Update on Thunderclan:
Shadeclaw revealed his brother, Cometblaze, as having a forbidden romance. When Lightningstar refused to banish him, Shadeclaw called him out for being a weak leader. He called for Lightningstar to step down. A couple cats joined in in calling Lightningstar weak and wantinfba new leader. Lightningstar vanished Cometblaze to stop their complaints. Shadeclaw is still trying to turn the clan against Lightningstar.

Nice.
A lot of the argument was about being anti forbidden romance. Like there's been a lot in thunder (my fault whoops) and Shadeclaw wants them punished and gone. The kits he thinks can stay if they are loyal but the cats who broke the code should be gone.
That's just his platform to try and become leader. He wants power and for cats to not think he's weak. He doesn't want to live in his family and brother's shadow.

Mothsong's just plain nasty and gladly joined Shadeclaw's side
And Sparrowpaw is his loyal apprentice. So he's kind of been misguided into believing it.
Bloompelt and Autumnfall were upset with how Lightningstar seemed to distance himself from the clan and wallow in himself, ect.

Well I had one idea where those cats who had forbidden romances would get kicked out along with Lightningstar. I imagine they'd all follow him until the time was right to take back the clan.
Or they would stay (Lightning unsure if he'd leave or stay) but they'd be very low ranking and not truste dot do anything

I know for a fact that if Lightningstar does get kicked out, Yarrowcloud would leave with him.
Peachdapple would have no choice but to stay for her clanmates.
Acorntail would refuse to be led by Shadeclaw and leave as well.
Everyone else would stay, whether they really believe him or not. For my characters, at least.

hmm I'm not really sure which side my cats would be on.. all of them are pretty much pure Thunderclan, but if Yarrow left Shadow, Darktail and Petalsky would definitely follow.

Idk what's even going to happen. If Shadeclaw takes over he needs llike a 1/3 of the clan if not more. Not like 6 cats.

Hornetstrike would stay for multiple reasons. One, he'd want to know why Shade had changed, and for Whiteblaze. |
