Rin smile, looking back at the two. "Why yes, of course there are also games here! We can go play a few if you guys said, continuing through the park. Then she looked at Hyuse. "And this will probably be the most fun you'll ever have. You won't regret it!"

Sora and Shiro both exchanged a glance as they continued. Sora nodded slowly. "You know, maybe I am starting to believe you. You are quite knowledgeable for your age, from what I can see at least."

Mikaela blinked, a little confused before looking over at Kid. He noticed how cold the air had gotten, but it didn't seem to be having the same effect it did on his companion- in fact, he could barely remember anything. "You know my name?" He eyes him suspiciously. "Have you been following me this whole time?"

"Anything besides this," Ciel replied, glancing over at Monarch with a smirk. "Preferably in my manor, where I know it's safe with little distractions." That wasn't entirely true, but he would much rather be there than this world. "I would also be away from all of you."

(You have no idea how long it took me to find a YouTube video for it. I just listen to the whole album, not the individual songs. But here it is: It just really reminded me of her and her 'little game'. It isn't a perfect fit, but oh well.  ) Hime and broken: Hyuse looked like he already was, but he didn't say anything and just continued following the girl. "Just pick something out so I can get this over with." (Hyuse's greatest fear may be fun. XD ) -- Conan didn't comment further. He'd said all he needed to on the subject. "So," he finally asked. "Where are we going if not back to the city? Just going to wander around the forest or try and find another city?" -- Broken: No good at all, thought the one clear part of Kid's brain. The rest was trembling, worried, in a corner of his consciousness. Kid eyes trailed slowly along the ground and up along the side of the path. Mika had seen something, hadn't he? The thief's vision wavered. A black...thing...was just on the edge of his vision. It floated, almost like a black ghost (on that was made of strips of cloth, that is). Mikaela can't remember me...? thought Kid slowly. He wasn't really sure what he could do about that, what with his vision already turning black around the edges. He felt...very helpless. His eyes returned to the vampire. He wasn't being affected in the same way...right? So... Kid's brain felt so slow. He lifted a hand and pointed off to Mika's left. "Th-that th-thing! Affects the brain." He was slightly surprised he manged to say that much. -- broken and sweetclover1 : "We want the same thing than," said Monarch with a grin. "Nothing I'd like more, in fact. Now, how do you suppose we do that?" He didn't think the boy had any idea about how to get out of there. Monarch didn't either, but at least he knew that another group had been making progress. He fingered something in his pocket with his good hand. Those letters he'd left...had they found out the code yet, he wondered... |

The vampire frowned, not really liking that he hadn't really answered his questions directly. Slowly, Mikaela turned his head to look at the floating creature again. "How exactly do you know that? Are you associated with it?" He asked.
He glared at Kid again, looking him over as if debating whether or not he was a potential threat. Part of him thought he wasn't, and he looked rather familiar, but how could he trust that?
"Seriously, I need answers here," he muttered, grabbing for his sword.

"Like I would know!" Ciel said, looking at Monarch. "Miroka, her annoying weapons, and I have been trying to figure that out for quite some time. I don't suppose you have an idea?"

(Cool!  But I did want to. I wouldn't have put in the effort if I didn't want to. So, it's all good.) (I'll just wait for Hime on both...) -- Sweet and broken: Monarch frowned, wondering how much he should say. If he was staying with this group for any length of time would it be useful for them to know anything? He shrugged. "There was anther group in the city last I checked. They had started looking around and should have found a book that has a list of every person here. The book is a list of people who have died and by everyone's name here there is a to be decided. Was that useful information to you?" -- broken: "K-Katio," stuttered Kid, trying to stand again. The creature seemed to be holding near the edge of the path, but the strength still seemed to slowly be draining from him. "Th-that thing st-steals memories." He only seemed to be managing small sentences and even that was sapping his strength. "P-ppossibly ki-killing mee." |

"Is that so?" Ciel muttered softly, shrugging, not really sure what to think of this. Why would their names be in a book in the first place? "Have you yourself seen this book?"

Mikaela stared at the creature for a moment, then looked away and back towards him. "So you're finally answering my questions, Katio," he said. "And you're trying to tell me this creature steals memories? He doesn't look that dangerous, I think you're lying. Either way, killing it would be fun, wouldn't it? Then I could kill you because you're human, right? I've never killed one of them before..."
He unsheathed his sword, slowly dragging the tip across the ground in front of him. "What do you think?" He took a step towards Kid.

Monarch smirked a little. "Yes, but you don't have to believe me, it doesn't matter. But it only tells us that we aren't alone in this world. And someone probably wants us dead." He'd left the book there because it wasn't relevant to him. He'd gotten what he wanted. The book was a interesting item, to be sure, but it was of little importance.

"Deal, do what you w-want." said Kid, as the dark at the edge of his vision finished closing in. His whole body was trembling and he finished falling to the group. The creature swooped closer, but seemed to be trying to avoid Mika.
Kid was only just conscious and watch Mika through half closed eyes. If the vampire or the thing was going to kill him, he wouldn't be able to do anything.
(Well, that got bad fast. )

"Sounds good to me," Prompto answered. He stopped for a moment to snap a picture of a bright flower off to the side, then a plant with oddly shaped leaves, and then another flower.
"I'm up for finding a city," Noctis answered, and Hozuki nodded in agreement.
Dog Shiro wasn't really listening anymore, he was too busy sniffing every new leaf he came across and then jogging to catch up to the group. His tail was wagging as he went along, he was very much enjoying himself.

"Let's try a game first! Is there one of those shooting games? Or a ring toss? Or how about a goldfish scooping game?" Calli said, speaking faster as she became more excited. She glanced at Hyuse. "I think you'll be good at these," she commented.

Not like Kid, he thought. Though the hang-glider might be more trouble than it was worth.
He watched Prompto take his pictures. "What's so interesting about a flower, anyway?" he asked, not much for the beauties of nature.

"How will they work when we are the only ones here," said Hyuse dryly. "I believe someone has to run them, right? Does this place even have electricity?" He was kind of hoping that his logic would get him out of this.

"I can get up there, if that'll help," Noctis offered. He pointed to the top of the tallest tree in the area and then looked at the rest of the group. "It'll only take a second."
Prompto let his camera hang loosely about his neck and looked at Conan. "Oh, the flower? I dunno, it's just pretty I guess," he said with a sheepish grin. He wasn't really sure how to answer, people usually didn't ask him questions like that. "Flowers like that don't grow where we're from."

Mikaela watched the creature as it got closer. He wasn't really sure if he wanted to even fight the thing or not. The vampire eventually looked away from the the flyi creature and grabbed Kid's wrist with his free hand, then began dragging him away from the creature, though he stared at Kid with a smirk. "Oh so you gave me permission, thanks!" He slightly cheered, the black fog getting less and less dense as they headed away. He wasn't sure if the creature was still following him or not. Finally, once he thought they were clear, he pushed Kid out in front of him, messing around with the sword a bit.

Noctis nodded and held his right hand open. An intricate one-handed sword appeared in it and he then reached back with it held above his shoulder. He closed one eye and used his left hand to aim before throwing the sword at the targeted spot on the tree trunk. Once the sword stuck Noctis disappeared and a moment later the tree shuddered as Noctis landed beside the sword, gripping tightly to the hilt. He stood up and stretched as far as he could above the rest of the branches to peer out at their surroundings. "The end of the forest is coming up soon, pretty hard to see beyond that!" he called down to the group.

"Ring toss sounds great!" Calli said. She had finally let go of Hyuse' arm and ran happily after Rin, snail clinging to her right shoulder. (I totally didn't forget about him)

Sora was just staring at him in amazement. He had never seen anyone do anything like that before. "That was pretty cool! And really?" Sora called back, looking around as if he would be able to anything from where he was standing. "Well lets keep moving and see what we find!"

Rin grinned, soon stopping in front of one of the game booths. Some of the bottles were broken but there were still some in regular condition. She slipped behind the counter, grabbing a pile of rings and setting them on the table before crawling out from behind the counter. "Alright! The rules are simple, try to get the rings around the bottles." She grabbed a few of the rings, handing them to Hyuse. "Why don't you try first?"

"You said that in this place, getting along and working together is the only way to survive. Killing me wont help you." He gave a dry chuckle. "Not like I could stop you though. Can't you remember anything? How far back does that amnesia go?" |

Mikaela stared at him as he spoke, looking really confused. He blinked a few times, tilting his head to one side. "I-I said that? But that doesn't make any sense, why would I want to work with a human?" He asked, but he really wasn't expecting an answer. What Kid had said did sound familiar to him. "Oh...!"
"It's um-" he glanced down at his sword with a frown, then glanced back at the creature. "This is all because of that thing, right? Should we find another way?" He peeked back at Kid.

Conan pushed himself away from the tree he was leaning against. "Hum, that is at least a good sign. I'm very tired of trees." He didn't say anything about what the boy had just done. What use would it be to be surprised anymore. It was really getting common place now.
"So," he said. "Lets go then. I don't know about everyone else, but I'm in the mood to sleep on something other than leave litter."

Hyuse stared at the rings with a touch of boredom. He took them and looked at the bottles. "So the aim is to get them all around the bottles? Why is this considered fun for humans?"
He held out the stack of rings (not just one) and looked at one of the bottles threw them. He tossed the whole stack at it and they neatly fell around it in a stack. He looked at Rin and Calli. "Next? Challenging please."

"Good," said Katio, breathing a sigh of relief. Whether Mika fully remembered everything he wasn't sure. But at least he remember something. "I don't know what that thing is, or what it can do, but I think it wasn't something from me."
He looked where Mikaela was looking and the creature was drifting closer. At least most of the fog was out of his brain. "It doesn't affect you the same why though. Lets get out of here before it tries again."
Kid tried to get to his feet, but that was still beyond his powers. His legs gave out under him and he hissed with frustration.

"It doesn't affect me the same way? What did I try to do?" Mikaela just seemed to notice he had his sword in his hands and quickly sheathed it, shaking his head. He hadn't tried to kill him, did he? Hopefully he just had it out for that creature.
"Good idea," he muttered, and was about to take off, but heard Kid. Sighing, he headed toward his side. "I hope you don't mind me doing this," he scooped Kid up bridal style, then began heading away from the nearing creature. "What happens if it cates up?"

"I wasn't," said Hyuse. And he hadn't. For him and those in his world, that was simple. Just because mundane humans couldn't do it as easily wasn't his fault.
He thought about what he found challenging for a second. He found it challenging to actually stay around here. Things like that. But that probably wasn't what Rin was looking for. "Games of luck would pose more of a challenge," he finally said. Anything that had to do with aiming probably wouldn't work.

"Well, you'll probably get amnesia again," said Kid. He didn't bother to protest to Mika carrying him. He really wouldn't have been able to move fast without his help. "And if I'm lucky I'll be able to convince you to attack it or drag me away again. I don't like how that thing effects me, so I wont be much physical help." He shuddered a little.
The creature was following, but couldn't keep up with Mikaela's speed. Slowly, the feeling of cold was fading away.

Prompto raised a hand. "I second that. What I wouldn't give for a nice hotel bed..." he moaned. "And a bath. And decent food."
Noctis landed beside the group the same way he had gotten up the tree. He hopped to his feet and dusted himself off after somersaulting the landing. "I agree," he murmured with a glance down at his clothes.
"Well then we should get moving instead of hanging around complaining, don't you think?" Hozuki said, starting his walk out of the forest with the dog following.

Calli stared at the rings with wide eyes. Her gaze slowly turned to Hyuse but instead of getting upset she grinned. "I've never seen someone get all of them like that! I knew you'd be good at it!" she exclaimed. "I can barely even get three around the bottles!" she added with a laugh.

He commented with a grin, looking back at the others. Shiro nodded at what the others were saying. That would be nice... "I hope it's a lot nicer than the other city," she added. - Rin giggled with a shrug, looking over at Calli. "Your friend wants a challenging game? Do you know any games of luck at an amusement park?" She asked, looking around with grin. Of course, she knew of the Duck Pond game of the one where you had to throw a ball in the basket. -- Mint (We could always throw more at them xD that could be fun) "I hope long term exposure to it doesn't affect any of us perminately," Mikaela added, glancing back behind him, seeing that the creature was now a dot on the horizon. "The thing shouldn't catch us now, but if it does I'll just kill it." He slowed down some, looking at Kid again. "Do you want to try to stand again?"

Conan trailed after them, a little more energy in his step than before. At least he'd gotten a chance to catch his breath when they'd stopped.

Hozuki shrugged at Sora's comment, sending him a quick glance. "All for the sake of efficiency," he answered casually. It all stemmed from his job in the Underworld, things that weren't handled as soon as they came up usually led to even bigger problems.
"Oh that? I call it a warp strike, it's a magic combat technique," Noctis explained, looking down at Conan. "I throw any of my weapons and warp to wherever it hits. Only members of my family can do it, or those we trust enough to wield it."
"He's only let me use it once," Prompto chimed in.

Calli glanced at Rin before putting her hands on her hips as she thought about the question, her foot starting to tap halfway through. "Oh! There's that one where there are three cups and you have to guess which cup is hiding a ball," she said. "And one with ducks I think," she added, looking back at Rin. He grumbled, not wanting to look back. He wasn't sure how fast they were and he wasn't running at his fastest. "Keep your eyes out for anymore, okay?"

She pulls it back sometimes, but always leaves a section on the left side hanging in her face, hiding a thin scar that runs from above her eyebrow to her cheek. She has a black arrowhead necklace on a long cord and a round pewter locket on a shorter cord. Arlo usually dresses in dark or dull colors and wears black combat boots and gloves. She carries a large knife with a wof's head carved on the handle. Personality: Arlo is reserved, feeling more comfortable talking to people she's known for awhile, but she'll still try to talk to other people. Once she starts to get comfortable around others the more fun side of her personality starts to show through. She's had some pretty bad experiences in her world and It takes quite awhile to gain her trust but she is a loyal friend and protective of those she is close to.
