Mint Yuichiro seemed satisfied by his progress at first, until Kasha appeared in front of him. Now frowning, some of the swords that were still fanned out behind him vanished into the fog and he stared at the spirit. "I still haven't gotten used to you doing that," the boy muttered, and with a fast movement, he backed away and made his way around behind Kasha.

"Skolir!" Eragon exclaimed, bracing himself in the event that his magic didn't work. A translucent blue screen surrounded him, shielding him from the attack. "Nice try." Eragon stated, releasing his grip on the magical shield. "Now it's my turn." He stopped for a moment, thinking of the right words to say. He ended up using his fallback word. "Brisingr!" Simultaneously, a large ball of fire shot towards Luffy while Eragon's sword ignited into blue flames.
