"We can go to Lionpaw. I think he needs some.. uh.. er.." Streampaw was unable to think of a proper word, so she just meowed, "Joy? Happiness? Just some... comforting." The gray she-cat felt terrible about the loss of Cinderpaw, and she knew that if she was a littermate with her, Streampaw would be suffering much more. She didn't know how Lionpaw would react to them trying to make him feel better, but she hoped it would go well. ((I have been busy lately and still am. Band season is kicking in more!))
"That will be fine. I hope he isn't hostile..." Batpaw murmured, his icy blue eyes wandering around. He searched around for the sad cat, once setting his sights on him, he slowly advanced. "Lionpaw?" He questioned. "Do you want to hang out with us...?" His raspy voice questioned.

(I may not be on a lot today, it's been raining a lot with flash flood warnings. And I may be going to my friend's house today, too, unless I reschedule due to weather.)

It's okay guys. Fangirl, would you like your charries to be deleted or given to another forumer? I haven't been on in a while, and I'm sorry. School is just kinda creeping up on me!))
Lionpaw heard Batpaw and Streampaw approaching. He curled into a tighter ball, his back facing them, and murmured, "Leave me alone." His eyes were open, and they held all the pain, grief and sorrow in the world. He sniffled, holding back a sob. "I know why you've come. Just go away and leave me alone!"

Streampaw stepped back in surprise at Lionpaw's angry words, and she stuttered, "Uh.. erm.. W-would you like to t-talk about it? M-maybe it'll help you c-calm down." The light gray was kind of scared, and she refused to make eye contact with Lionpaw. The apprentice didn't know what to say, since she had never experienced anything like this. Streampaw hoped that Lionpaw wouldn't let his anger and grief take over him. "Lionpaw just wants to be alone right now. Maybe it's better if you leave." Larkpaw said softly to the she-cat, feeling bad that Lionpaw snapped at her.

Batpaw did not flicker his gaze. His eyes stared at Lionpaw, however no attempt to be rude was made. His icy blue eyes were wide, and his ears slowly vibrated from him remaining so still. His voice was heavy and monotone but held no malice.
"Someday you will not be able to get the help from those you stand by." He mewed rather darkly. "We'll leave you alone for now, but please talk to me if you need guidance. I know a loss just like this." He mewed stiffly, referring to his sister. How hypocritical of him, still not over her completely. Memories would somehow make their way into conversations.
Expecting that one of the apprentices would be angry or confused about his words, he simply turned tail and exited the area, still as tall and calm as he was walking in.
((Thought I'd add something interesting about his personality and bluntness))

Streampaw was quite surprised at Batpaw's words, but she just meowed, "Uh.. bye?" The gray tabby quickly bounded outside of the den, hoping that she wouldn't bump into the male apprentice in front of her. Her blind gaze looked back at Lionpaw before she quickly turned her head back again. ".. Did you have to be so.. um.." Streampaw didn't know the exact words, but she did know that what Batpaw said to Lionpaw was not extremely nice. She would've thought that Batpaw would have at least stayed and tried to comfort Lionpaw, but she was wrong. The male apprentice spoke with a calm expression. The light gray cat didn't know why Batpaw sounded like he didn't care much, but she didn't mention it. "I don't understand by what you mean." He turned around, relaxing his shoulders. "I was helping him. Lovey dovey talk would only make it worse. Completely blunt would, too." He explained. His brain functioned much more differently. "I'm not telling him to stand up and forget about her completely, but to not drag on about it forever. If he does, he will lose every other opportunity in his life." Batpaw pointed out. "Our choices and feelings may vary, but the same message is sent across." "I only said what I did was right. I obeyed his requests. There is nothing else to do but to wait until he needs sympathy." Batpaw sat down, his black pelt flat as a plain. He looked at Streampaw, his voice indicating it was a normal comforting tone for him.

Lionpaw bristled slightly at Batpaw's words, but made no move to hurt him. Instead, he waited for Streampaw and Batpaw to leave before growling to Larkpaw. "Why are you still here? Didn't I just say for you to leave me alone? I want to be alone! There is nothing you can do to help me through this, nobody can do anything! I have to go through this by myself! Just go away, Larkpaw."

She softly whispered even though she knew he didn't care what she was saying. Before leaving the den she looked back at Lionpaw," And Lionpaw...I do understand. I've lost kin too you know. Cinderpaw wouldn't want you to grieve her this way and you know it...I'm never going to stop caring about you. Push me away all you want but I'm still going to be here for you whenever you need me.." Without waiting for a response the she-cat walked out of the den and quickly ran out of camp, trying to clear her head of Lionpaw.

Lionpaw lifted his head as Larkpaw ran out of the den, the cloudy film of grief over his eyes fading a bit. "Larkpaw.." he murmured. His mind flashed back to them laughing and pulling pranks together. Sharing prey, and just talking. Suddenly his eyes were clear and he sprinted after her.

((It's all good!))
Larkpaw finally came to a halt at the alpine trees and let out the breath she didn't know she had been holding. She shivered at the harsh breeze that found it's way threw the trees and her shoulder ached from earlier. She couldn't stop her mind from thinking about Lionpaw and if he was okay.

Lionpaw crashed out of the den, not caring if he was hurt. He had to make it up to Larkpaw. he sniffed the air, searching for her scent, and found she had gone out of the camp. He narrowed his eyes and dashed out of the tunnel, following her scent. He slipped on an icy rock and almost fell, but regained his balance and pushed on through the snowy rock.

Larkpaw crouched down and wrapped her tail around her paws to keep herself warm. She scolded herself for thinking Lionpaw would want her to be there for him. Why would anyone want her? Larkpaw let sadness consume her and she softly whimpered out.

As Lionpaw rounded alpine trees, Larkpaw's scent got stronger, and he slowed. He heard whimpering and hid behind a thick bush, watching Larkpaw through the branches.

"Cinderpaw I'm sorry I've let you down...Lionpaw just keeps pushing me away...I don't know what to do..I'm so sorry." Larkpaw whispered to the skies before bowing her head in defeat.

Lionpaw cocked his head, but didn't make a sound. He waited for Larkpaw to keep talking, hoping she did. He pelt a pang of sadness when Larkpaw said his sister's name, but shook it away.\
(Maybe Larkpaw could try to commit suicide but Lionpaw stops her? It might add some plot.)

((Okayyy))
"He just doesn't want me..." Larkpaw whimpered sadly before standing up. She let out a sigh and made up her mind," There's no point in living if everyone is happier without me in their lives.." She spoke gently.
